I would have liked to hire bicycles to visit these caches but the wife did not feel experienced enough. Next time I am in Darwin we will. Nice camo. Great spt. TYFTC

As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache.
There were a few muggles aound today but they didnt take any interest in me. Soon had this one in hand.

Abenteuerurlaub mit dem Britz-Camper durch Australien .
In der dritten Woche haben wir uns in der Gegend von Alice Springs nach Darwin umgeschaut .
Rechts im Brizz-Camper sitzen , links schalten , rechts den Blinker betätigen und links auf der Straße fahren .
Dann auch rechts und links nach Cachen suchen .
Eigentlich haben wir ja Urlaub .
Nun ja , wenn wir schon hier sind , dann mußte auch dieser Cache gefunden werden .
Heute ging es aus dem Kakadu Nationalpark Richtung Darwin .
Unser erster Cache in Darwin .
Tolle Basterlarbeit , allerdings war der Cache offen - aber alles i. O.
Für die Überraschung dieser seltenen Bastelarbeit in Australien spendieren wir einen Favoritenstern .

We had been on a little journey and returned to Darwin especially for these markets - we loved the gorgeous food and eating in the beach at sunset was a high lit. Thanks for hiding this cache here

This was a quick find, on the way back to the car, from the nearby EarthCache. It was midday and there were not a lot of people around, so there was no problem finding it.

Heading back to the car after visiting the nearby earthcache. Clever hide. Shame that we weren't around on a Thursday.

A quick easy find with akh08

Found! We were enjoying the markets & sunset yesterday and as so many people were around I didn't think it wouldrbe wise to tackle this one. In hindsight this one was far enough away fron the crowds. Another well hidden and unique cache hide. I did see something a little out of place and Bingo! Thats was it. Signed and rreturned as found.

Went for a stroll to find this cache.(after we'd been asked to take our dog out of the markets) We did find a sign telling us not to bring pets in but there were no warnings from where we parked the car. The cache was exposed when I arrived but all intact. Thank you TiedyeSmiles for your cache.

This was a quick find in the good company of Landlockedsailors

I was happy to come back to Mindil, because the kids and I really enjoyed coming here when we visited in 2009. Today there was no market, but it's still a nice place to visit!

Had an absolutely fantastic night tonight down at the Mindil Markets, As the Indonesian Marching band played we snuck off and grabbed this very clever hide. Spent the rest of the evening perusing the market stalls and eating until we were way passed full.

quick find in a very different type of spot

This has been gratefully recovered from finder of this wandering cache and replanted back at GZ all intact and ready to go again

A short tour of the wharf area around lunchtime with Bettyboo3747.
We have been here on a Thursday night and a Sunday, and no way were we going to look for a cache under those conditions!

# 3554. Another day travelling around Darwin by car, caching and sight-seeing. Today it was 12 finds and 4 DNF's.

We are making our way home now - not too far away from here so decided to pop in while all was relatively quiet and search. I like the hide here - very nifty - but amazingly zeroed in with pinpoint accuracy and produced it like a rabbit from a hat. Success is sweet! TFTC

WanderingAus wandered by on day 13 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs at the Casino to scratch her pokies itch, I headed off for a couple of hours of Munzing and a small bit of cache hunting thrown in.

I had decided to deploy some Munzees in this area, and particularly wanted to put one close to the GZ for the Event GC4D737 Mingle at Mindil scheduled for next Thursday. I had a rough idea where the event GZ was, so when I got VERY close I checked the geocache listing on the gpsr, and noticed the presence of this cache and the event at the same distance and direction (3 metres west). I looked west, had the 'Ahah' moment, and made an extremely quick and easy GAFF 0 find of yet another well-constructed TDS cache.

My Groundspeak find No 2,921, TNLNSL.
