Logs
Went looking for this Cache without 1st reading the logs, Could not find, so I then started reading the logs. I soon gave up and logged as a DNF.
Driving past cache this evening in the truck I saw a car had smashed right through GZ, it appears everything has been destroyed. I was unable to stop as I was loaded and on a time schedule.
I will try to find time to go out and confirm damage tomorrow and report back to CO.
I am hoping I am mistaken as this is a great cache and it would be a shame to lose it.

A quick find, cache was only partially covered. Returned it with the provided covering material in place.

17/08/2014 4:55 pm Find #3629 I had a TB I brought over from Australia that needed a place to stay for a while and this cache was gonna be its home for a while. A busy day with lots of cars heading back from the snow. A quick find and a few photos and we're done. Thanks Hello Mrs.
Last of the caches found on the way home after the Darfield event for Kids Fest by One Fang. Had just dropped off RuruNZ at her car in West Melton beforehand. Thought I was getting close and blow - it's on the other side so pulled off the road only to find this other car pulling in behind. RuruNZ had noticed me so together we waited for traffic to go past and then hurry across the road, a quick find, signed and replacement. Dodging the traffic again fearing for our lives at this time of night (just on dusk) we were off on our homeward journey as I went to check what was next up the road but the battery had died on the gps. Oh well that's it then. Home we go and leave them for another day.
Opps, nearly forgot to log this one - the last of a day out. The day started with 2 KidsFest events then several amilies with kiwicampnut before she dropped me back at my car in West Melton. We went our seperate ways - initially in the same direction. Several hundred meters ahead of me a car seemed to be going slower than the traffic ahead of it, then pulled over. As I got closer I recognized kiwicampnut (or so I hoped - had pulled up behind a car identical to hers on the way back from Hanmer a month or so ago and got out to see if all was OK - no caches along that stretch - only to find it was someone else on her phone. Opps.)
Pulled in behind as I realised this was the cache she intentd getting on her way home.
A quick find and soon back in traffic.
Thanks

Went to an event today and as I wanted to get the souviners I thought it time to catch up with my logging. Didn't realise it had been so long since I had last logged my finds online.
Came up to Yaldhurst to pick up a TradeMe purchase. Had all three boys in the car keen to find some caches on the way home. When I saw it was a Hello Mrs cache it was an easy decision to stop and have a hunt.

Quick pullover, dash out and find. Nice marker, far better than just a metal sign.

2nd of 21 successes on a day dedicated to caching between Yaldhurst and Arthur's Pass. A straightforward find. #313. TFTC.
I have driven past this cache countless times since it was published, but have been saving it for a dot day when I was working in Darfield. That never happened and so it was time to finally stop while on a mission to repair my caches down the road. Cheers Hello Mrs.
Was curious as to what caches were on my way to the event at Kura Tawhiti today. This was closest. Tftc
Final Day in Christchurch and a final early start to get in the odd cache or 12 before spending our last few hours seeing the sights before having to return the rental car and fly back home.
Its been a great weekend in both catching up with friends and family that we haven't seen for a long time, the weather could not have been better and plenty of fun caches, Thanks to one and all
Sounds Mmmm but no time to stop as only have limited time before I have to do muggle type attractions before heading home, maybe just one more cache or three

Been to Orana Park and taking the long road home so stopped off here. We were a little disappointed in Orana. I guess my expectations were too high.
This road was busy in both ways. Today being last day of school, there must be holiday plans afoot.
TFTC Hello Mrs )
