the lid of this cache is broken and being a specialised container we had no replacement suitable.
After 2 DNF's got our caching mojo back here and a quick find was made. A large snake crossed the road only 20 metres from GZ while we were here. Thanks.
We headed out for the day, sun was going to be shining. Had nothing else planned so a day out caching was in order. Lunch in Port Mac & a swim too. We had a great day out today. We sure do miss geocaching & so glad the weather is getting better for us. Quick & easy find today. TFTC
Found on our "Making Memories" tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Mount Gambier and surrounds with Whitewebbs using geocaching as our guide.
Many thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

Found with Tassie Trekkers while caching around Mount Gambier. Left pathtg. TFTC.
Scared the daylights out of me! I'd rolled the hire car slowly along toward GZ, stopping pretty close, and the area was deserted and silent. The Marble grabbed the cache, and as she passed the book to me, a muggle appeared literally out of nowhere and peered curiously at us! I jumped a mile, and couldn't believe I got muggled out here, of all places. And yes, there was both beach and sand. TFTC, jgc3. =^.^=
Just our luck to have a muggle walking her dog come by as we were beginning our search. She gave us a curious look, obviously realising we weren't locals, but continued on her way leaving us to find the cache in peace. Thanks jgc3
A quick find and sign as GeoKeegs not impressed with the ripe smells of the beach today. TFTC
Found no worries today. wonder if this container is the same as BLE48?. Thx jgc3 for the hide.
A trip to Nelson seemed to be the order of the day, unfortunately we weren't planning on attending a BLE event but that didn't mean we couldn't find a couple (or a lot) of smileys while we were out this way! Found relatively quickly, TFTC (and the series) jgc3! Honestly this must have been our first ever sand find, were a little nervous when we arrived at GZ but all was well! Decided to move a TB along with us!
Picked up geocoin .. will log .. left copy if my trackable as has been lost by hawkz25 ..
The cache didn't take too long to locate, and soon after we discovered that this region has the worst mosquito infestation we've seen in long time. Unfortunately we couldn't get out of there quick enough. Apart from that, a nice place for a cache hide.
Thanks jgc3

Found as I headed over to Port Mac for a day of trail riding.
A pretty place on this cool clear morning not long after sunrise.
Thanks

There was a very thick layer of seaweed totally covering the sand, and boy did it smell bad! Don't think I'd like a holiday house here. Apart from that - all good. Thanks for the cache.
Found on day 2 of our Mt Gambier trip.
We thought we may have had our 2WD in a bit of a pickle with this one, but thankfully there was enough room to turn around.

#3606 We had the opportunity during the course of the weekend to so some beach driving but decided against it & walked instead. Today we took a short drive and saw the very reason as to why we are so reluctant - there was a ute & trailer parked there - we think the paint was holding the rust together . There were quite a few people fishing but they paid no heed to us. A great container for the environment. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely place jgc3 [^]
Travelled to the local area for the big little event and hence logging as many caches as possible in the next few days.

A lovely seaside stroll led me to the cache
The smell of something rotting is a bit overwhelming at the moment [xx(]
It was still good to be out in the fresh air

Found at 12:51 PM GAFF1 in the company of Phetlern. Finally a find after 2 DNF's in a row, which became quite annoying in this extreme heat.
Lots of people here enjoying the water with the small rolling waves.
Thanks jgc3

On a traditional, hot and windy, Aussie summer day we set out toward the coast with the Pprass team. The area wasn't quite so enjoyable today, even with the wind blowing there were countless pesky flies. It was good to have the log signed and get back to the car.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt jgc3.
