Thank you Tufty for organising and presenting this event! We only downloaded GSAK a week ago, so we learnt a lot today - now we just need to start using GSAK properly and putting all that we learnt into practice.

Helpful and informative presentations, and a pleasant social occasion together made this GSAK Day a great event. Thanks for organising it.
Got some new ideas. Good thing I go back to a winter and have time to spend at the computer.
Thank you for organizing this.
Thank you for organizing this.
I had fun in modifying and amending previous presentations so that all three flowed on from one to the next. They are now available for downloading from my dropbox.
Thanks to FMZ for the loan of the projector. Thanks also to the helpers at the start, middle and the end of the day. Couldn't have done it without you.
Cheers,

Thanks Lou for all your efforts.
Thanks Lou for all your efforts.
Great event, thanks Tufty, I learned heaps and nice to meet some more fellow geocachers.
One half of the team was in a jetboat on the Whanganui River to get some FTFs and the other half of the team, unfortunately the sick half, came along to the event in the morning to lend a hand setting up. She couldn't stay long though and went home again to go back to bed. Hope the rest of the event went well, and we'll be in touch to get a copy of the handouts (and to get the projector back). Thanks for putting on this event Tufty. TFTC!!!
Wasn't able to make the morning session but turned up at lunchtime and went through the afternoon one instead. Picked up a lot of tips for GSAK at a previous skills event but came away with even more again this afternoon. This is a great tool and thanks to Lou for taking the time to run us through it some more. TFTE
cool, great opportunity, unable to get there till later in day, thanks Lou, will email for electronic copy of your notes. Clarkie, Brett
Many thanks Lou for a great GSAK presentation, enjoyed the sessions and learnt a few new tricks.
Well done. Looking forward to your next presentation on GSAK Macros to sort out all those challenging challenges.

What a great idea for an event. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and tricks of the trade. I'm an excel lover but after today I see it would be more efficient to start using the great filters within GSAK to track our challenge finds. TFTC.
We could only attend the basic and intermediate sessions in the morning, but it was still very helpful. Thanks Tufty for your knowledge and assistance.
Thanks for organising Tufty! Learnt a huge amount and realised theres a great deal more i need to learn to make things easier for me. Will need to start putting what i learnt into practice and using GSAK alot more! Would love to grab those powerpoint presentations and/or any notes you have if possible?! TFTE!
For those of you wish to have a copy of my presentations and haven't done so already, please send me an email by clicking on my name at the top of the cache page and then "Send a Message".

We have been using GSAK for four years and still have a lot to learn. Looking forward to the opportunity.
You've timed this perfectly. I'm flying home the next day. I thought only we Swiss worked with this program since it's called Swiss. I know it could do a lot more that what I'm using it for.
