Found it. Needs to be checked and maybe replaced ?? Needs a new log book and lid ? But very easy find
It doesn't have a lid and no log book... sorry we didn't have any paper for put in it ...
Our first find for the day. If we didn't move around so much, we would love to place a cache on our property too (and rig up something to notify us when someone was attempting the cache .

Found the cache with no problems but with the lid missing last night's rain has saturated the log and earwigs are calling it home. TFTC Kyzo123.

**This is an old log. Found before the cache was archived. This is what I wrote in the gc.com app on the day** Night caching with Moneydork and this one popped up on the map. We had attempted this one before, but 2nd attempt was far more successful. Thanks Nighmare4000
After just avoiding having the car door lamed in my face it was a quick find, tftc
As it was pointed out by a fellow geocacher, I would be sitting on the ground if I slam the door in their face again.........................................,tftc
Thrown off the scent by neighbour but then re-directed by dad. Soon had cache in hand. Left Pathtag. Tftc
There was no sitting on the fence nor were there any muggles around for this find.
Thanks for the cache Nightmare4000.

Christmas Adelaide 2013. Today was a full day spent caching with Team Seedsman out to Outer harbour and back to the North east ion the after noon. I visited a few spots I have seen before and plenty of new spots. I even found an old DNF I had been waiting to get for many years, but there are a few new ones. Thanks.

I knew that I was close, but didn't realise this was my 900th find until I had got home!
Interesting location, and ended up being an easy find....
Difficulty came after I had found it .... house owner comes out of the house to say good bye to guests ... there I am on the footpath, trying to act casual ... yep, doesn't everyone stand of the footpath cache bag in one hand, GPS in the other? No where to go ... so based on the description and the guess that he was probably a geocacher, I just said 'Hi' and proceeded to look intently at the gps, tie my school laces, look in my bag ... next minute the kids of the house come out and stand on the footpath and wave to their guests as well .... I retreated to my car which was parked over the other side of the road a bit down the street ... maybe the guests will go soon and I can then sneak back and put it back in place and get out of here .... no such luck! Guests go, and the kids walk right up to where I had retrieved the cache from (which was now sitting on my lap in the car) ... and looked at the vacant spot where the cache should have been ... OK, they are geocachers .... time to go over introduce myself and put it back! They indeed said they were cachers, told me I had put the cache back in the right position and I then chatted to them for 5 minutes.

It was a great day to head down to LeFevre Peninsula and try and clear the map and I nearly did. There were some that required some walking and others that were park and grabs, but plenty of variety.
Quick find and sign. TFTC.

I was in the area and noticed that the description and hint had been updated for this cache
With that detail I decided to try again for this cache, feeling more comfortable this time.
Parked around the corner, undid a shoelace then walked the street to GZ. A nice quick find (thanks for the helpful hint) whilst I tied my shoe. Walked back to the car to sign, and then repeated the process to return.
Cache may need replacing as the lid is broken, but it still sits in place.

Easy find. The description and clue led me straight to the cache, did not feel uncomfortable with a quick "find, sign and go"
At the moment i feel no need to archive the cache. I plan on keeping it that way. As Team Waldron said: "If you don't feel comfortable DON'T DO THE CACHE."
It clearly says that its placed on owners property and if you must know the orange-red bricks are old and have been sitting out like that for ages. No one has been bothered to fix it thats all.
When you pull up in your car and dont like the look of the cache youve got 2 choices. Either find then come here and complain OR leave and dont bother finding.

Those red bricks have NOT been like that for ages, I have now been here twice and those red bricks have quite clearly been lifted up every time someone comes to find this cache!
The second time I saw these they were definitely sitting up like someone had recently lifted them, If you can't see that this whole area will get slowly but surely demolished, then you are clearly blind.
These archive logs are not personal attacks.
Please don't misinterpret them as such.
As I have written in my other note, there are ways of hiding things in ones own front yard, but this isn't one of them.

One of the worst placements I have ever seen.
Mint tin buried next to the end of two peoples fences as it hits the pavement on a quiet street. Bricks nearby have been pulled up and plants marauded.
NOT an appropriate placement at all.
Think of the neighbours watching randoms pulling up and pulling everything apart in search of it?

I don't understand why there is a need for the Needs Archive logs.
I've been there twice and haven't felt comfortable and have left it for another time.
It's been placed with the property owners permission.

Swung past here after the International Geocaching Day event last year with a group ... Sorry for the late log. Was searching the area and surprised there wasnt a smiley for it. TFTC
Located with Flipper&Co and Knightyme on the way to the caching event at North Haven. The logsheet was pulp but fortunately Mrs Flipper had a replacement sheet! Thanks Kyzo123 for the hide!!!
We were on our way to the International Geocaching Day Event and made an afternoon of it. Well it started out as an afternoon but ended up going late into the evening. This time Dr Owl and brisal5 joined us on a very pleasant caching outing.
Didn't find it and didn't like looking. We discussed it at the event dinner later in the evening and other people had found it that day. Still don't like it, but we will return.

Day 17 in a row for 31 days of caching in August. . Off to the International Geocaching Event with Aussie M&M and Dr. Owl. Left 3 hours early to cache along the way. . Stopped of for a quick 1/1. wrong. The owner of the house night door pulled up and walked inside..we think to call the boys in black. Searched with the clue but thought better of getting the fork and spade out for this one. You pwned us.
I'm sorry, I REALLY disagree with this cache.
On someones front yard, a tin, buried under leaf litter on a quiet street.
So many wrongs here, so so many.
I would strongly suggest you archive this and at the very least find a park to place caches in of this quality.

Found on a night out with Auntie Parislaura. It was nice to be one of the adults, TFTC
Found at 11:34:00 PM
Had some fun on a cold and very windy night with a group from the International Caching Day / Locus' birthday dinner.
Unfortunately we didn't understand this cache. The clue is totally accurate, so no need to be dislodging the pavers around the tree. This cache was found very late at night, but in such a tiny street, I'm sure there were people looking out of windows. Thought the 1/ 1.5 is a bit out too! Definately not one of our favourite caches.
Thanks Kyzo123 for placing this cache and sharing this area with us!

Still following a red car...ooo..it stopped again..and a cache too..the log book was very soggy, so we deployed cache karma here, and added one of the spare log sheets we carry for this sort of event.

Found this one with a group of cachers after the international geocaching dinner at the sail master, glad we had someone with us who had already done this one, because night time is not really the best time to be searching someones property with a flashlight. Does a geocacher live in one of these houses? Kind of strange otherwise for a cache to be placed here?
Found It!
I really don't see why you would put a cache here. The neighbours would be getting very suspicious as to what's going on. Not to mention whoever's front yard the cache is actually in.

Decided to hit the Port/Outer Harbour area with Knightyme to get some numbers up to hit the 500 mark, i personally hated doing this cache as i believe that i could be classed as private property, so many windows around and you don't know who is watching you.
On a caching afternoon with 3LG, nerves of titanium for this. I have to agree that technically it is placed on private property. And without an 'Owners permission' attribute, well, it is borderline.
That said, and to save you much time and angst, be sure to read the cache name, and the hint, stand back and look around, then read the hint again if needed, that should do it for most. It is what I did, and had it in seconds, after several minutes looking.
As for our personal camo? Made no secret we were looking for something, GPSs in hand, clear voices, Is it here? Perhaps there? ect, sometimes the best camo is to be fairly obvious ... sometimes.

Pulled up in a quiet street at night, fearful of making ANY kind of noise in search of something so elusive and inappropriate it was just ridiculous!
Bricks were pulled up, plants were searched on both sides of the tiny road and curtains nearby were opened.
We felt very exposed and like we were violating peoples privacy just being there.
Nothing to be found.

On a side note - if you really desire a cache out the front of your house, make an installation that is obvious to cachers. Like a locked box that is cemented in the ground but is camoed in such a way that we can go to it quickly without causing neighbours suspicion and our own feelings of anxiety.
Ya kiddin me - talk about raising neighbours suspicions of strange & suspicious activities. SERIOUSLY, a hint would be good to enable people to find it quickly and quietly without neighbours becoming alarmed and calling the ........., you know, stalkers and all that.
Found it at last! ...and well, yes, I concede I didn't need to leave the footpath to grab it. It actually was exactly where I was told it was, but I didn't look under the cover so it is well concealed. Had to wait for a local waiting exactly at GZ to move along, but after that I had a pretty clear run. Still uncomfortable with the environment but I've done it.

This is a 1/1 right? Been down here twice now, the second time with a tip on where to look, but no luck.
Maybe the instruction that one doesn't need to leave the footpath is inaccurate, but I'm not entering private property - there are rules against that!
