Visiting our Home State from Qld for a few months so popped along to this great little event with sister Earthlight
Hunted up a few caches in the area while Free Camping at Martin's Bend
Highly recommend this camp spot

I had the opportunity to attend this event and as usual a great time was had both in catching up with like-minded tragics and caching afterwards.
Thanks to Moneydork for organising this fun event.

Oops, only just realised I hadn't logged the event. What a fantastic turnout you had. You certainly paved the road with geocaches -- crane2 helped as well. Had a good time at the event catching up with folks I hadn't seen in a while, and the meal was good too. Please host more, I like geocaching in the Riverland! Cheers Moneydork
Had a great time attended with the x- trailers and earth light nice lunch loved the pizza
15th find of the weekend on a trip up to the Riverland and back down the Wandering Heroes Series.
Arrived just as Moneydork was walking in so knew I wasn't late. Had a great lunch, chatting with the local cachers as well as all the people who made there way up to the event. Then after it was over we hit the town and surrounding area to find a few more of the local caches.

Initially thought we were downstairs, and thought it was a bit odd that there was only one other lone cacher looking for the crowd, but soon found my way up to the party! Lovely to meet some new cachers, that I hadn't spent time with before as well as see some familiar faces. My lunch choice was delicious and also managed to log a GCA moving cache, which was a bonus. One day I will manage to have a go at LL's reverse cache, but didn't have the time today. Off to catch up with the Rocky Glen Grommets at the Motocross, so no more caching for me today! Cache #1,645.
CPwanderer had kindly agreed to give me a lift to the Riverland Rendezvous pub lunch and during the day's journey there and back, we managed to locus cache 40 smileys and only 2 DNFs
We were also lucky enough to score 3 FTFs wihtin this lot!
After leaving CP's place, I grabbed another 7 smileys on the way home and 1 more DNF
I really enjoyed my lunch today, it had been a long time since breakfast at 5am when I hit the road.
Also really enjoyed the people, the conversations and the lovely river views too [^]
Sorry to those who I didn't get time to chat to and meet properly: I found out later that there were a few cachers there who I have heard of but didn't know....... somedays there is just not enough time

Arrived a bit late and wandered around the pub before asking where everyone was - ahhh, upstairs (surely that's not terrain 1) [?].
Ordered lunch and started to catch up with some familiar faces as well as some new ones (unfortunately, didn't get around to everyone - hopefully next time) [^].
Took lunch. Left memories. Met the CO for the first time.
Thanks for arranging the event Moneydork.
Left for a few more caches before our trip back toward home .

I was travelling east with Waldron and passing through Truro I saw Reno.62. Time for a pasty. Five minutes later Dazz turned up for a pie. We have got ourselves a convoy. Several caches later it was time for lunch. The first part of the puzzle was to find the venue. Oh upstairs. There is a lift if you are in a wheel chair. Lots of cachers and food and drink. Gee it is noisy in here. Lets go caching some more. Thanks for a great weekend. The Pajero has mud on the roof.
A great event which I enjoyed a lot.
Love meeting new and old cachers alike.
Took trackables to visit and sighted others

I enjoyed meeting some of the local cachers and familiar faces too! Great food great company,a few wines and I was at peace with the world. I also took advantage of the CO's invite to an evening BBQ at his place, including a night cache. Thanks Moneydork for the event and your hospitality.

It's been awhile since I attended a Pub Lunch. Nice to be back up the river in a town I spent a lot of time in many years ago The food was great and so was the local Banrock Station red. I ended up with about 60 cache finds by the time we arrived home. Thanks for the Event moneydork from PG
Lovely views of the River and enjoyed a nice lunch catching up with many other fellow Geocachers. Thank you Moneydork for bringing us all to Berri this weekend.
A fantastic location with wonderful river views, great to meet some interstate travellers, the locals and the die hard event chasers TFTE
i definitkly will be there, and on time.

Hoping to get there with my family there is 6 of us first time too something like this so not sure how it works
I'll definable be there for Saturday and if I can find somewhere to stay I may be there for Sunday to!
And I'll bring the Reverse Geocache with me so the locals can have a go at it!
Note to self: check ALL diaries and schedules before making commitments. I now find that I've got sporting commitments on Sunday morning. [:(!]
Maybe next time.
Maybe next time.
Heading back to Vic after a couple of weeks in the Simpson Desert, will be there.
A number of people have asked about the availability of accommodation at my place in Berri.
There are already quite a few cachers staying at my place for the weekend, so all of the beds are already taken.
There is room on the couch, the floor or out in the back yard if people bring their own swag.
Let me know if you're planning to stay so that I can organise things accordingly.
There will almost certainly be a BBQ and social drinks at my place Saturday night, starting approx 6:30pm. Please bring your own BBQ food and your own drinks. However I will have some of both available for people who don't get the chance (after all, I agree, caching is more important than shopping).
This BBQ won't count as a separate cache event, however I'm sure people will also do the nearby night cache, so they'll get a smiley that way.
I'll include my home co-ords as an additional waypoint for this event for those that are interested in attending the BBQ / socialising on Saturday night.

Thinking, thinking ... I'll probably attend (90% chance).
My early plans would be to travel up Saturday morning, leaving very early and attempt the Fruit loop series on the way through. After lunch pick up unfound caches in Loxton and continue on to Karoonda collecting unfound WH caches. Overnight at Karoonda then spend Sunday collecting more unfound WH caches. My biggest concentration of unfound WH caches is between Karoonda and Tailem Bend.
Anybody interested in joining me?

Looks like Mrs frog's recovery will be sufficient for us to have a weekend away and attend the dinner event and the shootout even if she uses the car for cover
I have made a booking for 20 people.
Will update numbers closer to the event and confirm the booking.
Cheers,
Wayne.

All being well, I will be there too
Might try and stay the night to get some caches out that way as well, just for something different to do

Finally will be able to put a face to the name I've seen logged in just about all my active caches.
It's time for me to find the odd geocache in the Riverland - the event will fit in nicely with my plans. Thanks Moneydork.
At this stage I will be there. I have been looking for an excuse to head back to this area for some caching.
