Great HideThanks JJ52 for the cacheJames0116Monday, 4 Dec 20238:48:15am ACDT3930
Thanks to pineapplegoldy this one has been replaced. The container certainly was smashed. The cache is now a bison tube hidden in the same place and is now all good to go again.
Had a look for this one.. Saw 2 zip ties and an empty brown tube on the ground. Not sure if this was the cache container tho.
By this time of the trip, we had lost the company of Micaparamedic as he had commitments but Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 and myself were making our way back to Victoria. We are heading back to Victoria after doing a great tour of Maralinga. We are aiming for ad labs and earthcaches as we go but sneaking in a few others along the way. Geoturtle37 had to search for this as she is a bit of a netball fanatic. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
With a name like "Netball" this was a must do for me. I have played for about 50 years on and off, just a little addicted. Shame that there was no game on here at the time we visited. Thanks for placing this cache for all to find.
Tuesday Trekking changed to Wednesday Wandering.
The Trio consisted of the Rat, ttrogg and the Starfish.
Plan A was Ttrogg to pick up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We the continued on to meet up with the Starfish at the designated cache.
Then as we strolled back to the cars.
We went to Plan B, to go down south.
Here with 2 previous finders, who could not find it today.
The Rat soon had the cache in paws.
I stamped the logbook and replaced as I found it. TFTC

Unfortunately half of the team needed to stay behind to look after sick friends in Western Australia and the other half needed to head home for a doctors appointment. I joined forces with Papi4506 and Geoturle37 at Maralinga and we have travelling home via the Anne Beadell Highway and Oodnadatta Track picking up whatever caches we came across.
One of our main focusses on this trip was Adventure Lab and Earth Caches and we doing the nearby Balls Ad lab and with this one being so close by we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try our luck. Especially since the rain had now stopped, We couldn't help but notice the colour of these courts as we approached GZ. They are probably the brightest courts that we have ever seen and then top it off once at GZ, The cache was a nice quick find and after adding our names to the log and returning it as we found it we were off again,
Thanks jj52

Thanks JJ52 for the cache. Netball was an important part of my life, and family life for many years. Now perhaps is the time for me to research where walking Netball is played in Adelaide.
Out for a quick caching-stroll between coffee catch-up and boozy lunch.
I could watch a game of soccer ... I COULD.
But I'd rather duck behind this tree.

After a brunch event in Prospect and visiting family in the northeastern suburbs, I’ve headed south to Onkaparinga, where I still have many hides to find. This is one of ten caches found down that way today.
I’m making this my last find in a quick circuit of this unexpectedly large recreation space. Fortunately no netball action whatsoever happening right now, so an unimpeded search , find, sign and return. Thanks JJ52.

Visiting the area today and after an appointment I went for a wander. As I was passing by this cache I stopped for a look. I found the cache on the floor and when I opened it up, I found a rather soggy logbook. Able to make a mark though. Returned back to where the cache should be. TFTC JJ52
Good spot. Container fell out but we found it and put it back with paper and pencil.
Found it! Was looking too high and low for a while. I’m 5’3 and it is a little lower than my eye line.
I'm so close to 1400 finds, I thought I'd pick up a few more after the new AL to just get to the milestone.
Funny, I took a guess at who the CO might be before checking and I was right.
Just as I found the cache someone at the nearby soccer game kicked a goal and everyone cheered, however, I'd like to think they were cheering for me because I found the cache.
Thanks JJ52 for another sport themed cache.
This brings Goldy's find count to 1398.

Thanks JJ52 for placing this cache. Found on 31/7/2022 at 3:00 pm.
Some caching therapy today with Blackadders. Nice to wander in the fresh air.
Bigger than bison. Courts side of tree, which was tricky as there were around 1200 people at this venue today. Log moist. Thanks for the cache

A rare day out with OzGrumpy who asked if I could join him for a Sunday cache hunt. With the weather forecasting 100% chance of rain there were umms and arrs however concentrating on drive by's meant we did not need to be far from the shelter of the geo mobile. This plan went well for all but one of our finds where we were caught out and ended up soaking wet.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
With some netball carnival or something going on we had to sneak to GZ to attempt this hide. Screened by Mr Grumpy the Adder spied the hide and under his cover extracted the prize.
The log here is soaked and near mush so we made our mark as best we could. If it were not for the many many muggles overlooking GZ we would have replaced the log from our stash but felt it too risky to return with a new one.
.
Thank you for the cache JJ52 Find Number 9923 on 31/07/2022

Went down south for a change of scenery. Found your cache along the way!
Wow they certainly have a lot of nets for their balls right here !!! Must be a popular game in these parts
Heaps of thanks to JJ52 for placing and maintaining this cache on our SA geo game map

Searching each and every day finding and signing cache logs alone or with family and friends using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that luck stuff actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Caching is a hazardous activity!
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Really good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere, apparently!
