Found it! After leaving Broken Hill before first light this morning I started caching from Wentworth. Now zigzagging here and there around the Mildura area getting as many caches as I can. Nice little hide here! TFTC!
Travelling from Renmark to Mildura today doing some caching along the way, a detour into this area to pick up a few caches before we get into town proper. A quick find, all good at GZ, TFTC
Today we headed out of town to Wentworth and then worked our way back through Merbein and surrounds to Mildura. It was a clear sunny day, but wind kept the temperatures down and at time we were greatful to be in the car. Some lovely scenery was encountered from desert like scrub through farming land and the banks of the Murray. We managed Earthcaches, a Wherigo, multis and trads as well as puzzles. We also encountered a number of great cache containers.A busy but enjoyable day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Mebclever.**SKI Pair****
Another delightful day in Mildura and surrounds. It started out a bit chilly, near 1 degree on the dashboard. Again it turned into a fantastic day with blue skies, sunshine and 18 degrees. No complaints from us at all.We wandered about a bit today finding interesting caches and locations. Thanks to Mebclever for this hide, it was quite warm now in the afternoon.
Big thanks to Mebclever for placing this cache. Cache number 9160 on May 11, 2024

Back in Victoria after an epic adventure with the Puzzld crew. Now out with weirdobiker to find a few caches in Mildura region. Its continual rain with every path we chose a slushy walk/ride. Nicely hidden Mebclever, tftc
Vic school holidays so kids and I are road tripping to explore the Eyre Peninsula. Now it’s time to meander home! We grabbed an SA cache already, this is our Vic one and now we are off to NSW! Ha ha. Nice easy find here. Thanks for the fun and adventure!
Quick find here today with Deefa71 on a long drive from Broken Hill to Renmark

It’s in great shape still.

All the recent rain and the current high river locally cancelled our long weekend away, so exploring some caches closer to home today!
This one was a quick find solo while the geokids and hubby watched me scout around GZ before making the find! Retrieval was fun!

Found by Mary and David at 11:35. We have loved this area. Hope we can drive across to WA again, it's a great trip. Dropped off "Signal Tag - Motorbike" TB. Our thanks to Mebclever.
A nice tricky one and I discovered the easy way to extract it after I tried the hard way : ) TFTC
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful day and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Full time nomads visiting Mildura to finally tackle the Paddle Steamer with iluvtrekking. Of course we have to stop in town and find some caches here before we go 'bush'. Great weather and a fun day out today, good company with lots of laughs and ooh ahhh at the clever caches we found. Plenty of fave point to give out today.

A good spot for a cache.
This was found on part of an 8 EVENT MADNESS in 3 state trip with four-fun. We cached, we kept hydrated, labbed, swagged and we paddled. Most of all we met lots of people an made new friends.
Thanks to Mebclever and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]

Day 7: SA/Vic Christmas holiday trip
Last Christmas holidays, fitzy_1965 and I (along with two geo-kids, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1) headed to SA to visit family whilst we could, and to collect as many counties and caches as possible along the way. We decided even before getting home that we needed to go back. The added incentive of more On You Bike series sealed the deal. Fast forward through 2021 (because who wants to remember that), and here we are again. This time with extra company in the form of Sol de lune, Smittengranny and albida33.
Today we were out to finish off the Paddlesteamer Series. We headed to the far end to drive with our backs to the sun. A much nicer way than what we had done yesterday. Once finished we headed into Mildura for a few more caches before a nice dinner at the Mildura Brewery Pub…. One of the few places open on a Sunday. Tomorrow we head home.
All caches were signed as FMSS and were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

26,580. Found with minniek, Sol de Lune and Smittengranny during our post Christmas / New Year trip over to South Australia and Victoria to tackle the On Your Bike and Paddle Steamer series among many other caches.
Today our aim was to complete the Paddle Steamer, then grab a few more caches around Mildura before a relaxing dinner to celebrate what has been a fantastic trip. Signed as FMSS. This was another long hot day.
When minniek and I were in South Australia in January this year (2021) doing the On Your Bike series of (then) 100 Wherigo caches, we were talking to the CO who mentioned that a whole lot more were soon to be published, and they were - 512 more ! So once back home we set about solving all those new ones which was at least something to do during 'stay at home' orders effecting us. Then once they were all solved we planned a trip over to grab them. Then just to add to the fun the latest 152 were published just in time for us to spend time solving them all so we could get the whole set. With our caching friends Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 this series was our main aim, but with the 'Around the World in 81 caches' series, various solved puzzles and the Paddle Steamer as standby if we got the time.
We managed some BIG days caching and finished off the On Your Bike series in three days, then attempted the mammoth 'Around the World in 81 caches' series and some lovely high/rare D/T caches - all in searing summer heat peaking at over 40 degrees ! Once they were finally completed we headed over to the Mildura region for another two blistering hot days doing the Paddle Steamer series. After camping for five nights we finally relented and got hotel rooms for the last two nights and worked the air conditioning to the bone.
All in all an amazingly fun time was had, and we have all made room in our calendars for when the next part of the On Your Bike series is published - no pressure ! Highlights included many of the fun tree climbs, the pole caches which increased our skills at the recovery and replacements of those styled caches, and the relaxed times and banter around the camp site at the end of each tiring day - including New Years Eve !
Thanks to all the COs for contributing their caches to our fun times, and I must apologise for the generic logs as we did find well over one thousand caches which now require logging !

Another hot day in SA and Victoria as Sol de Lune, Minniek, Fitzy and I continued our caching expedition to make as many finds as we could in this wonderland of caches. I can't believe how many we actually found with no DNFs eventually, even though we replaced a couple and had to visit some GZs twice to ensure we had no sad blue faces on our maps.
I am home again now and sitting in the relative cool of a local shopping mall. It was a most enjoyable trip and I thank my travelling companions, including Minniek's two sons for the pleasure of their company and their support and encouragement to keep going with over 1000 finds in SA and Victoria.
All logs were signed as FMSS or similar and I admit that sometimes I dated the logs as 2021 instead of 2022! I am sure that this will be plainly obvious to following cachers. Huge thanks to all the COs for placing the multitude of caches.

Really excited to spot a huge blue tongued lizard between the trees. Took a couple of pics before moving away to look for the cache.
Found the clever hide nicely tucked away. Dropping a FAVE here Short but fun outing today.

#4591 Heading back to camp in the late arvo we decided to check out the caches in this Reserve. Mr BGF soon sussed out the nice hide here. Glad there is no hands in a dark hole scenario required here to retrieve the cache . TFTC Mebclever.

In Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire.
Today was My last day in Mildura, I finished off any solved puzzles I had to do and a few other caches I passed by, once they were done I followed the Silo Art trail down to Rupanyup and then across to St Arnaud to do the labs there.
Thanks Mebclever for the cache.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity. We signed most logbooks 'B.E.F.W.'
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Another fun find today , have a fav .... Ashame about the junk around could do with a CITO event
Found as we were about to turn North and head over to Wentworth. While GZ was easy to find the cache was certainly well hidden from passing muggles. Would have been good to go for a cruise around the reserve but not much time up our sleeve on this trip. Maybe next time, thx Mebclever for your caches.
Enjoying the drive to find these caches as such a lovely sunny day with no wind! We sure found that the cache was very low indeed but thanks to a thoughtful CO who made it easier to retrieve the cache container.

Left Adelaide heading for the V8's at Winton, what a better way to seek a few Yellow faces along our route.
Some have been interesting as others not so, but without having a go we wouldn't have been brought to those special places in the Geocaching World.
Had us thinking for a short while.
Thank to the CO for maintaining these hides and getting us out of the car.

An opportunity to attend 3 events in 3 states in 1 day [|)] saw Rex and I driving to and from Mildura for the weekend [^]
Muggle partner came up from Adelaide too for the weekend
Over the weekend I found 41 caches, had 3 DNFs and attended the 3 events
Sadly one of the main caches that I had hoped to find was not attempted because apparently geocachers are NOT faster than speeding bullets
Seems there needs to be another trip back to Mildura too as I didn't even start the new turtle geo art
All in all a fun and tiring [|)] weekend with lots of driving!
Today was Sunday and it sure wasn't the day of rest
It WAS the day of breakfast in NSW, lunch in SA and tea in Vic[^]
Plus I finally got to travel on the Old Mail Road and find some of the caches there before we had to cut it short to get to tea
We loved wandering around the Australian Inland Botanical Gardens [:X] with firesafe finding all of the caches there and so did Rex
All in all a big day of fun [^] and frivolity[^] and awesome sights [^] spent with great people [^]
