Cache #1990. Today's second find.
This morning, I had an appointment in South, and this cache was on my way to City. Why not try again? I had an unsuccessful attempt before, but today I found it.
Revealed the hint. Read the previous log. Finally found the cache a bit North from GZ.
Signed the log sheet, and put it back.
Thanks for the cache, GOTHS. Thanks for taking over the cache, Aussie M & M.

Managed to find it. Mind you the coordinates are about 10m out!!! Thanks GOTHS.
Coordinates are a little out but read messages for help . Found by my daughter on her first geocache outing . TFTC!
An assorted day's caching was had today with several different aims. This one was chosen to go on our list as we wanted to find caches in some council areas where we had not cached before.
Not finding anything at GZ, we needed the help of previous logs. One told us what sort of tree it was in, another confirmed how far from GZ it was, a third mentioned the elevation level. Then the find was easy.
Thanks go to Aussie M & M for adopting and maintaining this cache, but some tweaking of the co-ords would make it easier for beginners.

Today I managed to find Cotton or Calico, it was my second attempt here, the first one being 6 months ago. This one was tricky, in the sense that the cache is 14m north of the posted coordinates. Thanks Wavey8272 for the definitive and short note that guides one directly to the cache. It then took me over ten minutes to extract the log, thankfully there was a chair nearby where the extraction could take place. I used the toolkit from my push bike to extract the new log, which was jammed by the old logs buried in the base. I managed to get all the wads out, then neatly folded the lot so they fit in the cap, not the long part of the bison, something KTPops taught me right at the beginning of my caching. Hopefully the next one searching will make the find easier, and be able to sign the log easily. TFTC Aussie M&M
WE FOUND IT!!!!!! After 3 trips to the same park we found it on a pine tree. The second time we went there we saw it but thought it wasn’t it.
We looked for 30 minuets and couldn’t find it but we saw a bird box really high up in a tree and thought it could be in there but it was to hard to get.
Cotton or Calico - 2nd Wedding Anniversary was transferred from GOTHS to user Aussie M & M
That was a hard one. The coordinates are pretty out on this one, and the image is helpful, but don’t rely on it. For future Geocachers, try S 34 57.041’ E 138 35.580’. Otherwise once finally found, it was all ok. Logbook a little screwed up, so please please roll it up and insert the logbook into the container top, or otherwise if you put it in the container bottom first, the logbook gets tattered, thanks.
Took a while to find. GPS is definitely out. The photo helped but still took a little while to find. Thankfully whitekatt’s eagle eyes saved the day. Geodogs weren’t much help.
Log was soggy. Tftc.

Had searched for this previously a few months ago with a dnf so was happy to get the smiley today. The log hadn't been signed since 2014 though so perhaps the one I found is not the same one people have recently been finding?
Nice park. Geokid loved coming back.

Now we know what a micro cache looks like. A little persistence paid off. Thank-you!
Out at the park with the kids, coordinates had me right in the corner. Wouldn't have found it without the photo. TFTC
Found cotton on the floor next to a string on a branch, might the cache have fallen off?
Out for some caching with Normanville on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Would not have found cache without help of the photo. The gps had us in the far corner. Great park. Tftc
Looked all over with a mouse and a martian but alas no find today. Is it still there?
Turned this one into a night cache. Not a good idea. However the cache was located in the very final place we looked. TFTC
Back for another look today with the geohusband. Found the log part tucked in the tree. Rerolled and hid screwed to the lid. Definitely not above head height more like chest height unless you are 4! TFTC nice to clear up a dnf
No joy here toda but then I'm not that great at locating bisons in trees tfth will watch
Still here, it’s a tiny cache, black and close to the facilities. It’s in this area (photo)
Some after-show caching with Pony1966 on a balmy afternoon. Despite being with previous finders, no luck for us!
Found it after reading other comments, no wire attached, used hairband as a temp fix as no wire in the car. Might need admin/owner to replace with wire again
Found the cache after a short search.
Lucky for us there were no muggles about. Tftc

A return visit under the cover of darkness after a very long time since our last attempt. whether this time the cache had been placed in a much more visible location or we were just blind the first time we tried. In any case it was found by Mr Adder so both he and Mrs rat could sign this off. Cache returned to a very lightly more camoed position at GZ. TFTC GOTHS.
Came to the park to shoot hoops with my partner and check what’s on the local Grow Cart and it was quiet enough to finally have a look for this one. TFTC!
Cache # 38 - Took me a bit and Sid distracted by other dogs, but got it just as I was about to give yo. Love the significance of the series... will hunt down more.
NO need to look for reptiles the cache is safe and sound where the clue suggests
Thanks GOTHS
Thanks GOTHS
There is a hole in the fence and either there is a blue tongue lizard or it's a snake. You cannot see anything but part of its body. I wasn't going to risk investigating any further.
I feel it's right where the geo is aswell

Out and about with geogirl finding a few caches. Searched for a while and then geomum spotted the cache, blends in so well.

Today I was caching around the eastern suburbs with Aussie M&M and Brisal, we started our caching day around my home then we ended up at Glenelg, the cache was found in no time !! All good guys you just need to be careful and Not to pull the cache.
easy peace TFTFun

The wire was removed and tested and found to be sound. The branch where the cache was now was not as intended and the hide had been replaced to the correct elevation.
Brisal5 and Aussie Mary will be heading to this one for maintenance on Tuesday 2/5/17.
Thanks for bringing me to this nice spot.
A quick find once I was at the right tree.

The wire that attaches the tube to the tree is starting to look old and weak. It would probably be good to renew the wire soon to prevent it falling onto the ground.
Finally found it! Of course it helps when you know what a small bison is!! (Not the four-legged kind certainly). Nor was it above my head where I first was looking. I found it about 5 m North from where my phone said it was. Thank you for the trip to the park.
Tricky. Clues from previous finds said to look up... now I've got a crook neck! Haha. Next time.
Nice to finally find this one, as I DNF'd about 18 months ago. Took 8 mins to find it as the coords were off by about 5 metres, so had to widen the search. Found and signed log
Another of those pesky caches that have eluded me for years [:o]
I must have cycled through this park dozens of times since this cache was hidden.
So why hasn't I found it yet ??
Today I rolled to a halt next to the empty seat.
A few muggles were nearby,
taking advantage of the early morning cool.
And with a fizzy cola in paw,
I wandered around and found the cache in a couple of minutes
Too easy [^]

Looked quite a while for this one (lucky this end of the park was clear) but after widening the search, eventually found it safe and sound. Past clues guided us regarding the general location. TFTC!
Must be at least the 5th time we've looked for this one. Finally! Great hide, tftc.
Here with hevwalker today caching our way to Athelstone for some night caching.
Having been here twice already, we were hoping to find this elusive treasure.
After what seemed like an eon of time we finally found a smaller version that what we were expecting.
Regardless, very glad to cross this one off my list, thanks for the hide GOTHS

Almost immediately after a popular "Indoor" cache very nearby i just had to 'Right' my 'Wrong' on this recent failed attempt on what was becoming a Nemesis cache, (hate those ). To be honest i have tried to find this about 4 times in the last month but logging that many DNF's would be ...embarrasing", there, i just did .
I did what all intelligent (albeit limited amount) cachers do...... 'Widen' the search . It took about 5-7 minutes and the Nemesis was Nemesis no more. I don't know what it is with me and these particular types of hide but I always get "Cache-Blindness" with them. There is another hide almost exactly like it near West Terrace in the City, that too, took me ages but is now a Smiley on my map also. SL at 16:23 on Thu 26 May 2016. TFTC and that "Tricky" Hide, GOTHS

I can't believe I'm stumped on this 1 and a half star difficulty find Log clues usually point me in the right general direction, but still no Large Bison Tube.... aaah very tricky indeed. Failing light and good camo doesn't help one find it i guess but that's no excuse [:o)] It (hopefully) is still there. In better light and with brain and eye's working , I will return. (with a supermagnet it may just come to me ha ha ) TFTH GOTHS
This one took me a while but finally spotted it. Found while waiting for family member who was having treatment at a nearby Eye Specialist. Thanks for the hide GOTHS.
My first attempt at finding a geocache. Didn't find it after a while and gave up because I look suspicious rustling around in the bushes!
Looked and looked with no luck. Then a lady walking a dog asked if we were geocaching. Her son who lives in England found this last year. As I said goodbye to her I turned and walked straight to it.
