Having found another nearby cache I decided to go for a walk and grab this one too. The geodog and I thoroughly enjoyed our walk and Chloe even pretended to chase a rabbit.
Thanks
Thanks
We went out for a day's caching with SuperPop around the Nelsen- Port Macdonnell area trying to clean up a few caches around here as well as enjoying a lovely pub lunch at Port Macdonnell.
This was another of the Big Little Event caches that we are slowly picking off as we didn't make it to the event but the cache have kept us occupied for a few years grabbing one here and there. We pulled up and followed the GPSr towards gz where again we spilt up and started searching in different areas. For such a big container it took us a little while to locate but that just gives you a better feeling of satisfaction when you add your name to the log.
Thanks again jgc3 for the cache.

Found with Liz and Bruce on a good day for caching. We appreciated the view of the river from here.
We ventured to Nelson this morning with Alansee to do some of the caches which we knew we would enjoy in this scenic location and we were not disappointed. We encountered emus and kangaroos on the forest tracks but luckily not too close up We found a variety of hides and thanks to jgc3 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
on route to the 8 Months to the event in Alexandra - Portland event. Overnight stop here at nelson on the Friday before event tomorrow. The tent is up, so off to do the last few caches I missed last time. quick find.
Decided to do some evening caching. A delightful drive and wonderful not worrying about muggles. For a change the GPS was reasonably accurate! Finding the cache was easy once we worked out the entry point. Nice views

Finding some more Nelson caches on the last day of the trip before going home. Thanks jgc3.
Beautiful day for geocaching, riding around Nelson on our pushies, good find TFTC
Found on the return leg of the morning's walk, Easter Monday, while Pickled Ginger did some kayaking nearby. Saw no one on my walk, as I think most people were heading home today. No swaps at this GZ, so after signing log made sure I dropped off a Viking (of sorts) and a couple of beans. Thanks for the cache in such a nice location. Happy Easter.
Catching up on some old logs

On the great vic bike ride. Got into camp early then set off to find some of the caches and explore the area with our bikes. Found some beautiful locations, and also some deep sand that we couldn't ride through, but had lots of fun. TFTC
Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.
Thanks to jgc3 and clear skies from TeamAstro.
A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
The mozzies were full on at times and it rained most of the first day.

Walking a little further on from the last cache revealed some great river views, such a beautiful part of the world, even on a cold winters day. SL TFTC So far 23 finds for August so the challenge is nearly complete.
Found on a chilly morning with Sorzach. The walk was lovely. Not sure I have done that before. Tftc.
Monday at BLE and after packing up, Dennisc52 and I left the campsite and parked his car. Well, mine was already dusty and dirty and his was still clean
Dennisc52 and I managed to achieve locus cache 25 times before we parted company and took separate routes back to Adelaide.
However I hung around Nelson for a bit longer and so, by the time that I stopped at Millicent for the night, I had gathered up another 19 locus cache smileys (with 1 DNF ), making this a 45 cache day [^]
This is a pretty area and so I parked and wandered in to these caches. A nice wlak in great weather and much more gentle than some of the walks over the last few days

#3495 Continuing our walk along this great location, we were quite surprised how large the tree at GZ was in comparison to its neighbours! The cache name is very apt . Once again The GeoPrincess came up with the cache without utilising a GPSr - perhaps she is aligned with the satellites instead. The well hidden cache is in excellent condition. Thanks once again to jgc3 for the cache is a terrific area.

Out and about for the BLE.
After a morning of driving around looking for caches it was time to hit the water and go for a paddle.
So at 17:43 I launched from Simpson Landing and paddled up the river for a look.
Went up to the bend just up from this cache and then headed back along the cliff edge.
I got to within 17 metres of this one in the canoe but the climb was just too steep.
I did give it a go but then common sense kicked in and I climbed back into the canoe and paddle back to a boat ramp by a shack and set out on foot along the trail for a couple hundred metres.
Nice views from up there and I soon had a cache in hand.
Thank you to jgc3 for this great caching experience.

B L E - “Boxes Left Everywhere” We couldn’t search for them in numerical order, but that’s OK . The diversity of scenery, some quirky hides and catching up with fellow cachers along the trail made it a most enjoyable series. The time and effort given to create this series for other cachers to enjoy is to be commended.
