No horse here today all though the small whisky bottles lying nearby may have been "White Horse". Mrs ABCDF made the find and pulled out a log that was saturated. Then she pulled out a 2nd which was in good condition. Signed and put back. Thank you for the placement.

Was on the wrong side of the bush. I entered from Baverstock Road and after I found the cache I realised you can very easily find the cache from a driveway off Gracechurch Drive. It's the big trees.

A nice little way to start the new year, doing a bit of caching. We had been just sitting around home after seeing in the new year the night before and got to the point where we just wanted to get out and enjoy the day. So, a little caching excursion was planned. We looked at some of the caches out in the Flatbush area which wasn't too far to go.

We got out of the car and started along the pathway towards GZ. As we walked, we also admired the views that were laying themselves before us, so we just had to stop and take them in. Eventually, we came to the spot where out devices were telling us GZ was. A relatively quick search, compared to the other searches today, and the cache was found. Another smiley face in this area.

Found it!! Saw it had been refreshed and left some goodies <3 Sadly didn’t tag name as we lost our pen! - if anyone wants to add us that would be sweet!

Put a new container & dry log at the location I found the soaked log & bag... Was def the left hand tree as per the hint but GPS was about 5-6m off

Nice quick find, but the container is gone. It's just a bag with a wet log now, too wet to sign. Needs a little maintenance.

Today we wanted to add quite a few finds for this calendar date, so we decided to come over to Flat Bush.
We parked up at the entrance to the park and made our way to GZ. The hint made for a nce quick find, and we were grateful for that here. TFTC

Out with TheMexiKiwi and our travels brought us here to give this one a go.

Nice and quiet as we would hope and it didn't take too long to find a way in to grab the cache and move on to the next. Nicely hidden, TFTC

Another day with good weather, so I made a little tour in Flat bush. I enjoyed my walk through beautiful parks and to some nice viewing points. I could spot all the Caches which I tried, which makes me quiet happy!
That was my first one today. Easy find here !

Heading home today after being out West and North on a great Auckland winters day. ....decided to check C:geo for any caches nearby. ....and spotted this one. ...ooohhhh and I know the CO. ...even better. ....being able to support a friend .....
Headed across the sodden grass to GZ and quickly narrowed down the search after sorting out which left it was. ..
The cache is all good.

On a day trip to Auckland today. After finishing my work commitments for the day, I had time to find a few more caches before I had to head to the airport and home. All good here. Cache found in the first place I looked, thanks to the hint. PPP - 256 - Uranus -> ... TFTC, Biggles,

Popped out east today to gather a few caches around Flat Bush. With no plan in mind, this park was the first we stopped at. Spotted the hint from the path, so quick find here, thanks. Picked up TB

Lovely sunny evening after work, brought the CB125, we'll consider it an iron pony, and tethered it to the driveway. The wet weather leathers could pass as jodhpurs. On a middle aged man? Moving on. Wandered along, and with the very helpful hint soon found it. Nice size container, perfect for dropping off mr purple people eater. Nice spot for it to rest for a while. Nice place. TFTC

I was invited to head out with C&D on another caching trip, this time to Auckland to focus on the hides in the Dannemora and Flast Bush areas, plus a couple of other cache clusters a bit further South. An early start meant we got the most out of the day with over 50 finds, on a wide range of caches, which varied the day nicely. I myself had no specific plan for the day, bar there were a couple of puzzle caches in the area which I had solved and was hoping to finally claim the smilie for.

All in all another great day out caching, with the weather gods on our side (bar being very wet underfoot in a few parks), some great hides and as usual great company. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.

Horse didn't fit in the Swift, so couldn't bring it along today. I went one way through the trees and merlot58 went the other, and I was the one to find the cache.

I brought my trusty steed Swift. A nice quick find while out in the area with Aiden29 and Supernanny.

My phone may have been a bit slow updating distances as we walked towards GZ but the clue was spot on, so we had the cache in hand without any electronic assistance.

Second to last cache for the day. Mrs beconaze was so fast that RWIMF and I had not even arrived yet. Quickly signed and returned. TFTC

Easy find

I did this one by myself as with the fence line and the sound of nearby stock we weren't sure Albert the geohound would be too welcome. Huan and Albert took a load off on some nearby picnic tables and I wandered up the path. Our caution was misplaced, there'd be no problem having Albert up there - also no problems finding the geocache thanks to the very clear hint.

It was lovely and sunny up here so I sat on the grass and had a leisurely look through the logs and a rummage in my caching bag to see if I could find some swag to drop. Dropped a toy soldier and returned services pin I had from Aussie, took a bright yellow ninja. Took the path back and looked to see if I could see the sky tower - DNFed that but not the cache - TFTC.

Sorry, I forgot to bring the horse... but I did however manage to bring the real genuine canine Sherlock the Puppy along to help me find this one. The hunt for it was going well, but was interrupted by a cat who Sherlock took off after into the nearby trees... however, once this situation had been resolved, finding the cache was quite a simple task thanks to your clear hint. Also loved the nearby spring flowers... So thank you UncleSamNZ for setting up yet another cache... I really do (as I have said before) appreciate your efforts in setting these out. Legend! TFTC!

Out with a group of West Auckland cachers who had found the nearby night cache. Well its getting late, the rain has at last started to fall, and its work tomorrow! So its time for one more find. I was on the wrong side, so made the leap to the other side, and not long after the cache was found. Thanks for the hide, and adding to tonights adventure

Out with a team of Westie Cachers. Decided that having found Uncle Sam's lunch box we should nab this one too. The heavens had started to open but we were happy to capture this one before calling it a night.

Found the cache together with ivss_xx during the Papakura tour. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!

While attending the Geocachers Anonymous meeting this morning, a plan was hatched to discover Big Bertha. So Team BMMR, NewlynFam, HeMaLuDy, darthcacher1 & purply descended on the area. While awaiting the HeMaLuDy's we dashed across from where we'd parked our car and nabbed this cache. Swapped some swag. TFTC!

After finding a few caches in the reserve over the road, we headed here for a quick find. Found with darthcacher1 and purply.

Enjoying a walk around the area this morning. Had to go on foot as we were without a horse but managed to find it just the same. TFTC!

Finally found this after being sent down too far by the GPS. Glad of the shade in the trees.Eventually located the beastie, signed and back to the car for a drink. Thank you for bringing us here.

This was a very quick find thanks to the very specific hint . TB dropped. TFTC!

I'm currently attempting a 50 day streak for the GIO Licence I am working on and as an added challenge a few of the SEAC crew are joining in.

I had very briefly attempted this cache in May last year but with arguing children I beat a hasty retreat empty handed. This time came alone for a super quick find. In a way I'm thankful I didn't pick it up previously as it was available for a day like today.

Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
I didn't like the slug on the cache I liked the swag in the cache, but we didn't have any trades on us, so mum left a $2 coin instead so I could have the penguin!

In the area with little miss NewlynFam to find another cache or two, and since we had parked so close to this one, we decided to find it before heading home. Got to GZ and looked at the hint- wow, that's specific! We were able to find it straight away as a result, although we had to be a bit sneaky about it as there was a random muggle just standing around nearby. Cache even came with a free slug although little miss was not too impressed by this! Sat down to sign the log and look innocent. Miss had looked at a couple of the swag items in the cache, and decided she quite liked the penguin, but unfortunately I had forgotten to bring my bag of trades! (yes, she did tell me off for this!) We decided that she could take the penguin, and instead we left a coin for the next child to buy an ice cream or something- thought this might be a fair trade!
