Sunset walk with Skyryser from our nearby camping spot. Lots of black cockatoos. TFTC The-Shredder
Our final bridge find for now. There were a few missing closer to Darwin, so will search for them again on our next trip
Today we explored Edith Falls and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

2 week holiday in the nt cross caching trip with geoparents who have come from germany for a visit.
Unfortunately 2 weeks go so fast and after having driven down from darwin to alice springs and uluru we have to make our way back to darwin for our flight back to cairns but not without finding a few more caches. ☺tftc sl

"No stopping on bridge". Good that this cache was not "on" the bridge : I did not even dismount my vehicle...
Thanks for showing me this location and the cache!

Sorry for logging late...
This cache was visited by me either during the one month (February 2015) of hiking/tramping in NZ together with Bärgegumperli or in March/April 2015 while on a bicycle trip across NZ and AUS.
We/I enjoyed geocaching a lot.
Hiking
Hikes:
- Abel Tasman NP: Motueka, Kaiteriteri, Marahau, Inland Track, Separation Point, Coastal Track, Marahau.
- Nelson Lakes NP: St. Arnaud, Hopeless Hut, Travers Saddle, Blue Lake, Waiau Pass, Thompson Pass, D'Urville Valley, Lake Angelus, St. Arnaud.
- Arthur's Pass NP: Mt Brown Hut, Styx Valley, Browning Pass, Whitehorn Pass, Waimakariri Valley, Jordan Saddle, Hut Spur, Arthur's Pass, Mt Aicken
- Bridle Path
The weather conditions were great for tramping almost every single day. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the peace in some very remote areas and the many friendly people we met on our way or in the different huts.
Cycling from Dunedin to Auckland
It is not my first tour with this bicycle (map with long loading time).
Places along the route: Dunedin, Otago Central Rail Trail, East Manuherikia track, Tekapo, Fairlie, Geraldine, Oxford, Waipara, Hanmer Springs, Jacks Pass, Island Saddle, Picton, Wellington, Homedale, Hutt River Trail, Masterton, Pongaroa, road near Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu, Waipukurau, Fernhill, Taupo, Whakamaru, Tirau, Hauraki Rail Trail, Kawakawa Bay, Aukland.
After one month of perfect weather (see above) I finally got what I had to expect: Some rain... And sometimes stron headwinds. That the route was not flat at all meant usually that the landscape is great .
*
Cycling from Melbourne to Darwin
Places along the route: Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Penshurst, Edenhope, Jervois Ferry, Sedan, Tanunda, Crystal Brook, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Uluru/Ayers Rock, The Olgas/Kata Tjuta, Mereenie Loop, Alice Springs, Karlu Karlu/Devil's Marbles, Litchfield NP, Mandorah, Darwin.
Along the coast the weather was often wet and cold. The small roads in Victoria and South Australia were very pleasant to ride despite a lot of headwind. This changed as soon as I reached the Stuart Hwy to sometimes strong tailwinds. That's why I had some "spare" time to ride a loop in the Red Centre. Further north
As in NZ i met some awesome people.
*
Guess what I did while waiting for a connecting plane in Perth?
Greetings from Switzerland / Gruess us dr Schwiiz
*There are a lot(!) of caches which I did not search while on the bicycle trip. The reasons are mainly:
1. Stopping slows if one wants to get somewhere, especially on bridges where no one wants to slow down a fully loaded touring bike. Yes, there were quite a few days with >200 km on the pushbike...
2. Riding or resting next to a loaded (recumbent) bike attracts in some areas so much attention that stealth mode is not possible.
3. On rare occasions I rode during the night. If I had to do that there was no time to search for caches anyway [:-(]
4. Some places I did really not consider worth stopping for a cache... Sorry.
Thanks for showing me this location and the cache!

11:07:00 AM. Was to be a quick driveby but had trouble extracting the log so had to return to our vehicle for a suitable tool. Log signed and returned. Thanks OzFlameHunter for placing this cache.
Excellent camoflage on this container, much better than some similar containers I've seen that stand out a lot more. Almost gave up on this one but spotted it at the last moment. T4TC.
Having found something similar and having one of our own caches much like this one made it a quick find tftc

Found this time. Tried this before with no luck. Seen some of these in our travels and knew what to look for this time. TFTC.
Day 6 of my trek up to Darwin for the V8 Supercars. Today took me from Mataranka to Darwin. TFTC.
I found the cache on the way to Katherine and further to Mataranka. It was in the opposite direction and the road was directionaly divided, which involved turning round and then back again. It took some time, but finally the ingenious hide gave in. TFTC
My Sundowner found thus while I waited in the motorhome. Tricky little find tftc
Back on the road again today after a couple of days relaxing at Edith Falls.
This is the first cache of the day, it blended into its surrounds beautifully.

On our way from Perth to Darwin we saw many great things and places - many of them thanks to geocaching! We thank the owners for sharing their favorite spots with us by hiding their caches!
Looked both sides of the highway and even in the middle, and wasn't able to find this one
Searched and searched, but came up with nothing. On the plus side, there was a huge flock of black cockatoos around which provided us with a great deal of entertainment and photographer's paradise moments. Thanks anyways.
Had a look twice today for this one-on the way up to pine creek and on our way back. I see everyone else could find this one-but we couldn't. Found 2 and 3 but no luck for 1 today. Will try again another day.
On tour from Melbourne to Darwin and beyond using our fantastic game as a self guided tour .
Thankyou for your cache contribution as it made for a memorable road trip - tftc .

Heading north towards Darwin, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
A hot afternoon, so we decided to keep travelling rather than sit around in the heat.
Plenty of parking, an easy find.
Thanks for the cache, OzFlameHunter.

Finding the cache wasn't a problem. Getting the log out was!! ***Do not attempt the cache without tweezers!*** TFTC
Katherine - Pine Creek
This is the 1st of A Bridge Too Far that we hope to find
Thanks OzFlameHunter

On a Trip to the top end for the V8 Race weekend 14 days of driving and racing
Safely parked off the roadside, I wandered along behind the barriers to GZ
At least here, you only have half the traffic to worry about [^]
I spied the cache almost immediately
Oh I do love these containers [:X]

Our last day in Katherine before going home to Kununurra tomorrow morning, we decided to drive up and find some caches near Edith Falls, took us a while before Mr Bushies2 found it, we have seen that type of cache before. Thanks OzFlameHunter for a clever hide.
Quick find on the way to Darwin to a cousins Wedding why not do some caching on the way. TFTC

Nice easy drive by especially when heading in the right direction - homewards bound! The first in this great series ticked off the list - but still have a few to complete the series T OzFlameHunter 4TC
Finally got around to finding #1 in the series. The water was pretty high, especially on the lower bridge. Not hard to see how it was washed away with the train a little while ago.

We have loved this series. The thought and difference in each hide have been appreciated. Although we still have two to do this one gets a favorite point as it is a great hide on the first of a great series. TFTC
Almost left without this one then decided to take one more look and yes it paid off. Nice hide. TFTC
DNF Just when we thought we were on a roll! Will have to come back to this one. Thx OFH.
Does it count as FTF if I log if before the Poss does?
Nice little hide OFH, hint gave it away though - took us longer to get the log out than to find the cache.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!! my first FTF =D
Nope Puss, it doesnt count as a FTF for you, sorry lol. The real challenge here was extracting the paper, luckily someone carries tweezers. =P
'preciate the cache!
He that cannot forgive others breaks the bridge over which he must pass himself; for every man has need to be forgiven.
