What a beautiful spot for a cache which deserves to be found. Thanks for showing us the area as we wouldn't have ventured in. Perhaps a hint might be handy as GPS was moving around all over the place. It was pouring with rain and we gave it our best shot but no luck.
Easter Monday just wasn't my day, this cache was my second DNF, after a good run(!). Not able to complete the mission, as we ran out of puff when I was bitten savagely on the calf by a fire ant, who decided to venture up my jeans leg. I would warn other cachers that fire ants frequent the area around this GZ, and they bite - hard! Thanks anyway, enjoyed the stairs. Off for some ice and a cold beer to drown our sorrows. Happy Easter!
Found by geo mum and geo son great find and great views decided to sit and take it all in. Found our 200th cache yay
A quick climb up the stairs and cache was soon in hand! Found following our PMR cave tour. SL TNLN TFTC
What a beautiful little spot. Stacks of Muggles around today enjoying the river. Thankfully they were far enough away from GZ that it didn't matter. Quick find on our S.E. Trip. TFTC
Well, what can we say about this cache location? Only that it is absolutely amazing!!!! What a beautiful place we never would have found if not for caching (our favourite type of cache!) TFTC jgc3, good spot!
While riding the Great Victorian Bike Ride, 610 km in 9 days from Mt Gambier to Geelong , I found 45 caches in my spare time. This was my 3rd. Found on 23 Nov. It was not quite where my GPS said it should be but a bit of further investigating payed dividends.
Found this one at 12:05 after lunch on the GVBR nearby. In a potential haystack area, the find ended up being relatively easy - thank goodness.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks jgc3.

On the great vic bike ride passing through this area. Found a beautiful spot away from the crowds to have lunch, then for a quick adventure to find the cache. Took some time, but eventually located. what a lovely river and area. TFTC
A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
The mozzies were full on at times and it rained most of the first day.

The has to be one of the prettiest towns in SA.
Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.
Thanks to jgc3 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

My last visit here turned out to be a DNF, coincidentally also on my way to an event, and this time around I feared the same thing was going to happen. Initially I didn't have my GPS because I spent quite a bit of time at GZ previously and thought I knew where to find it. Stage 2 get the GPS from the car and find the new GZ, well tree cover bad sats of just plain bad luck left me with a shifting GZ which I chased in every direction before it settled in the middle of the pathway. Hmmm couldn't possibly be here could it? Check size no not a micro so I extended my search in likely spots....Still no good time to break out the clue found a couple of spots that fitted the clue, but still no cache! Then just as I was about to give up I spotted a likely spot about 10 or 12 metres from my indicted GZ, even though it didn't match the clue it conceited the cache, which I had to return to the car again for my pen and stamp.
Glad to finally cross this one off the list!

This tiny town was abuzz this morning with fisher-muggles everywhere. Boats on the go and kids getting their lines tangled. Muggles creeping up on us, but we finally grabbed it! Interesting vantage point up here. Thanks for the cache.
Found on day 3 of our Mt Gambier trip. A very pleasant day caching with mogni.
After reading the hint we quickly made the find. This is a lovely spot. Thank you for bringing us here.

Found on a day out with Aussie M & M. I was able to just attend the BLE but didn't get the opportunity to find many of the caches. Made up for it today.
Thanks
Thanks
Some people are funny, when they are fishing. The doof, doof music blaring and kids making noise, very amusing, but they were having fun, as we were, caching. Top views on a sunny day. Tftc, tnlnsl.
Whoops! Late to log! Spent the Sunday of the ble down at donovons fishing in the river from our kayaks! Managed to pick this one up while we are there!
Found this while my wife fed the baby. It was night and I didn't see the steps. Climbed cliff instead. Found track on way back, oh well. Thanks for the c!
It was about 9:00 am when I turned up at Donovans
I stepped out of the geomobile to an idyllic scene.
A picture perfect image of a lone fisherman, on a weathered jetty, staring out over the perfectly flat waters reflecting the cliffs of the opposite bank
To complement the scene a few ducks swam lazily against the current, daring to leave a few scant ripples in their wake [:o]
All that was missing was the drongo in the hoon car with the 'doof doof' stereo turned up to 11 to squeal to a halt nearby and throw their fast food wrappers out of the window
It didn't happen [:o]
I had to pinch meself to prove I wasn't dreaming and that I was still in Australia
A short stroll up the steps and the view was just as nice and it had a geocache in the corner [^]
After that I wandered back down to the riverside and sat for a while enjoying the peacefulness

After leaving the event, headed up to the PMR caves and then to Mt Gambier. Stopped in to grab this cache and munzee. I made this harder than it should have been - coords may be slightly out, but it's not a hard find! TNLN. Thanks.
Another top spot for a cahce, we found this one while travelling back and forth to our camp site at Princess Margaret Rose cave's camping ground.
Thanks jgc3 for another top spot.
Thanks jgc3 for another top spot.
#3548 Such an idyllic little place but as always we took the hardest way to the cache. Logic would take you bottom to top but we did it A about as is often our way......it's all in the adventure right ! The other thing we do often is not only taking the hard way in but finding the easy way out .......so today was no different. A lovely spot to bring us jgc3 with some fisherpeople dropping a line in to try their patience......uh I mean luck! TNLN. Cheers [^]
Last day in Nelson after Happy Pants headed home this morning... Decided to grab some caches whilst attending the Big Little Event...
Made a nice straight forward find...

Found on our trip to the Little Big Event with Firesafe Hurtle and locus interesting spot
Sunday at BLE and Huurtle, Dennisc52 and I set off to replace a cache which had been lost in the recent bushfires
There were a few caches on the way and, luckily for me, the boys were happy to head for Dartmoor where a couple of months ago in 40 odd degree heat while riding my motorbike back from Halls Gap I had stopped briefly, seen the nearby caches and just been too darn hot and tired to get any...... so today was the day [^]
Later on, we met up with Honeysucker and firesafe and continued caching until well after dark: 4WDing on dirt roads, beaches and through the forests [^]
A HUGE day of attempting 47 caches: 45 successful locus cache events [^] and only 2 DNFs
With so many geocachers in the area and a finite number of caches, it was to be expected that we would bump into other teams again and again. MoorooducRobbos and Debs22 were here as well and so while chatting and walking we went straight past the cache and the boys had to set us back on task and informed us that we had to walk back downhill to GZ

Did this in the company of pprass, phetlern and rural slicker. It's always a race to see who will get there first - phetlern had the honour this time. It's a lovely spot here - quite a few people fishing etc today. TFTC.
Found with locus cache, Huurtle, Firesafe and Honeysucker during the BLE event. Thought this was going to be an easy climb - wrong!! TFTC.
Locus Cache, DennisC52, and myself joined up with FireSafe and HoneySucker to continue caching. This time on our way to Beaker's 'Border Bottom' cache and Margaret Rose Caves area....

We parked at the top, scurried down the grassy bank, climbed the steep steps, then followed the cachers' path straight to the cache. TFTC.
We had some time to spare before the Beatle concert soI though we would go out and check ou the other side of the river.
Here we are in a time warp.
We seem to be gaining and losing half hours.
This one gave me a merry dance as I walked straight past the stairs Doh!

We're in Nelson for the Big Little Event over the weekend. A quick trip into the Mount for some supplies and a few caches along the way...
First stop for the day and the Wenches enjoyed sitting on the jetty as I trekked uphill to GZ.
Thank you jgc3.

This was a tricky one, but we got there in the end.
Another finder headed up the path as we headed down. We got the nearby munzees and explained to the fishing folks why we were upside down under the tables. They were interested in our wacky past time.

Stopped off on the way to the Picnic by the River Christmas event. After wandering around the car park scratching our heads for a while we finally gave up and read the hint. So we then toddled about 15 or 20 metes away to where the hint indicated this cache should be but we still turned up nothing after a thorough search.
