Plenty of solved mysteries also to pick up.
We made a quick find at GZ cache is in good condition.
Plenty of wildlife here

Got this one on a nice little walk with my son. We didn’t find Bigfoot, but we found the cache! TFTC
With the boys at their Dad's this weekend, it was a perfect opportunity to head to Canberra for some 'light' caching with fitzy_1965.

After a late night talking all things caching with Smittengranny, we had a lazy Sunday morning before all heading off for a day of caching around the City. We had written a list of our aims for the day and once those were ticked off we tackled some of the many labs still on offer.
Nice quick find here today.

A nice evening walk around this area to collect a few caches. Thanks for placing.
The eldest GeoKid and I spent a very enjoyable afternoon finding traditional caches around Kaleen and Lyneham. This cache was a straightforward find at GZ - thank you Delta Response Team!
After just over 60km on the ebike this morning chasing smilies I was rounding up a few more targets in the geomobile. Not too long a walk to this one from the target I had just visited.
Seem to have missed Sierra Oh well I did reach my two proper objectives nearby.

There was no problem in finding this cache. All good with the container as well as the contents. Log was signed and replaced as found. Thanks for this cache placement.
After just a few short days away it was time to head back again with ilook4geo, but we decided to add a few more caches to the numbers by collecting some challenge caches and a couple of traditional caches to round off the finds. All were easy enough to find and all logs were signed.
Many thanks go to Delta Response Team for this cache placement.

Made a nice quick find while out walking on the ridge. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
A very cold winters night to be out caching with GLISS! Great to find a daily fast so that we can get back to the warmth. Thanks for the cache.
Geocaching can be of varying contrasts, one day it could be extremely tough, bush bashing, climbing over massive boulders in the middle of nowhere like we did yesterday finding ‘blue gum cliffs’ cache in tidbinbilla. Today it was a leisurely walk around lyneham picking up caches and enjoying the winter days sunshine. Quick find. Tftc
#3870 Out with Green-martian, Duffco and son, today we set out to walk a loop of this suburb we always drive past. Replaced cache as found. TFTC.
A nice quick grab on an afternoon walk. Almost walked past it on the way back to the car. TFTC
I was driving Pebbles to training which gave me time for a little walk I have not been on this part of the ridge separating Belconnen and the inner suburbs since 2012 and so it was time to came again. This was much nicer than I remember less native vegetation than Bruce ridge but a lot more view therefore. I unfortunately didn' t have much time in the end so will be back
.
Thank you DRT for the cache!

Decided to look for this one around the neighbourhood while waiting for my friend. Really recommend bringing a mountain bike. Also thanks to the stranger with the dog who helped me get my bike over the fence! TFTC
A quick grab on the way back from Canberra second toughest challenge thank you for giving us our palindromes souvenir today. TNLN TFTC
We were up in the northern part of Canberra to drop off some furniture, and, after looking at the Canberra Mapping Challenge Challenge Checker, we realised that we really never head north to find caches, so, despite the still smokey weather, we grabbed the (bored and ready to get out and do some caching) geoPoodle, and grabbed a couple of caches, along a completely new area.
This was number two, and given the smoke, our final one for the day. We zeroed in quickly and after a false start quickly located the cache and signed the log.
I did think that I would have to find at least 20 caches in this series, but, sadly, most of them are now archived. Still, it's good to have this one.

Having travelled all the way from Brisbane to attend the Mega event over the Easter long weekend, I was out and about from just after sun up with the aim of collecting as many caches as possible on my lengthy wish list. With the influx of cachers in town for the Mega I had tried to avoid the more popular caches, such as power trails and challenges, as much as possible. With the event winding up today and a lot of cachers heading home, I thought this was an ideal day to pick up some challenge caches.
Another perfect autumn morning to be out caching, made even better by the finding of this cache. On the way to GZ I caught up with another cacher (feathertop) out collecting some challenges, and we continued on together to locate and sign the cache. TFTC

I was in the company of Jeff? from Brisbane after signing the 2nd toughest challenge together. This one of course was a quick and easy find on the way back to the car.
Many thanks Delta Response Team

After having a great time at the Clear Waters Mega Event, it was time to pack up and start heading home. We still had a little unfinished business though, and we found this cache on our way to a certain challenge.
Thank you Delta Response Team for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

We came to search for this one after having found the nearby Challenge cache. The cache was soon located and log book signed. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
I was in the area to sign the log of a challenge that I hope to qualify for soon when this cache popped up on the screen. A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.
Found on 21 Apr 2019 at 1:16 pm.
It was finally time to attend an interstate Mega event and this was my final day here got up bright and early to do a couple of hill climbs and bush walks and river walks to find a couple I ran out of time on a couple of years ago when we were last here. I also wanted to find a couple of old ones to help qualify for a challenge I collected yesterday.
I found this while looking for a nearby challenge cache. Nice easy find thanks to the hint. Didn't see anyone the whole time I was in this park!
Thanks Delta Response Team for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Day 14: Clear Waters Mega Trip
The plan for today is Challenges, the final few suburbs, a kayak or two and some interesting DT type combos!
Thanks Delta Response Team for being part of my Clear Waters adventure.

We have driven past this set of caches so many times and always on the way to somewhere without time to spare. Today we made a number of finds to clear along here, thanks DRT.
Last cache of the day for me and the end of my stroll around the bush here. I liked the hiding spot and the cache was soon in hand. It's getting dark now. Time to go home. TFTC
The first find today on a pleasant walk along this ridge. I particularly liked the colourful berry bushes near this cache. TFTC
I made a late decision to try a couple of the objective caches. I figured I probably had enough time before it got properly dark (took a torch just in case).
This cache was so well hidden that I think Mr. Tickle would have struggled to retrieve it! In the end I managed to coax it out with a stick. Signed log and re-hid cache well, but still within reach of those who don't have cartoonish extra-long sqiggly arms!

Today was a girl’s day out caching. Was with Kitty Katch, Joolay, GeoGlors, Darzee Di, and Isopedia. Some of the caches had been found by others or all. It was beautiful day, not too cold and the sun was out and the views over parts of Canberra with the autumn colours left a smile on our faces. We say a scar tree, had a laugh as some used a ladder to climb a tree – then explain to some mothers with kids in their prams some silly excuse as to what we were doing. Just love exploring the bush at our back door. Thank you ladies for bringing me along on todays adventure.

Found with Kittykatch, GeoGlors, Darzee Di, CBR CHIC and Isopedia. Some have done the one caches we are doing today and some have not. But it was great getting out and about this arvo on a beautiful autumn afternoon. Geoglors climbed the tree. We did need to take a useful tool. TFTC
Out with Delloro in the ACT to find nny 10Kth cache. This one helped to get my numbers up.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found during a trip to Canberra for the week. Enjoyed the walk around the park made so much more entertaining with caches to find along the way! Thanks for the cache Delta Response Team!
Reasonable easy find, bit nervous as I placed my hand in looking for the cache.
TravelGran was very brave reaching in for this one! Really nice bush around here.
I was off on another lunch time caching run across the inner north, though I am having to get further and further from the office. It was North Lyneham and surrounds today, I remember working with a guy from North Lyneham, he was adamant that it was totally different from 'regular' Lyneham.
Anyway, this was the sixth for the day and the first on my 'find all the objectives objective'. No problems with this find, the hint led me straight to it. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache

Geohound, geopartner and geodaughter all said "Let's go for a walk". I said, "I have just the spot". So we parked and collected five caches in a nice loop.
Last for the loop. Just before the phone battery died, I checked the spot and the hint. Off we walked. Near GZ, we checked another likely spot, without the GPS accuracy to guide us in. But a wider search soon found a great hidey hole and a happy, warm cache. TFTC DRT

Tftc. Thankfully a quick find tonight in the cold. Cache was overseen by rabbits.
This was a busy roadtrip - driving from Melbourne, picking up CT_ZA in Sydney, and then spending a few days at the Gold Coast. 4500km covered in a week with much sightseeing and a 'little' caching .
After the first night's rest near Bookham and doing part of a powertrail I headed towards Canberra. Time to stop for some caching again... At this rate it'll take me a month to reach Sydney .
Best way to break up the drive is not sleeping or sitting - a little bushwalk is highly recommended. So onto the Eucalyt Trail.
My Objective at this GZ was to not Tango with any wildlife when retrieving the container.
Thanks, Delta Response Team.

Little bit scary retrieving this one from its abyss but nothing bit my hand off thankfully
I assumed that is why this one is a T2.5 while the other one which is even further into the reserve is only a T2?? So I replaced it back deep inside its hole.
Thanks again DRT

Cache 2555 on 21/5/17
Bobl27 and I got out a bit later than planned which meant an assault on Mt Majura was not going to happen. So we took the hound for a perambulate around North Lyneham. Around 5 caches found for the afternoon - and a nice little walk on a sunny afternoon.
4th one for the afternoon and another quick find at GZ. TNLNSL TFTC DRT!

Dropped by the reserve for an afternoon run and cache. Thanks for the easy find
I was walking up to GZ, about 5 metres away, when I noticed something long, tan and almost certainly bitey slithering away into a hole. Oh, like that hole the cache is in? Yep. Hmmm, if I poke around will the snake run away? Yeah, not likely.
I moved on to "The Owl" and "Romeo Objective", and thought I'd have another look on the way back out. It took what seemed like hours to slowly pull out the natural camo with a (very long) stick - no snek sounds yet - and in the dying afternoon light I could see the container. It was well and truly up in that hole like a mega-seed, and no amount of stick action could snare it and drag it out, the container looks only just smaller than the hole it inhabited.
So I returned the camoe and left the cache with Mr Nope, I'll check again another day.
