Didnt find it the first time round - my coordinates took me round the back of some random houses off a small walkway till I gave in. A fellow (more experienced)GCer pointed out the importance of a correctly placed 0 which, given the binary code, was ironically all I needed to nail the correct coords. Coming back from McCutchan Cache Clans Event filled with determination to change the last few blueys to yellows in the dying hours of me being in Hamilton, I ventured to the new WP in the freezing cold foggy evening just to find I was inattentive enough to be searching for ages on the wrong side of the road. Duh moment later and the cache was soon found and signed, proving I AM deserving of NCEA Level 2 after all Mihi ki a koe mo te keteroki #179
My coords were off. Bit of erroneous bushwhacking to no avail My check was coming up incorrect so maybe I need to sit NCEA L1 again
Managed to solve this one while quietly sitting on my phone at a family evening and then stopped by to grab it on the way home. Cache was located fairly quickly once I reached GZ thanks to a suspicion, but was definitely not where the hint described. Tftc
Out doing some grocery shopping with rattll this evening. She needed a puzzle today for a challenge, and this one was conveniently solved a while ago. Overshot the parking, so had to turn and come back to GZ. An odd location. After a bit of a hunt, found the cache somewhat lower than expected. Log dry, all good. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Out with matagouri this evening, looking for a mystery cache to fill a space on my grid. Ive had this in the solved pile for a while now. Well thats NCEA level 2 done and dusted. The test included finding a suitable park and getting to GZ.Thanks for setting this up
A nice quick find, thogh a bit slippery getting to GZ. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are on the road again, up "North" to visit family an friends. Heading South again today!.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
GL as mentioned before. Slidey and smelly but seen and signed. Thank you novalightning
Nice one and no problems at all but not exactly as per hint but close enough
Road trip with Gorby for the "18th" Event in Hamilton. We had some time to pick up a few hides. This was one of them.
I`m logging this cache as my 10182 find.
TFTC novalightning!

I came down to Hamilton for a day of caching, meeting tramyard at his place in Auckland and leaving at 9:15am. We started at Hampton Downs and gradually worked ourselves south in his little green 4WD buggy.
I solved this puzzle last night in anticipation of this trip, initially I thought this is going to be impossible to solve, but I tried something and I couldn't believe it worked. Kudos to me. The only thing I would say there is a missing zero, but apart from that I got the geochecker to work on my second go. Thanks for the puzzle.
We found the little mint tin at GL. Close enough as tramyard has said.

I had completed a number of puzzles in Hamilton some time ago so decided to visit some of them. Parking was a little difficult. The cache wasn't placed where I had envisaged it would be but it was the only obvious place to look. Recovered it as found. Tftc
Glad to sign off a long ago solved puzzle. Parked and wondered along to GZ. Had a wee look about and bingo there it was. Thx for another smilie on a great puzzle.
Solved a little time back
..super accurate co ords allowed for a quick find and sign .
Thanks Novalightning great puzzle

I am not used to having to work for exams as back in the day there was the magic "acreditation" which worked a treat for lazy students like me. Anyway got the magic tick and today we ventured forth to find. I was looking up instead of down, but great coords soon had my eyes focused on the correct altitude. Thanks for the puzzle novalightning.
Third of 4 for the quick evening drive. Grabbing a couple to go towards the latest souvenir challenge. Quick find, while heading towards home. Solved this a considerable time ago, so pretty happy to turn this into a smiley. TFTC! #2019
We were coming down to Hamilton to visit a nearby business, so I had to get this one.
I didn't have the patience to decode this by hand, so I wrote a quick Perl script to do the heavy lifting, then I got the coords.
When I went for the find, my muggle wife stayed in the car. She saw a man at the nearby building watch my every move and eventually went over to explain that I was Geoaching, which she describes as, "Signing my name to a piece of paper in a waterproof container." Who said muggles are not good for anything? TFTC.

A Saturday to spare so the call was made to gather those free for a small raid on the Waikato. McJandals and TNXPro were able to join me and meander through the country side collecting this cache on our travels.
We were lucky to pick this one up today - good work on TNXPro decoding this one on the fly. Cache found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers novalightning, TFTC

On another roadie with P.P and McJ.
I always seem to have caches to pick up around Hamilton.
While the others were searching for a cache I had already found, I had a go at solving this as we walked to the cache.
Turns out, I would have aced Level 2 NCEA if it was this easy, as I had the puzzle solved on my phone in under 10minutes.
Now for NCEA level 3.

On a roadie (from Tauranga) with Philip Perry and TNXPRO. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
I'm fairly sure this cache is no longer being maintained and I'm not even sure if the CO is still in the game. I had a spare container so dropped it in for the next cacher. If the CO is still active, please contact me if there is any issue. TFTP.
Unfortunately I had no joy with this cache... I see it has been awhile since last found. May need a CO check.
Out and about in the Tron trying to sign off on some solved puzzle caches that have sat in my solved pile for far too long. No problem with the solve, though it was years ago now! Parked up and carefully made my way down to GZ. Not sure about that terrain rating, particularly with all the rubbish about. Quickly spotted hide and completed the formalities, though the log book is rather damp. Cheers for the puzzle cache placement!
1126 NCEA did not exist when I was at school but did pass university entrance which was the exam of the same year
Managed to pass NCEA Level @, and took the opportunity while in the area today to prove it.
Cache was found open on the ground, so re-asembled and replaced as best I could as per the hint.
Huge opportunity for some serious CITO around here, seems to be the local rubbish tip.

Easy solve but the cache and GZ was not nice, lots of rubbish and the container was smelly and inhabited by earwigs and cockroaches.
Having lost my original study notes had to put my nose back into the books. The second pass and a cache found means another smilie. TFTC.

Finding this cache took much longer than it should have thanks to my phone not wanting to play the caching game today. This area has the potential for a future CITO as apparently it's a good place to dump large household items including an old TV. Unfortunately I didn't have the space or a willing participate for a CITO this morning. Maybe he needs to attend one this weekend for a bit of practice .......................
It's taken a combination of nudges and sheer brain power to amass our latest collection of solved puzzles. Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I have had some moments of brilliance, so it was time to visit the Waikato to reap the rewards...
I knew exactly what was needed to solve this puzzle and had it sorted quickly. I mixed up the hint for this cache with another, so it took ages to spot the cache. Gap soon had it sorted. TFTP and TFTC.

1pm - Another day visiting the puzzle-tron with Squirrell with some good reults and a few failures (dnf's). Decided to hit the road early to avoid traffic with the All Blacks game on tonight.
Hint had me at the bottom not the top. SLTFTC

Good puzzle. I accidentally earned a lot of red 'x's but I eventually realised my mistake and was able to sort it out. Thanks for this one
Ticking off some solved puzzles that have been on the to collect list for way too long. Good to get out and grab this one today, although I did do a wee scream when I saw it was covered in slaters and they were heading for my hand. Cache was hastily dropped.
an afternoon out with hpg, not sure who got the bigger fright, hpg or the slaters, tftc
We found this puzzle easier than NCEA 1, and reasonably easy to track down cache. Thanks.
Solved this one without any problems and likewise with the find today. Liked the cache contents - very fitting for the final location. Thanks.
No trouble solving this one but the find was a little more difficult. Took ages but did find the cache nestled away. Thanks very much novalightning.
A good, simple puzzle, solved ages ago. was passing by today, so stopped to find the cache. Not a pleasant experience. Dozens of items matching hint. Bad GPS receiption. Wider and wider area search in what is essentially a rubbish collection area.
Interesting to see the changes in the school nearby.

10144... NCEA Level 2 was sat and passed, the quickest and easiest paper for us in the series, just a couple more to collect before the Madness begins, many thanks.
Didn't have to much trouble with the solve but almost needed a torch for the find during the eclipse.

After ticking the nearby cache we decided to to make this the next one on the list. Got there no problems on foot but due to my height restrictions, evilno9 manage to grab it for me.

Continuing our big of caching and finding solved puzzles with mike-miss and snakelion. Walked up here from the previous cache and saw some likely candidates as we got closer to GZ. Ducked in and used my extended reach to get the find above snakelion. Thanks for another enjoyable puzzle!
The 16 year old of the team is currently studying for NCEA level 2 and I hope the passes as easily as this. No worries figuring it out and I think an excellent mark is required here. Somehow we haven't figured out NCEA Level 1 and he passed that with excellence last year, hmmmmmmmmm back to the study for Level 1.
Passed this exam quickly soon after publication. Cache quickly found, signed and replaced. Thanks for another puzzle of yours! Enjoying all your new ones lately.
Did the work, learnt something, passed the test. Empty of swag, so left a few, including CITO bags as this area is a real tip. Left with one full bag- not a dent in it, unfortunately.
NCEA caches now successfully completed but still don't understand how the real version works despite having children going through the process.
Many thanks
Many thanks

Having done Level 1 and 3 we could not leave without doing 2........ Had solved it before but somehow misplaced the solution so had to re solve it on the go, once we got the iPad to copy and paste!!
Nice puzzle and clever hiding spot.

Enjoyed the puzzle, and thought we'd stop to sign this one off on the way to soccer this am. Laughed at yet another cache that highlights how much shorter I am than the CO tftpc
Didn't take too long to solve, and an easy find at gz
