No luck here but great spot where I assume GZ is.

Mr Tardis was out for a motorbike ride along many of the dirt roads, and "dry weather only roads" from the Adelaide Plains up towards Lochiel. Very dusty out on these roads, but that's better than boggy mud in winter!
This was the first stop of the day. After searching for a few minutes I found the cache in the logical spot. More proof that Mr Tardis doesn't need glasses. There was quite a bit of leaf litter covering the Sistema, but it is definitely still there waiting to be found.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish.

Another DNF to add to the list. Please check out Moneydork to save others from dnf's
Would not recommend for 2WD vehicles.
Got bogged and had to call the State Emergency Service for assistance.
In saying that, thanks to the State Emergency Service for all they do.

Today, with the Adelaide COVID-19 lockdown lifted, I decided to head north and target the *Australian Prime Ministers* (APM) Trail, and the *It's a Small World* 60 series. I swung by St Kilda initially, reminiscing about the playground and mangroves I once visited as a child, and then continued to snake my way north following the Prime Ministers, and visiting Mallala in doing so. It drizzled on/off for most of the day, and as the rain started to set in as the sun set, I decided to take that opportunity to head home.
I made the detour out to this geocache that was reasonably remote from the APM series. However, it didn't take too long to round trip it back, as I checked the time as I headed and when I returned; only around 10 min all up. Although there was some drizzle about, it was still reasonably dry, and so the roads were fine to access and drive on (not causing any damage to their surface). Once I was close enough to GZ, I headed up, and made the quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The creek/river here too was dry, with no evidence of any eater about. I did see a cool stumpy lizard nearby, and took a few traditional photos of him sticking his tongue out. Thanks Moneydork/Trigger_Fish for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out & about with geo hubby Animal62 collecting a few smiley faces for our maps on this glorious, unusually warm, 25degree day for the last week of August 2020.
This is definitely a dry weather road only!
We also had to park a little ways up from the cache location due to no visibility of us if another car was to use the same road.
A short stroll back & the cache was soon in hand, the logbook signed & dated before being returned back to its hiding place.

Found on a trip from Wool Bay on Yorke Peninsula back to home in the Adelaide Hills via Maitland, then up to the northern plains to find most of the caches on the circuitous back-roads in an area between Nantawarra, Balaklava and Bowmans, finding 22 caches for the day and clearing up a very rewarding portion on the map. Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish!
Was certainly pretty dry today, so the drive in was easy. A nice quick find of a well maintained cache too. The drive out was harder due to all the rubbish on the road. Shame that part isn’t as well maintained as the cache is.
Thanks for the cache Moneydork.

Nice little spot hidden away on this dry weather road. Thanks for bringing us here Moneydork. TFTC.
A green dot on the map too long when every thing else around has been found almost. Made the run and try not to slip method to this one, as SS threw the cache back it landed on top of a stumpy. Cache is all good, maybe the stumpie isn not.
Out for a morning caching trip with some fellow Tasmanian cachers: SScahrlie, was great to catch up on there travels across the country so far and talk about what is yet to come. The agenda was to collect my multi and also take them to some of Adelaide best including Gawler fort knox. Too hot for us fellow Tasmanians as it kicked over to 34 max in temp, so the car was the place to be.
Only 5 finds for me today.
Thanks for the cache.

Caching with Southern Cross Caching today, out searching for hidden creatures.
We were lucky it hadn't been raining, wouldn't like to come through here if it had.

Yet another puzzled puzzler's Tuesday caching expedition. Today's crew of brisal5, Mrs. SA Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl set sail north again to where we were caching DNF's recently. Whilst doing that two weeks ago we rectified three DNF'S but added another three to the list. Although we made a lot of finds I managed to add another four to my DNF list! No matter we had a lot of laughs and I added a few unloved caches to my list along the way. [:o)]
Our first detour took us out here and despite it being winter, there had been little rain lately and we made it with no problems and even parked in the creek to be off the road! A scramble up the direct route had me slide straight back down again. So I went a bit further along to a slope less precipitous and made my way back. I bit of a search and the cache was in hand.
**Thanks Moneydork for this cache. **

Owl was out on her usual Tuesday geocaching frolic with SA Sewer rats and Brisal5, this time with some northern exposure in mind. lots of dry weather roads were traversed, mainly because it was still dry, even though it was winter! This one took a while to find, but having exhausted all the obvious locations, the Starfish found it underneath a pile of wood that looked like it had been gathered for a bonfire. A safer place has been found.
After talking with the CO came back prepared to replace.
Had another good look around but again no cache was found so ended up leaving the replacement.
Thanks for the cache Moneydork

Lovely place, had to be careful where to park, but no idea where this one was. Climbed banks, rocks and trees. Either washed away or a really tricky hide
Scrambled up the bank and had a good look around but no cache was found.
Did see lots of flood debris and can't help but think it may have been washed away [?]
Thanks for the hunt Moneydork

Nice day out with DarknStormy, nice hide and made friends with lots of unfriendly ants. TFTC TNLN.
Out and about with my Uncle "Scrappy Trucker" , He's been down for a week exploring our beautiful state so I decided to take him for a drive in the back roads to do a few caches here and there
We got attacked by the ants today, the little buggers got in to the car too grrrr

Quick and easy find.
There are plenty of great Dry Weather Roads around this area, but this one would be impassable after a decent rain.
Great spot for a cache!

Out and about with Mattycat exploring some of the lower mid north back roads and dry weather tracks, tight little track would look spetacular when it has a heavy flow through this narrow stretch great spot TFTC Moneydork
A good day's caching tour with Mr Froghoppin. [^]

the road was long and dusty.

Wouldn't like to meet another car coming from the other direction while trying to traverse this creek crossing! All nice and dry here today, but it sure would be fun in winter. Cache was found nice and quickly and is in good condition.
Thanks Moneydork.

On a cold and overcast day, what better to do than some "drive by" style caches. Took longer to turn the car around than find the cache. Road in good nick but definitely "Dry weather road"

Last time we came out this direction we had to pass this one up due to the wet weather warning. I'm glad it's dry today, definitely not one for the geo-mobile on a wet day and we have already had some experience at getting bogged or sliding off wet, muddy roads
Mrs 3LG tackled this one alone but it was a glorious sunny day, creek bed bone dry, no water to be found anywhere (except in my drink bottle). I knew it was up there but with batteries now dying in the GPSr and when that happens, the GPSr seems to take one in all directions except the direction needed. So after being sent in circles I clambered back down to the car to find some batteries with enough charge to at least get me close to GZ. Sure enough I had been past here twice already but hadn't stopped to look properly. Cache located, all dry & in good condition and now back down that slope for a second time. This is the last cache for the day and as I'm unsure of where or how bad this dry weather track might be further along I'm turning around and going back the way I came in. I impressed myself with a successful 4 point turn over the rocky creek bed, I didn't break the car

Muggle partner and I headed out for a day caching and it was his idea
Brodie came with us and by day's end, he was exhausted [|)]
We went as far north as Port Wakefield and then returned via dirt road after dirt road so that I could get some of those caches that no one else ever wants to stop for
By day's end, I had found 18 and had 2 DNFs
Got to admit this would have been much more fun in wet weather!
Fun drive in though, fun climb and find accompanied by Brodie dog...followed by a not so fun fall down the last bit of the slope after muggle partner tried to help me down instead of allowing me to slide down on my bum as I usually do! Neurofen Plus to the rescue, once again
Creek was only about 2 m wide and a few centimetres deep...more water would have been even more fun

What a hide, should have thought like a cacher, as usual hardest way up and easiest way down SL TFTC
Out for an afternoon with both frogs from Jeremiah Bullfrog. 140 kms and 9 caches and the only DNF was the coffee shop at Angle Vale. Drove the corolla carefully along the road from the south avoiding the ruts deeper than my tyres would have coped with. Obviously someone had to go along the road when it was wet recently. No water in the River Light today. Thanks
Out on a caching afternoon with Moses on the Move and Mr Frog, enjoying the beautiful weather, wonderful company and the challenge of finding smileys. thanks to all who contributed to a great day.
Heading to Marion Bay for a weekend's fishing I thought I'd leeave early a pick up a few caches.

Out for a drive to get a fuel consumption figure after getting a new exhaust, decided to grab this one cache that appeared on the radar not far from PWR.
Rather than park in the creek and block the road, I went a bit further, parked off the road and walked back. The geotrail in the soursobs made it an easy find. TNLN. Cheers

Mr M was just contemplating breakfast when Mrs M came out of the bedroom and suggested that we do the Australian Prime Minister Series. Well if we are going to go all that way then why not plan out the full day. Mr M quickly came up with a plan to do 81 caches, bolted down breakfast and we were off. After a terrific day full of fun, we returned home with 77.
What a great spot. We parked in creek which gave us plenty of photo ops. Mr M went for GZ and apart from the terrain, made an easy find. Thankfully no-one came from the other direction. We found a turn around area just beyond the cache and we were soon on our way out. TFTC Moneydork.

Well there's the rub, I came down this way about 5 months ago and thought that this would be the perfect place for a cache. So as the saying proves "use it or lose it".Bonus of course is I get to find one.

I like dry weather roads especially when it leads me to somewhere interesting. As I was working this direction today it was just a small detour on the way home. I'd love to see this is full flood. Silver for me TFTC Moneydork

Grabbing a first to find this afternoon made this the most perfect day. We saw this cache come up just as we left the city on our way to Mallala Motorpark for some hot laps and the lure of a dry weather road made it even more tantalising. We turned onto a dirt road off Port Wakefield road and wondered what all the fuss was about but the road soon turned ugly and the windy bit across the creek bed was so totally awesome. Once the GPS settled down the cache was soon ours and we were on our way! Thanks for this well placed cache and a reason to take the Prado for a spin!
locus cache might have to stay away from this one with her rack record lately of driving on dirt roads
