A beautiful Autumn morning caching on some of the tracks in Spring Gully Conservation Park and surrounding area. Many thanks for the hide S and A
I decided to take Friday off work to make it a four day weekend. The plan was to explore around Barossa and Clare valleys. Im not much of a wine drinker but there sure are lots of geocaches in these parts. I brought my bike along so I could tackle some of the many caches along bike tracks. A little cool through out the day but the sun was shining which always makes me happy. Yes I am a John Denver Fan. Found without problems. Thank you stephy699, for placing Holey Tree!!! for the geocaching community.# # #14951 # #
Gratefully we were parked on a hill nearby as our car battery went flat so when we got to this GC we did a quick 'leave the car running retrieval' on this one
Out for a few day caching around Clare Valley & beyond with Team Waldron - our acronym is TWX2
Lotsa fun had, lotsa trees & ladders climbed & lotsa kms walked

Away for a couple of days with TheWhiteDogGang.
We stayed at the free camping in Blyth and cached around Blyth, Brinkworth, Yacka, Spalding, Clare, Stanley Flat and surrounds.
Most caches found were in good order.
Not where you'd expect it to be.

Thanks Stepy699. Nice location on the way from the Cascades to Clare on the back roads. Much more pleasant than the highway. TFTC. TNLN. In good condition.
Back in Ardrossan for harvest work. Still very little work with all the wet weather that has been around so we decided to head to Clare for a caching run. Sunday all went to plan until about 3pm when the sky got black then the wind picked up and the hail and rain tried to blow us off a hill. Not to mention during the day a pigeon crapped where we'd rather forget [xx(] and Mr Felix got a very large splinter in his arm which took a bit of retrieval.
Monday we woke to the fact that it had continued to rain all night and was now freezing having gone from 22degrees yesterday to 10 this morning. [8] So we decided to tackle a few previously solved puzzles before heading directly back to Ardrossan.
We managed to find your cache on our sojourn.

Lovely weekend had in Clare with friends, so a couple of finds on the way home. TFTC.
Eagle needed to spend a day at Balaklava during their weekend away so Owl called in two friends to help pass the day. Sushilord and JJ52 joined her for a day of fun and laughter... and caching. This one was a process of elimination, with JJ finding what the Fish missed.
Doctor Owl was going to be in Balaklava today and she asked if sushilord and I would like to come up and meet her to do some caching around the area. It was a lovely day for a drive and we met her for coffee in Balaklava then headed to Auburn, Saddleworth, Mintaro, Sevenhill and Spring Gully before ending up back in Balaklava. [^]
We had a fun day driving on some interesting dirt roads and tracks thankful that it wasn't wet. All but one of the caches we looked for were found and we broke the day up with a great lunch at the Saddleworth Pub. All in all a great day caching.
We found the holey tree and looked in lots of possible places before finding the right hole.
Thanks for the cache Stephy699.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
In the Barossa, staying in Nuri with our good friends Snappy Tom Cats. HevWalker joined us for the weekend, so we devised an area around Clare that we had not cached, and they had quite a few they had not yet found. Set off with lunch packed and gps's loaded
No need for a hint here!!! Thanks stephy699

Haha - I checked the clue. More out of habit that anything else I guess. There was probably only a handful of places this one could be hidden anyway, so phone went away after the embarrassment of the clue, and geo senses kicked in. Wasn’t long before this (very easy) find was made. Back to looking before looking at any clues for me I think. Thanks for the reset, and tftc
Staying at Clare overnight enjoying the great hospitality of Mr & Mrs forghoppin...
We went for another day out and for a few more caches (for me at least)...
The day has become chillier but we continued with our treasure hunt...

Sorry about the Generic Log, Many found and many to log from a few weeks ago.
The usual troupe of a Rat, Adder and Starfish on their Wednesday day out, today up North. Thanks for all the caches although I can not remember them all. The logs of the others pretty much describes the hide, find and adventure. TFTC

Some members of the Puzzled Puzzlers group of puzzle solvers were heading out on another Wednesday wander in search of Puzzles and anything else that comes within range. Today there was myself, Anymules, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats on board and our ultimate destination was Clare or thereabouts. [8)] As usual there would be giggles, blood, probably a fall and some ripped clothing plus a lot of caches found. [:o)]
As we all searched in the wrong holes, Anymules chose the correct one and soon had the cache in hand.
**Thanks S and A for this cache. **
