A chance to stop, stretch legs and grab a GC. We are heading to Mt Ive for the night and it's a freaking hot day. Need to stay hydrated so gremlindaddy filled up the water bottles for us while I went searching for thus GC.
Found this on our trip exploring our own state. We loved this drive! The Sturt Desert Pea were in flower and it was spectacular.
We are doing a lap of Lake Gairdner from Adelaide. We stayed overnight at a free camp 20kms north of here. This looks like a nice place to camp too. Found the cache easily, still in great condition.
all found on such a lovely adventure while looking for night one sleeping spot.
A nice surprise to find a path tag. Found enroute to Wudinna from Kingoonya. TFTC
Solo camping trip over a Few days out this way. Travelled from home (Port Augusta) to Iron Knob then on to the dirt and on up past Lake Gairdner on to Kingoonya, across to Glendambo and back to Port Augusta, grabbing a few of the easy caches along the way. Country was dry as a Dead Dingoes Donger, Track was rough with sand drifts, gibbers and lots corrugations an awesome trip and thanks for the cache/s
Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Mac & Missus (F=86 H=68) for the cache.

The compass on the phone has been all over the place but still found it dropped off a Smerf.
Found on our Googs Track and Gawler Ranges adventure. Not sure why the cache isn’t called triplet tanks . Thanks for placing it here for me to find.
This is one we found during our epic Googs track and Gawler Ranges tour. We were traveling with pest77, grumpi68 and missus, and DJT75.

Nice hide. Thank you for the fun from Sydney! We enjoyed finding this one (:
Our tour from Sydney to Ayers Rock took roughly two weeks. We can't reproduce which cache we've visited at what time any more. That's why we logged all of them at the same days, so don't be confused about that (:

We found this cache on our Northern road trip, which was to celebrate my significant birthday. We saw some great places, met some wonderful people and slept through some 3 dog nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and finding caches made the trip more memorable – Thank you and ……Joy to the World!!
What a great place - enjoyed a late lunch, safely off the road, which did have a few cars travelling and watched the birds - Thanks

Could the next intending visitor please replace the container - many thanks, Ian Mac
Unfortunately cache container is starting to rust and could do with a replacement. Sorry I didn't have anything suitable.Sorry log date should read 4 June not 24 June as today is only 24th and we were there some time ago.

Pa was not so worried about parking on top of the cache this time so I walked up towards GZ and soon had cache in hand. Unfortunately it is starting to rust and could do with a replacement. I didn't have anything suitable so could not be very helpful. TFTC TNLN SL
Third birthday find and still there, although uncovered. Probably due to the weather, there wat some heavy rains and a storm some time ago they told us. We camped alongside it, we started this morning from Ceduna and after 200 km rough road we called it a day.
Actually so nice quiet and peaceful here and only 3 cars spotted the whole day. Thanks for this beautiful place. Grtz Ducteam.
Ps road is in a very good condition, taken we have a 4WD and took our time, also for looking around and seeing Roo's, Emu and a lot of different birds and of course due to the side seeing

The cache was the icing on the cake !!
This is a great campsite if you happen to be traveling through, but it was still a bit early in the day for me to call it quits and put up the tent

Our maps have this as Heirn Tank (singular), but our eyes see three tanks, so where do does the twin come from [?].
Firesafe made this a drive-by . TNLNSL.
Looks like a nice place to camp [^], but we had more miles to make before stopping today .
Thanks again Mac & Missus.

Found with the fun and company of the Goog's Group on my getting reacquainted with Goog's Track trip. I'd last been to Goog's in 2003 so the revisit was well overdue. Dunes, corrugations, lizards, birds and beautiful country was the reward. Weather was mostly perfect, as were the campfire meals and star bounty at night, every night. GG members included M's Piggy (Babe), Tk2, Disk, Team Waldron, Gum-Ako, FireSafe, honeysucker and Freddo. Thanks for their amazing company under the many clear skies we had

Despite it being early in the day, we decided to make this our campsite for tonight, and a good one it was. The whole cache contents were soaked through, probably from condensation in the tin, so we left them out to dry overnight before re-hiding it in the morning. TNLN. Thanks again Mac & Missus.
Boxer found this cache whilst travelling with a group of Vietnan veteran mates, on what we called "Pedros toughen up tour."We travelled west to Ceduna and then north up Googs track, which was a real adventure on its own.We then headed east to Tarcoola and then south to Iron Knob, then home to York Peninsula. We slept under the stars, taking six days to do the trip. Finding caches along the way was a bonus and it gave us a break from driving. Thanks for the hide.
