The weather forecast was looking pretty good so I decided Id head South today and carry on my exploits down there..today was Kinchina Conservation Park.So today I hiked 11.58km around here over 3.5 hours and found all 32 caches I looked for. Im pretty shattered now All caches (container and log) were in great condition, except one which I will let the CO know about.I really enjoyed today, this is an exceptional resource for all of us to enjoy.I saw so much birdlife, lizards and kangaroos.but no snakes, maybe they saw me before I spotted them and scarpered Im also awarding every cache a favourite point. Unusual I know but this was a great day out TFTC

Today I chose to explore these trails while entertaining my GC hobby. I quite enjoyed the terrain and was very surprised to claim unloved on many of the caches. I spent all day exploring returning to the Geo Van briefly in the afternoon to refresh and have a late lunch. This was one of the caches foundSurprised to finally see one of these cache containers and pink

Today I headed out for a day of caching around Murray Bridge. After a few mentally challenging weeks I fancied a day out in the countryside and a big walk. Mission accomplished.
Had a great day out walked 14.5kms and found 25 caches. I did have a couple of dnfs but that was OK.
Lots of wildlife seen but thankfully no snakes. I am sure Rex was on the walk with me in spirit the Roos and rabbits thought so too!
Thanks to all the CO for cache placement and maintenance much appreciated.
It’s more pastel today but thought it was a great hide. TFTC CP loving the caches through here

Dr Owl was offering a day out caching and a general idea of where to go decided. The result was an enjoyable, relaxing day wandering around Rocky Gully and a few extra caches to up the tally.

There has been a bit of cache creep here if the cache is supposed to be located per the 'Secretly hidden here' image but it was still an easy find.

Thanks for the cache CP.

20-Sep-20
With the Woop Woop creek event in the afternoon, I decided to head to the area early and make a day of it in this virgin geocaching territory for me.

I spent the morning caching in Kinchina Conservation Park. I was in two minds whether to bring my bike but decided in the end to leave it home as Many of caches here in Kinchina Conservation Park are off the trails.

It was an enjoyable walk around with only a couple of cyclists seen I felt I had the place to myself. Although there were heaps of Shingleback lizards and one black snake to keep me company.

Found without problems.

Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to Kinchina Conservation Park with our mountain bikes, with our aim to ride the Cypress Hill Trail. This is a reasonably new trail only opened in late 2019. We ended up riding the trail one way, and then returned via the geocaches in the area, so a number of short detours. We then had a bakery lunch in Murray Bridge and did a short sweep of a few of our previous DNFs, before stopping off at Nairne on our return back to Adelaide due to a few new multi-caches just published this morning. A great winter day with the sun out.

This sign isn't so bright these days, with obvious fading in the sun over the years. The trail is only 10 m away from the obvious sign and cache, so perhaps it was only by fluke that the cache wasn't found then during construction?! Otherwise, quite the funny one to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks CPwanderer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Had some time off this week and picked a beautiful winter’s day for a walk and, of course, a bit of caching with F-Llama. Very happy to find all 20 we looked for in the Rocky Gully area - although we think we may not have approached all from the best angle as there was some bush bashing involved. A quick find at GZ – thanks to the bright sign. TFTC Smile

Out for a walk on a chilly morning with geowife and geodog.

We had a nice walk as we cleaned up the western group of caches.

Unless I have sent a separate note all caches were in good order and were found fairly quickly.

Thanks to all who placed caches and for the effort to make the caches interesting.

There's nothing like a regular & an ammo tin is a bonus.
This one kinda stood out.
A nice walk up to Gz.
Still think the paint needs to be a shade brighter CP!!
Places like these makes it really worth caching.
Thanks for bringing us here, worth a fav point.

Clare007 & I decided to tackle the very up & down Rocky Gully caches (Murray Bridge end). The day began with a flat tyre & calling the RAA. Had it fixed in 20 minutes then off to the start. It was a beautiful day, just perfect for a big day of walking & caching. Completed 16 caches after wandering 5.5hrs. There were a lot of variety in the caches and the scenery was amazing.

Did some more cross country bush walking up the bank from BBB Imitation Cache across the open plains & up yet another hill. Saw this very bright cache from about 23 metres away, love it. Took the pathtag and dropped of a Black Kangaroo TB. Thanks for something completely different CPwanderer.

A coolish day had us deciding to tackle the hides in the Rocky Gully Conservation Park.

We saw some beautiful wildflowers, several shinglebacks, several hares and rabbits but fortunately no slithery thingsBig Grin

We love big caches in the bush, and even more we love audacious caches....and this one sure comes up trumps....and yes, you guessed it, it is now on the list for a favourite point. What a hoot!! We had a chuckleBig Grin. The more caches we find by this CO the more we are astounded at the imagination and effort that goes into so many of his hides.

Thanks again for another beauty CPwanderer[^][^][^]

Finished the Mega geoart, and now out to Monarto on our second wind. Have just walked the ToaT series, and now turn our hand to this collection. An easy if not brassy hide Big Grin

Thanks CPwanderer for the cache.

[center]8206. [green] Didn't see the arrows on the ground. Didn't need to. There were a huge pair of brass objects on display in the hiding of this cache. Managed to spy this from a good distance away and fearing a decoy was pleasantly surprised that it was the genuine article. Brilliant and brassy!

Thanks for the cache [blue]CPwanderer[/blue] and the subtlety.[/green][/center]

Today I was leaving Murray Bridge and heading back home, but not before collecting a few more smileys via a walk in the park. I had to laugh at how obvious this cache was. I originally posted a DNF on this cache to see how the owner would react.

My thanks to CPwanderer for the cache.

Out on a Sunday drive on a beautiful day. After checking out flowering native plants at an arboretum near Wellington, I then travelled to this area rich in geocaches....and sleepy lizards it seems - saw 10 or so on my walk around the nature park. I secretly signed the log after finding a suitable way in to GZ. Nicely hidden. TFTC CPWanderer

We finally had a day break from the rain so Darknstormy and i decided to head out on our normal Sunday caching day and talk a nice stroll around Rocky Gully. We were blessed with many different cache types today and i cant say that Ive found 5 different types in one day before. Hehe Really secretly hidden or just secretly hidden? :p

After 2 and a half hours of bush bashing, hill climbing , rock hopping and walking we returned to the car very happy with what we have accomplished for the day and very happy with the great standard of caches we have found Very Happy Love the effort and Thanks for bringing us here CP wanderer Very Happy

25-Aug-13
Had these caches on our list for a while, but was waiting for a nice weekend to do them. The sun was shining in Adelaide so we set off just before lunch.

Arriving at the car park the clouds were looming.. But it was warm enough to take the jackets off.

Great 2 1/2 hour walk through the park, only missing 3 caches that were little be further in the distance.. Legs were to tired to get them today. Even got a STF in this park today that was a surprise as we opened the log. It was a day of many cache types.. We had at least 1 of the following - Letterbox, Multi, Puzzle, Traditional, and Earthcache.

Now where is this cache?? we had terrible trouble finding this one :p

Thanks for the cache CPwanderer Very Happy

Love it. More finds should be like this. Especially the nanos.
Didn't stop me from snapping a pic of Mr Wibble having trouble finding the cache though (attached)

Out with 4 of the 5 today plus 1 newbie. 5 new caches had appeared in Rocky Gully since I was there last and I couldn't think of a better introdution to geocahing than a 10 km hike through this lovely park collecting the now 18 varied and fantastic caches. Cool So some will be new logs for me and some notes that the cache has been checked and okay.

No trouble here either. The camo is fading making it actually harder to find? Thanks CP Big Grin Dropped in a traveller.

Mr Tardis was on a 10km wander through the reserve with CPwanderer, froghoppin and spidermonkey9 on a lovely Saturday afternoon.

A really great hide sure to bring a smile to many faces. I'm impressed this cache won an award for best camo! It certainly does challenge the definition of cache camo - that's for sure.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

29-Jun-13
Hahaha....what a beauty. We had heard about this one....

Found while on tour of this gorgeous park with the CO and his merry men, Mr Tardis Trio and froghoppin and a muggle. It was a beautiful sunny winter's day, perfect for a 9km wander around a park before a dinner event.

We certainly worked up an appetite for dinner, and the little one earned herself an adult dessert. We had a great day out and were impressed with each of the caches being different. Thanks for the great hides and the adventure CPwanderer!

Owl had raced out of the house for her FTF, so didn’t come prepared with additional coordinates. Mrs Aussie M had, so they enjoyed a walk to a rather devilishly hidden cache. Don’t listen to any nonsense about Owl spotting the cache from 28 metres away – it was tough, took ages to find, is brilliantly cammoed and really needs its difficulty factor increased! (And if she can stop chuckling enough, Owl will hand out another favourite point!) Coming back for lots more of CP’s hides is a definite bucket lister!

Out with some of the usual list of suspects, Aussie M&M, 1/2 of Muff1,and CP. Taking on Rocky Gully reserve and part of the Lavender Federation Trail. What a day. 13 caches within the reserve and 1 just outside. Saw many roos, lizards, great views and even an echidna. Dropped of 8 travellers to entice some others to do the same.
Thought we might have to log a DNF. Kept on being blinded by some garish space junk that had obviously fallen here. Wink. Just kidding great idea for a cache. Most unusual and enjoying our walk. You get a fav point from me just for the audacity to conceive and place this one. Thanks CP. Big Grin Dropped in a traveller.

We were caching with brisal5, Dennis from muff1 and CO. Had heard all about the huge secrecy surrounding this cache. The difficulty level and knew this would be like no other hide we had seen before. A dnf was not likely as orange paint had been used. That is the only clue I am giving. Great idea, and a great walk. Thanks CP. You get a favourite for this one.

A great walk in - haven't been through this area for a couple of years Cool.
Not sure it was wise to have the cache so exposed and painted in such a colour [B)]. It wont be long until it's seen by the US spy satellites and they come and bomb it using one of their drones, so time your visit carefully [:o)]!
Took Treasure Chest TB. Left movie camera. SL. Tin (non) podium.
Thanks CPWanderer.
PS. Was so concerned about the cache being seen, added a little more camo Wink.
