We had a decent look for this cache but failed in our attempt.
Thanks anyway Rustymac75.

We had a birthday party to attend in Marong so we (neisha07, becca85 & Muggle Dad) left early and took the loooooong way there. Some very cool places visited and caches found as well as some more by torchlight on our way home as Mum is on a mission to hit a milestone at a certain event. A great day! TFTC!
We cached our way the long way to Marong this afternoon and grabbed as many caches as we could in the time we had. Lots of fun was had! TFTC
I have an aim to reach my #1000 by next weekend. With my closest cache a good 40 minute drive from home, I need to make sure to utilise any chance I get. Tonight we have a Birthday dinner in Marong so boo09, neisha07 & Muggle husband/Dad headed off a couple of hours earlier than needed to take quite a detour to nab as many caches as we could in the time we had. Off via some new caches in Dunolly, Moliagal then up to Bridgewater and we geocached our way down the highway into Marong until we ran out of time.
This one had us detouring a bit further again but this cache was missing when we cleaned out this area last year so today was a great chance to grab it.

Found on my way to an event in St. Arnaud. I didn't see any kangaroos here, though I did have some jump out in front of my on my way up Mt. Moliagul not long before! A had a quick find this morning, but had to return on my way home because I accidentally dropped my pen here. Don't like dropping pens since they tend to give the hide away for the next finder. Thanks for the cache Rustymac75!
Had this on my going home list so was pleased I didn't overshoot the turnoff!! No roos about but that's ok there will be plenty at home. TFTC Rustymac75
Yay at last a smiley for this cache!!! It's taken 3 visits but thanks to the recent correction of the coordinates we found it. We had previously been so close to it but also so far from it. TFTC
Spotted a few grasshoppers/hopalongs or more commonly known as kangaroos on the road along here before we stopped for the cache. Took me a few minutes to pinpoint GZ. But found and log singed. TFTC.
This cache gave me a good reason for stopping: to get rid of the tailgater who had been following me for about 5km.
Thanks for the cache Rustymac.
Thanks for the cache Rustymac.
Having spent the weekend in Melbourne it was time to head home.... via Bendigo... Sadly we had to leave Bushfire in Melbourne and then Aussie M & M in Bendigo so just brisal5 and I from here on...
Thank you for another great cache to finish our huge weekend off.
Thank you for another great cache to finish our huge weekend off.
After a wonderful weekend at the Melbourne Mega Event it was time to break up Team BAMBI (Bushfire, Aussie M&M, mogni, brisal5 incognito) and head home. We left Bushfire in Melbourne and Aussie M & M in Bendigo with relatives and just mogni and I headed back to border along roads we had never been down before. Of course that meant we could do some caching.
Time to stretch the legs and grab this cache. No kangaroos today and this took a lot of searching. After searching all the possibles hide I just trusted the GPS and it took me to a clever and unlikely hide. Thanks Rustymac75 for this cache.

Didn't have any joy here today. Widen the search but as I was on a time limit with the Saints n Sinners riders I thought I had better not take too long at this stop.
Next visit I wull try again. Can't believe how far we rode when you look at the map.

Going for this one during the day light helped a lot, the dark did make it hard. TFTC
An easy find. No camo, no hide, just the cache. So many posibilities here. Hmmm
Heading home from a day trip to Maryborough we decided to head out this way to pick up a couple of caches to finish the day off nicely. This spot is deadly this time of night for Roos. Lucky we didn't see any on the road.Didn't take long to find this one. Nards picked up a TB as well. Glad it's up and running again.
Got to GZ and got nothing. Looked in a lot of different spots and gave up after 10 mins.
Found on an early morning trip to Bendigo after CO has placed a new cache container
I have visited this site three times without success, always end up at the same place, a lot of roadside rubbish, bottle and cans. There has been some earth works carried out very closely. A near by tree has a lovely hiding place for a cache.
DNF today. If this cache was attached to a sign, I think the old sign has been removed and a new one put in its place.
Quick find on a beautiful day. Found with the Reluctant Companion on our trip to Wodonga Vic. for the Ulysses AGM. TNLN TFTC
Out caching with Atila today, and doing some cache maintenance. TFTC!
GPS had us 8metres away from where cache is hidden.
Went straight to the obvious spot, luckily.

After shopping in Maryborough we made a quick stop for this one on the way home and was glad for the turn-out area as it would be quite dangerous to stop here otherwise I think! No kangaroos today, but there was a dead deer on the side of the road further ahead. Seeing the GPS compass point in a particular direction, I was able to walk up and had the cache in hand quickly with the GPS coords spot on. I signed it, put it back and off we went. TFTC!
We found this one during our camper-van holiday in Australia.
Thank you for the Cache and greetings from Germany.
Thank you for the Cache and greetings from Germany.
I always watch out for kangaroos
I hate hitting the bounders, but every now and then .... well .... one bounds out in front of me
I never swerve though !! [:o]
'Cos you are far more likely to actually hit the roo, and far more likely to do serious damage to your car, and yourself
NEVER SWERVE for roos people [:o]
And don't stomp on the damn brake pedal either !!!
I know !! Easy for me to say
But city slickers keep writing themselves off on country roads trying to miss roos !!
Them silly 'roo shooers' that emit ultra-sonic sounds don't work either !!
They just scare the roos into your path
So with the cache log nicely padded out ....
.... I can say found it

A great days caching with many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
Many thanks xo FrOgGeR ox for placing this cache .

Suscoe's 7th find of 58 for today as we left St Arnaud and headed to Bendigo for a bit of rail trailing.
This was a delightful day with perfect weather which hit around 22 degrees and at times some very light rain in the morning.
The trip was great and we enjoyed seeing the green tinge to the surrounding paddocks.
Thanks to xo FrOgGeR ox for this hide.

We were really worried when all we could find of the cache was the magnet which was still attached under the sign we searched all around and were about to do a DNF /needs maintenance log and then Ian spotted the cache container between the two sign boards. There really isn't any room to get fingers in to extricate the cache and as we tried it jumped back even further between the boards. We hunted around and found some old fencing wire and fashioned a hook out of it, sometime later we finally managed to get the cache out. While I signed the log Ian went back to the caravan and found the glue, now the magnet is back on the container and all is returned to it's original and more accessible position. If it falls off again hopefully someone will not ram it in between the signs.
Thanks xo FrOgGeR ox

Found as we headed to Victoria on a 4 day caching run with Firesafe, Freddo and Honeysucker, was a great trip with lots of interesting scenery on the way, some were previously found by other members of the trip so if we got stuck we could pull the "help me" card and have a hint on its where abouts, we cached until we reached our destination being Mt Buffalo about 1000 Ks from home and set up camp for the night, weather was perfect and i got to see some very interesting cache hides, got to finally sleep in a swag which was interesting and extremely comfortable, a big thank you to all that hid caches for us to find on our journey and look forward to one day returning to Victoria to cache this beautiful state. A good parking spot even with the caravan, and, an easy find although the attachment device is a little weak; SL; TFTC
Found on road trip with Timotatus. tftc
This wasn't quite where we expected, although nearby. Wondered if the empty post once had a Roo warning sign. Traveled carefully as just after sunrise anyway, didn't see any

We only found this while heading back to the car; the coords seemed to be about 10 metres out and we had been looking in the bush. Originally we reckoned it would be at the very visible item and in fact that was where it was.

After crossing the Nullarbor we left Port Augusta and drove to Burra, selecting a few caches to pick up on the way. At Burra we went on a walk past the many historic buildings, several of which also had caches close by. More caches were selected along the roads to Mildura. But on the way from there to Mildura we were quite frustrated by two caches that every one else had found but we couldn't; now that is annoying.
