Our last day at Mount Gambier, before heading east, to catch up with muggle friends.
We enjoyed driving around the pine forest, picking up these caches, with only 1 DNF.
Cache was located after a short search, signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this series of caches, GoShaz, for us and others to find.

Staying in the Mount for the weekend. So started the day with the typical tour of all the garage sales. Even managed to pick up a few bargains to appease the caching widow back home. [^] That done it was time for mogni and I do get on with some cache hunting.
Still had a little bit of time before catching up with Beaker to have a go at the Perception series multi.
So mogni drove, I jumped out and quickly found these. Thanks GoShaz,

Day 2 at Mount Gambier. Once again we headed out into the forest, comming home by some more days of August. A tougher day out here, there has been plenty of rain & some of the roads are muddy.
Quiet a few had not been found for over 6 months, so with extra growth & falling needles it took some time.
Thanks for placing this cache GoShaz

Another clutch of caches out in the forest was just too good an excuse for a bike ride
The shades of green were numerous out in the forest.
But shades of a few cachers were also evident along the way
Looks like I started me bike ride on a good note.
The cache was easy to find after some negotiations with the local scenery
Oh why does OZ have so many spiky plants ??? [:o]

Staying in the Mount for night on our way to Melbourne for goedaughter basketball tournament. What better way to explore a city than picking up a few caches. TFTCs, this series/trail is very special.
Now camped at Tarpeena it was time to set out and explore nearby.
Not quite sure where to head we ended up starting out on the 31days of August caches.
Thanks for helping us to explore SE SA using Geocachingas a guide.

A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
The mozzies were full on at times and it rained most of the first day.

Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.
Thanks to GoShaz and clear skies from TeamAstro.
In Mt Gambier for our annual square dancing weekend and this year the xambo4u team are here also. Today we are heading to Glencoe for the launch of their book and to check out family history. Dodge the puddles? Nah! We went through them! Make it more fun and get as dirty as!
We had to dodge a few puddles to get to this one, the area is a bit wet from all the rain we have had. The cache was out in the open and was exposed so after signing the log we put it back and hid it a bit better.
We know the rizzos well, Mr UC has worked with him for 20 years.
I hear a rumour they are about to start caching again...
There were no cows at this cache
This cache is NOT affected by the forestry road closures

In company with the Pprass team, we spent an enjoyable day, caching around Mt Gambier.
An interesting little series for us, as we recognised the names and learnt more about the CO's whose caches we had sought over the past couple of days.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt GoShaz.

Found at 12:32 PM GAFF5 in the company of Phetlern. We have found that a few of Rizzos' caches have not been maintained. Looks like they stopped again later in 2012.
Regarding the "old days" - yes it was a lot of fun chasing one or two caches over vast distances. At events we all would have done "those" caches and we would have a roaring time describing our adventures. Now there are so many caches that it is very unlikely that 2 or more teams would have done the same caches. And there were no such things as blasted nanos [:(!]
Thanks GoShaz

Second stop on our list was this cache by one of our favorate local cachers, (pitty they don't come out & play much any more). Love this series top work GoShaz
