On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, a sidekick to Karijini NP, Exmouth, Coral Bay, Carnarvan, Geraldton, Ellendale Pool, Lake Indoon, Cervantes and the rest down the coast to Perth .Today there was no wind anymore and also no rain, so we headed for the pinnacles and to Yanchep. On our way a little bushwalk .TFTC# 17'428
Nothing like taking the long prickly route when there's a short easy one.. A quick find... TFTC FelixII.
Unfortunately, lid screwed on too tight for me to unscrew. Will send photo via message.
On our way up to Jurien Bay with BJA3 for the IGD weekend.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this hide for us and others to enjoy finding!

Visiting from the east and exploring Perth and places to the north over the next 4 or 5 days. Thanks to all the various COs for placing caches (or EC and virtuals) for us to locate, learn and explore. Signing as Team East+2.
Out and about caching today on our trip north of Perth finding caches as far north as The Pinnacles. Thank you for placing these caches. Signed log as Team East + 2. TFTC
We like a banksia. Took longer than it should have. Could not find the plaque

Brad and Janet are on another epic journey. This time it involves many of Len Beadell’s 6500km of roads including the Anne Beadell, the Connie Sur, the Heather, the Neale, the Gun Barrel Highway, the Gary, the Talawana Track, the Gary Junction Rd and more.
And of course a 2 day visit to Maralinga which Len also located, surveyed and largely built as he had with Woomera and Emu. An amazing man.
If you don’t know of him he wrote some wonderful books. Laconic with a dry sense of wit, they are an excellent read. They are also available as audiobooks as is a recording of his brilliant after dinner talk one evening in Shepparton. Worth a listen.
And now the Moon Tours trip is over we are heading back to Adelaide via whichever way takes our fancy after a few days rest and repair in Karratha. Almost certainly down the WA Coast before heading to Hyden and the land of the Salmon Gums.

First trip to WA and taking a trip North up the Coast to check out the sights.
Couldn't resist the urge to stop in and grab this one on the way through.
It has been raining most of the afternoon, so the approach to GZ was a little damp, but the cache was soon in hand, signed and replaced as found.
Great opportunity to stretch the legs as well!! TFTC

Enroute to Cervantes today. Finally head north from Perth - and that’s after travelling 3500km from home-base over in the east. A well timed stop for a cuppa and tribute to Sir Joseph and the banksias. Really impressive arty sculptures but NO plaque - looks like it’s gone. TFTC - all good today and a fave for the invite to stop.
Great to be able to Wander Out Yonder.
Catching up on logging a few caches while I have 5 minutes on the computer.

Found it but so hot and lots of overgrown brush. We took a picture if you want to see proof.
Meandering our way up the coast to Geraldton, collecting caches along the way. We haven’t visited some of these coastal towns for many years, so it’s been really interesting what we recall when they were just hamlets.
Nice artwork here. It was a bit of a bush bash to get to GZ. I guess over time the native bushes have taken over. The plaque is also missing, which is a bit of a shame. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Heading north for Cervantes for the night, we took advantage of the caches along the highway to break up the trip. This was one of them. Have replaced the logbook.
Thanks FelixII for the placement.

Nice find there by Guiness12 as we make our way up the coast. Nice stop here. TFTC
On our way to Greenhead so thought we would grab a few caches along the way. TFTC
So off on a roadtrip to see the kids at Cervantes.. stopped again with fresh dacks and managed to bash through the bush free of worry of and much cooler weather at 730am. Couldn’t sign as very little paper in nano. Didn’t have my geo bag to replace BUT photo sent to CO as proof of snag. Glad to have the yellow smile on my map.
Caching up the Indian Ocean Drive on the way to Geraldton today. We stopped to nab a number of caches and for me, also tick off a number of LGAs.
Quick park and grab. Cheers FelixII!

Terrain Rating increased.
Due the hostile enviroment that has grown since the cache was placed in 2013

Found but totally unnecessary to have to ruin the environment and bash through prickly bushes
Sometimes I don’t understand cache placements. This was an unpleasant spiky bush walk when there any plenty of other more suitable placement spots. Maybe I’m just getting to old to do this
Nice little bush bash and much needed pit stop! Just the Turdler and I today.

After a week in Perth it is time to head up the coast grabbing caches along the way TFTC
Random geocaching on a weekend trip to Geraldton to catch up with Tessplus3 (3 grandies) on he way around Australia TFTC
Too overgrown to be accessible without bush bashing.
Lots of flies and Golden Orbs.

Lovely stop over here. There's Only a teeny piece of paper in there, actually needs a new log book.
Heading up north for a few days and this was one of my designated stretch the legs stops A few other vehicles in the parking bay today, but none near where I wanted to go, and thankfully no one at the picnic table Thongs and shorts not the best choice for pushing through the scratchy bushes but it was still a short easy walk. Cache was a very fast find once at GZ. Hadn’t realised the log needed attention; managed to sign the scrap of paper but this one could really do with new paper. Otherwise no problems here - TFTC
Stopped to stretch our legs and found the nano.... quick easy find.... thank you.... I good read on Sir Joseph Banks
Nice stop to stretch the legs. Signed at GT - thanks for addinga smiley to my day
Headed north for a few days & finding caches along the way, we stopped to find this one
DangerMouse09 made the quick find here after we navigated our way through the scratchy bushes... We signed the scrap of paper in the cache but log needs replacing, if the next finder could do so!

From Yanchep NP we went to the Pinnacle Desert and then to Sandy Cape. We were again able to search and find some geocaches today. Thank you the owner for laying the caches.
Found while travelling to Perth with friends and family . Sneaky little find with nath&sam
Wow we haven't found a little one like that for awhile. We love these little hard ones. TFTC. SUPERNicholas13 out.
Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was from Perth to Jurien Bay.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'FelixII' for showing us this location and for the fun we had with 'Banksia'. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest.

On a 6 day trip up north to visit family in Carnarvon, and maybe exmouth, with my lovely girlfriend HR2990, picking up as many caches as possible, Thanks to everyone for hiding these caches for us to find.
Nice easy find. Sad to see lazy grubs are still using the surrounding bush to toilet in despite facilities being available. Signed Grubby at spot #38. TFTC
Perth Day 4: Today, we rented a car and took a long drive up to the Pinnacles at Cervantes, and then back down to Perth again, taking in all the sights and caches of the Turquoise Coast. The weather was remarkably beautiful and clear today, though it did get a little on the warm side in the late afternoon l. However, all that didn’t hamper the hunts one bit, and a good number of caches were found along the way.
This is the specific log for the cache:
This one was but a short drive from the previous cache. The location to search was figured out easily enough, and the little nano was logged in the bushes. All good here, TFTC!

We made a quick stop to pick up this cache on our way past. The path is a bit overgrown these days, but we still managed to get through TFTC FelixII

Pretty easy find. Think the trees have grown a bit since it was first placed, so the cache is getting harder to get to.
