After having tea with fellow cachers, Geomum & Geodad decided the night before that we would head out & have a family caching day today. We had saved a fair few into our phones for the day. This was the 17th one on our list. We had just been at the BBQ's down near the river for lunch. We had cooked up burgers & now on our way for the last lot we had saved before heading home. We are enjoying all these caches. Its a shame we didn't know about this event. Would have been fun. TFTC
to find geocaches while driving through the States of South Australia and Victoria is just 'amazing'.
On our way from Millicent to Portland we found a lot of nicely bidden caches ... this is one of them. Thanks for bringing us here and greetings from Belgium.

TFTC.11.50. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
Not worth saddling up the horse to ride to this one. A quick find was made only a few steps from the van. Thanks.
Caching is more fun by torch light.

Found this one during our month long tour of SE Australia. It is our intention to find as many caches as possible during our stay and as a result logistics dictate that this generic log will have to suffice .Hope the cache owners, to whom we extend our gratitude for their efforts, will all understand the reasons for this. All good wishes from us both.

Found on our leisurely drive as we make our way towards Murray Bridge for the Mega. Today we head to Mount Gambier and beyond....we were a bit worried when we wandered in here as it was obviously a bit of clearing and cleaning had gone on but cache was snug in its place. TFTC
A cache of insignificance I did see and speak to the horse, although it wasn't Mr Ed; I got no reply. Also spoke to the magpies and the Fairy Wrens. I thought that the cache may have been despatched with some recent tractor activity very close by, but it was still there, exposed and with somewhat dodgy co-ordinates. TFTC TN and Left a weroamin token.
Yeah another easy find after bypassing another couple in the series that we opted not to do as they are getting boring! Thanks anyway
Found by Mary & David at 1030. A dark coloured horse came up to greet us too. Guess it was the same one mentioned in the description, and has had many admiring visitors since. Our thanks to jgc3.
I was heading for Port Fairy for work from home on the NSW south coast, but poor boating conditions had put our expedition back a couple of days and I decided to drop in on family in Mt Gambier, I was now heading back to Port Fairy and caching (and sightseeing) along the way. This one was found after a short search. Thanks jgc3 for the cache
Rated: for Overall Experience
The horse was watching us, we feel so guilty shouting out "we'll be back" I wonder how many times he's heard that from passing cachers... A trip to Nelson seemed to be the order of the day, unfortunately we weren't planning on attending a BLE event but that didn't mean we couldn't find a couple (or a lot) of smileys while we were out this way! Found relatively quickly, TFTC (and the series) jgc3!
Bumped into Eudes last night, but unlike other Great Vic Bike Rides I was out on the road earlier than Eudes and found this one first. Took a few minutes as the gps was suggesting a different spot. Just made a nice change... TFTC
Onwards and eastwards on Day 2 of the GVBR, this was the first on the way over to Portland on this dingy old morning. I had this one in hand surprisingly quickly at 08:05 and was soon back on the way east.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks jgc3.

Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.
Thanks to jgc3 and clear skies from TeamAstro.
A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
The mozzies were full on at times and it rained most of the first day.

After not having any internet for nearly two years I am finally getting around to logging some caches that I did with Team Crackers a long time back.
We completed quite a few BLE caches back in 11-8-13 and I cannot remember them all now so apologies to the cache owner for the cut and paste log.
I am working off Team Crackers list for that day.
Many thanks for the fun Day

Quick find. Took a short break from biking remembering that j saved a couple gc's near Nelson
We were out with Super Pop collecting some of the BLE caches we watch the distance count down and thought we have to miss this one because of the double lines but as we rounded the bend we spotted a safe park and were soon heading to GZ.
we were happy there were no cowboys with or with out horses, even the one that visited you did not show up today. But that makes for a nice quick find and sign for us.
Again thanks jgc3.

In the Mount for the Goths dinner event and the Geozing Race and of course...caching Out for the afternoon with Aussie M&M and Mogni.
Missed the BLE event but picking up a few of the caches this afternoon. Generic logs but thanks to jgc3 for the series. Hope I can finish them next time I am in this neck of the woods.

Mark was sneaky and took everyone to the wrong spot, then Mary got out of the geocar and grabbed the cache. Thanks jgc3 and Mark.
Out with Aussie M & M and brisal5. Slowing finding all of these caches... one day I will be finished
Thanks

Was looking forward to the friendly horse I had read about in the logs and was disappointed when he was over the other side of the paddock. I called but I think he was a bit deaf.
After a while it looked up and came straight over. What a beautiful friendly horse. He is getting many more pats due to Geocaching. I wish I had thought to bring a carrot. I had half a sausage roll in the car but thought that might not be quite appropriate. Tftc.

Our plan for the day was to grab a least 20 of the BLE caches and go wet a line and hopefully land a fish or two. After lunch at the Nelson Kiosk the kids decided they'd rather go shopping in Mount Gambier than fishing in the river. As a result our tally ended up a couple short for the day. This was the last of 18 finds for the day.
Appropriately the horse in the adjoining paddock came over to the fence for a pat

Found while enjoying a few days down Portland way before everyone heads back to work and school. Today we opted to drive towards Nelson and collected a few caches along the way and this one took a little time to locate.

Met the owners of the horse in Nelson the day before who had met jgc3 when they were setting the cache. So it was nice to find this one on the last morning of the BLE.
And yes the horse was still there waiting for a quick pat, but as we had to be on the move and had no time for horsing around, we signed the log and moved on. TFTC
Hehehe! Neigh! I think he wanted to come home with us! Followed us all the way along the fence line and back to the car! He even let us have a little pat! tftc jgc3

Sunday at BLE and Huurtle, Dennisc52 and I set off to replace a cache which had been lost in the recent bushfires
There were a few caches on the way and, luckily for me, the boys were happy to head for Dartmoor where a couple of months ago in 40 odd degree heat while riding my motorbike back from Halls Gap I had stopped briefly, seen the nearby caches and just been too darn hot and tired to get any...... so today was the day [^]
Later on, we met up with Honeysucker and firesafe and continued caching until well after dark: 4WDing on dirt roads, beaches and through the forests [^]
A HUGE day of attempting 47 caches: 45 successful locus cache events [^] and only 2 DNFs
Sadly, I don't recollect patting a horse and since I do recollect patting a cow at another cache, I am sure I would have remembered a horse if one had been here

Found during the trip home from BIG Little Event with Cracka1. The stallion took a liking to me after giving him a rub on the nose.
The horse also greeted us, but we didn't venture over for more conversation. Thanks for the cache.
We saw another vehicle parked up near by with the BLE flag flying, so we knew we were close. The friendly horse at the fence confirmed it. TFTC.
Just as bon exclaimed "why is it called ride em cowboy?" the beautiful horsey trotted up to the fence for a pat! Then he didn't want us to go, following us all the way along the fence line back to the car! Tftc
Found this neat cache during BIG little EVENT. Our thanks go out to all involved in the event and to all who have placed caches for the event.
Our apologize for the late logs, and the boilplate plate logs.
Due to events happening in our lives just after the event, the logging had to be put on hold until now.
We had a fantastic time, met some new caches and even bumped into a few old ones from afar.
Many, many thanks to all involved.

Found at 2:06 PM GAFF5 in the company of Phetlern, Squalid and Ruralslicker. The horse here kept following us and wanting to be stroked. Very friendly horse.
Cache took a few minutes to locate, until Helen went back to a spot that had already been checked.

Found with Pprass, Squalid and RuralSlicker. B L E - “Boxes Left Everywhere” We couldn’t search for them in numerical order, but that’s OK . The diversity of scenery, some quirky hides and catching up with fellow cachers along the trail made it a most enjoyable series. The time and effort given to create this series for other cachers to enjoy is to be commended. The horse was there supervising proceedings today.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt jgc3.

Well our big adventure is up and running with lolfrog, pedal pushers jeffeddy on wards we go
#3503 We continued out of town only to find a couple of people loitering on the side of the road in a place that was suspiciously close to GZ. Nice to meet taz-bud/inkle at this location with the container already in hand - one of our quickest finds on the weekend thus far . Had a bit of a chat before parting again, taz-bud/inkle were endeavouring to reach 50 finds for the day with 5 to go. The horse was a no show though. Our thanks to jgc3 for the cache and another reason to stop [^]
Found this cache on our way to the Big Little Event. GeoMum hopped out to grab this one . Nice drive along this road. TFTC jgc3
