As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Cache needs to be replaced.
It will be a short while until i can get up to replace it. But ill fix it as soon as i can.

Nice lookout, but sad that cache has gone. Found a painted lid but no container.

Our last day of a long weekend caching, we teamed up and called ourselves CNSZ to save log space. Just a couple more as we head out of town. Sorry to say, not this one for us today. But we will be back.
Think it's been mugled. We were in the right spot but only found a painted lid of the container.
Tftc! And getting us to stop and admire the outlook. A nice quick find. Dropped of TB nemo. She like beatiful things, so I thought she would enjoy this beautiful view.
Thought I'd stop for a look anyway. Was busy searching through the ivy when an angry chicken rushed me from the pile. Scared the crap out of me!! Had a good laugh though.
Found a hornets nest which really turned us from the search. Beautiful view though.
Found on a quick break with a nice view! Grabbed one of the coins to continue traveling with me! TFTC!
Short stop on our way from Hahei to Rotorua. Dropped some trackables.

Together with Silli1310 we went today to Cathedral Cove. Afterwards we drove on towards Rotorua. Here we took the opportunity to make a short stop and stretch our legs. Of course we also searched for the cache, which we could find quickly. Thanks for the cache and sorry for the late log.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to New Zealand as well. We first visited the south Island, than we came to the north island. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
One of many caches found during our month long tour around the South and North Islands. I am on rations for caching but finding around 10 a day.
Thanks to all the cache hiders.
Today took us from Matamata to Hot Water Beach. TFTC.

Found on a blustery evening. The hint was helpful, the wildlife not. Now for the downhill slide. TFTC

From Rotorua we were headed up the Coromandel I stopped here to check out the view and because of the flock of chickens sitting by the picnic table. But not long after stopping i was checking for a cache. The wife who is a reluctant cacher was the one to find the hide and we thought this was an appropriate spot to drop off my own TB. This TB has already made it back to me from NZ once lets see if it can repeat its journey. Thanks Geographily
Found on our way back from a cache and cafe day in Waihi. Very blustery here today, but a clear view. TFTC.
Good spot, enjoying a rare visit to the area and much appreciated being shown the view here.

One of the first glimpses of the sea driving to Whangamata, good to have this lookout developed here, but oh the rubbish. So disappointing. Soon found with the helpful hint, thanks Geographicly.
Out for a final Night Caching Adventure with iamrwalker, IIhpgII, Kiwis69 passing through the coromandel before I head overseas for a number of weeks.
We set out from Hamilton at 6pm heading across the Hauraki Plains before making our way up the coast.
We signed as "HICK's" to save space in the logs.
This was the 2nd of the evening for me and was just the beginning of the fun and laughter that is team caching.

At an event I mentioned that I would like to find around ~150 geocaches during the weekend to be able to award my 5000 find to a special geocache in the states. YuGeo4 & yorkshirekiwi83 were more than happy to help me out overachieving this goal on Saturday. We met up early morning at 5:30am and started driving in the direction of Thames to tackle the Pony Express Power trail. We continued our drive to Waihi via Whangamata back to Auckland collecting drive by geocaches. Thanks YuGeo4 & yorkshirekiwi83 for an awesome day out geocaching!! Signed logs as "YAY"....
No view for us during this night time find. TFTC

On a caching road trip with alpenmilch80 and yorkshirekiwi83, returning to Auckland via Waihi, this one took a bit of searching in the dark, but we eventually located the cache. Log signed as YAY to save space and time, TFTC.
YeoGeo4, Alpenmilch80 and I met to head to the Coromandel and then Whangamata to hit as many caches as possible, in a fun filled day with great company we far exceeded our expectations of how many we would find.
We werent heading North, but we pulled in here anyway, great views of the stars, but that was about all we could see in the dark. Tok a little while to find but glimpsed it shining out of the corner of my eye as we grabbed it. Signed as team Yay

The Geocache has been re hidden near its original location.
It is such a shame that illegal rubbish dumping and freedom campers illegally toileting at this lookout has ruined its pristine image.
Future visitors please re hide this geocache well.

Wow sure can look a long way. Easy cache find on our way to whangamata for a week.
On tour around the eastern Coromandel It was great to get this as I have in the past logged a dnf
Heading back to Whangamata after a day out in Waihi. Legs tired from all the walking we had done.
Last cache for the day, just had enough light left to find without a torch.
Next stop – Fish n Chippy TFTC

Checked the cache today.
Have moved it half a metre from its original location, since the dead ivy was leaving it more exposed.
Still easy to find.

Nice view but ivy is not very healthy. Cache OK but could become a little exposed as ivy is dead.
Day 23 of our NZ-Road Trip brought us from Whakatane up to Hahei.
We found some beautiful Caches along the road and some nice spots.
Thanks to all the Owners for hiding and showing us some great Places.

On great tour with Lemmer in New Zealnd we foundamazing spots. Thanks for all of it. Flatrate
On the other side of the world we had an amazing experience while traveling New Zealand. Great impressions, lovely places and nice geocaches all over. Thanks for inventing and hiding. Lemmer
We stopped here a while ago but decided not to search as there was human excrement at GZ. As we were passing today we noticed the cache had been found recently so had a quick look & sure enough we were able to receive the cache safely

On a mission with Spiderhouse today. The purpose; to collect a handfull of caches so that a challenge can be completed.
The view down the valley was great, but not the pile of excrement sitting near the cache. Such spots are always toilet stops... just wish people would have respect for others. Poor Mr S had to retrieve the cache. TFTC.

Out for the day with Squirrel Nutcase. We were on a mission to fill in a few caches to qualify for the 37º latitude challenge and to introduce "The Squirrel" to the wonders of the Coromandel Peninsular.
Lookout!!!!!, a super quick dash across the road to the parking bay. Gosh that was a bit close.
Mr S found it eventually and also found an alternative log left by some desperate traveller. Euk.
Geomobile had a strange smell for the rest of the trip. Perhaps NZ should try what OZ does and put the occasional toilet on the roadside so traveller's don't have to take to the bush.
Thanks Geographicly.

Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below. Last find for the day, always driven past, never stopped. Today we had a reason. Thanks again for the hide. See its been moved from its old location, we may just call in and sign the new log at Christmas.

So close to Whiritoa, and one last cache of the day! The sun is shining, the traffic was light, the car got us here, life is good. Thanks for the hide, first time we have stopped here, not far away is the family of roosters, see they have survived another year. Happy New Year cachers
Yesterday was not the best caching day, but today we decided to collect 9 caches along our route. This was number 7 and the last one. After understanding the hint in the right way we've found the bin and logged the cache.

A quick find with good clues, thanks. I have often snatched a glimpse of this view of the sea on our trips up the Coromandel, but this time the cache enabled us to see the sea for longer. I love the way the hills - defined more so by the rows of trees - cascade into the valley that forges the view to the sea. TFTC
Stayed in Waihi last night and decided to return home via Whangamata to nab some cache finds today. Nice and quiet here today. Nice to get our another glimpse of the sea. Took a wee while to locate. SL. TFTC.
Great cache placement for a quick drive by. Finally has time to stop while heading the right direction. On our way to Whangamata to get a few newly listed caches. TFTCSL
Great view, waited for one muggle van to leave then a quick find, thanks for this one.
10.25am. On our way to Whangamata on a day that coincided with the Beach Hop convoy on it's way to Waihi. Muggles were in the rest area taking photos but the actual GZ was out of their sight so the find was OK.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Had to wait a bit until some muggles moved on but a fairly easy find once the coast was clear. Thankyou.
Third day on a trip up north.
Good weather until afternoon when some heavy showers of rain got me pretty wet.
Soon found this good cache.
