This one definitely needs some maintenance there is too much growth and rubbish to make an honest attempt.
Did not find, suspect this has grown over too much to be visible. Too much prickly gorse to rummage through
We found gorse, lots and lots of gorse. And along with the gorse there were a lot of manuka branches that had been chopped and dumped. And along with all of that weeds of the jasmine variety. We had an idea of where to find some T, but trying to get at any was a different matter, and neither of us being that fond of gorse blankets made us retreat to the car.
This one took waay longer than it should have. Ground zero is slightly inaccurate. Obvious human interference helped me find this one! Tftc.
Great hide, very impressive effort has gone into the making of this cache, tried last night as light faded with no luck, gave it another go and found it straight away. Great cache. TFTC.
Last cache of the day and I drove the car down here and parked alongside as light started to go out of the day. Straight to G Z and the cache was found. Care taken to open and replaced as found

Another assault upon the Magnetic Road series which, as it turned out, was a series to be repeated up the road a ways at Puzzle Highway, lol. Anyway, I started this series last December and wanted to do as much as I could on foot this afternoon. Parked in a side road just by as far as I got last time and carried on. Not disappointed and a range of cache finds ensued. T F T C to all COs who placed caches.

Nice quick find after reading some of the other logs that put me in the right area...cheers V
I prefer coffee but this will do, Amazing hiding to ages to find, were about to give up but then found by son. PS: the cooments help heaps.
Visited this spot while caching on Magnetic Road. Going down on the bike was fun! Going back .... different story ! TFTC
We were in the area clearing out a few caches today. most enjoyable and so nice to have a smilie here too.
Today we decided to visit a new area in Auckland. Targeted area was Glenfield.
Caches were generally well hid and terrain a bit more up and down than expected.
In fact some of the caches were real beauties, nothing to do with geocacher, in particular whose name slips my mind. (just kidding).
met up with fellow caches from Huntly.
Logs logged as Team HRP (home towns for us Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa
Great day. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap), ABCDF4, and eyespyben... Signed logs as Team H (Huntly) R (Rotorua) P (Papamoa). We are on the Shore as Gap has a small event to attend later in the morning... There is good news and bad news... The good news is that there are lots of 'Battle of the Bridge' caches to find on this side of the Harbour. The bad news is most of them are G2 caches - These hides are always a bit more challenging and take time to find...
We almost overlooked this hide in favour of those along Upper Harbour Drive. This one didn't take too long to find... Thanks The Pink Kayaker and TFTC.

Hunting with Mr 8 and mr 5.
Nice hide.
A bit of moisture has got in but the log is fine.

Initially we made this search way harder than it needed to be, as we stepped over the cache as we searched the overgrown GZ. Retreating back down the hill, we located the cache in an object that we had previously dismissed.
Finally getting round to logging these. Michaelteacher, mee_mi and I decided to do an afternoon of caching together so headed out to Greenhithe. Lovely weather it was!
Was looking for objects that were a T or fit the hint but in the end we expanded our search area to cover some overgrown areas and spotted the cache. Retrieving was slightly tricker though, but a towel did the trick to stop it from being a more painful experience! Otherwise, all is well with the cache! Tftc

We tried a lot of different theories on this one, but it was the reading of previous logs that put us on to the correct gz. It was then necessary for mee_mi to bring out what I would call an unconventional tool (and every 'tool' I tend to use is unconventional, so that's saying something) to aid in our retrieval of this cache. Well hidden at the moment, but clever. Thanks!
With the Metservice informing us we were due for a sunny Saturday, hayleyfcy, michaelteacher and I decided to turn a couple of North Shore caches into smilies. After meeting nearby in Glenfield, we decided to do a bit of a loop through Greenhithe.
Not sure how the title ties in here and it had hayleyfcy off course a little searching around the only thing that seemed to make sense. Turns out we were on the wrong side of the road, and with the help of some previous logs, felt like we were back on track. michaelteacher spotted something of interest, but it required a random item in my car to help avoid the pickles before we had the cache in hand. Logbook baggy mushy, but we were able to sign a previous logsheet added by another to leave our mark TFTC

Today was a lovely winters day, so after a hearty cooked breakfast we decided to head out for some caching on the shore. Miss NZT joined us for part of the day for a rare full compliment of the NZTravellers team! Had an enjoyable day, accompanied by HelloBird1e. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their great hides!
Down the lane we stopped at GZ and luckily MrNZT found it in the second place he looked despite the GPS pointing to the other side of the road. This was our 5200th cache. TFTC!

Miss Four and I thought we'd make a quick find here after her Saturday Morning swimming lesson up the road. Took a bit longer than we expected though - the cache had become quite overgrown since it was last found eight months ago. Thanks!
A nice quiet street but I had to wait for a passing muggle to slowly walk past GZ so I pretended I was looking up something on my phone. Once she had gone I swooped in for a quick find.
Very quick find and like past cachers, log was a saturated mess, I put in a fresh new waterproof sheet and it's good to go, nice camo, took awhile to catch my eye (:
Thought we might just try to finde all the caches down the Upper Harbour Drive. We were pretty successfull and pleased about the easy findings. TFTC
#130. Noticed distinctive object during our search and a previous finder's comment confirmed our suspicion. Great camo, TFTC.
Took a while but eventually noticed something that was worth checking - and surprise! It was there! No truckers or legible log but glad it didn't stump is in the end
Nice quick find with 10centnz nice work on camo but log is unwritable tftc Lokky1 8 September 2016 1:29 PM
I enjoyed the cache title and the hide. My buddy and I usually take a thermos out with us when we go geocaching for the day. However it broke yesterday and I'm missing it today. My buddy must have been missing it too as she bought a cuppa. Found this cache quickly. Thanks for the fun
Log completely soaked, used the back of a waterproof parking coupon as a replacement log. TFTC
Parked right next to GZ which gave me good cover from nosey muggles. Found quickly as I've seen several like this before, although usually with a smaller container. Great stuff TFTC
I was worried about just stopping on the road, so I parked at the cul-de-sac and walked back. I guess finding it in the second place you look is par for this one. Nifty camo job! TFTC.
Read through some logs and geocaching senses closed in on the find sans GPS. Piece of cake to go with the tea.
Yeah, log book's decomposing nicely.

Quick find and great job on the cache. Its now just mushy so added a small piece of paper from what we had. Needs maintenance but a couple of years since the CO looked at the site?

Came down the steep road, turned around and parked right across from the cache, cache was in the 2nd spot I looked, thanks for that.
Quick park and grab an a quiet Monday afternoon before the rain arrives. Log book wet as lid was not clipped in place.
It was a very nice day today with the sun, but because of it we waited until the evening to go for a walk, but where to walk to? We saw that we had not got this cache reasonably close to home so decided to walk there. Once we arrived at ground zero we found the cache immediately. Great camouflage, it is always nice to see caches that have had some effort put into them. Thanks for the cache!
What a cool cache ! Was in the first thing I investigated !
Then I looked up and realised the significance of the Cache name !!!!!

Chose to pop out at lunchtime to nab this one. Beautiful day. Some serious craftsmanship on this one. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Got there just when the sun was going down.I stood there for a couple of minutes puzzled then read clue and found it. Love the camo TFTC!!!!
Parked car on a layby close by on the main road as there was nowhere to park along Bernard Magnus. Walked to - and from this one. Nice walk down. Quick find using a little commonsense. Hard work going back up after an orienteering event this morning!!
Thx for the hide

Needing to find 50 caches in a day at least 1k apart, for geo licence challenge; I had decided today was the day, as I was already up early, dropping my daughter off at the International Airport at an un-godly hour of the morning. Have now worked my way through Botany,Beachlands, Panmure, through the Shore to Whangaparaoa and now back to the Shore on way home.
# 50 It was dark by the time I got here, yes it is a bit spookey down here at night. Also made it difficult to climb bank without slipping on all the beer bottles. What a weird place to find so many, picked up half a dozen to put in recycling, hopefully other cachers will do the same. TFTC and now thankfully I can go home.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We spent the day picking up some caches in the suburbs along the Upper Harbour highway, through Hobsonville, Greenhithe and Unsworth Heights. Soon spotted a likely hiding spot and found the cache! Another nicely made cache, pity about all the beer bottles currently lying around GZ! TFTC!

Out and about for a Sunday drive (yep, I know its Saturday) and finding a few easy drive-by caches. Thanks.
After doing the Okura Walkway this morning, no I wasn't finding caches but placing one, I decided I needed to find one or two or three or four or five. This is the fifth in the series down Greenhithe way. Had tea at the wrong house at first. The second serves better tea.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Took him 2 trips to sort this one out. One to find and log the cache, and the other to go back and retrieve the GPS he left behind! An easy night find, and nice camo thanks.
Found cache, nice camo. Unfortunately not waterproof so log was damp. Dried out log as best we coukd and then put in a little glad bag to keep dry.
Nearly forgot to log this find...a quick find while caching in the sun this afternoon. Spotted a likely GZ and from there spied something of interest. Cheers for the cache placement!
I have checked out the cache and it's now in a better place 1m from original area. TPK
Might need a look - cache was found (still attached) on the ground. Have positioned between tree and the fence for now.
Kept a look out for anything suspicious on the drive to the cache and spotted something likely just as we got to the bottom. Jumped out of the car and discovered the crafty cache nicely tucked away. Back in the car just as the neighbour started firing up the chainsaw. TFTC
Sat there trying to figure out why the little black book of numbers didn't agree with the on line stats and found some caches not logged. Winter has been too long and the brain is starting to lose its marbles. This was a nice little cache and we spotted the likely hiding place on approach. Many thanks for another cache not too far from home.
A good one for our FFED, today!! Looked for this one on 11 May inst but being overlooked by a curious resident flagged it away for another day. Back today with Hi Vis and no problem with a quickish find with co-ords pretty close. A nice hide!! TFTC
Looking for a munzee, flipped over the most likely object and found a cache. Nice surprise.
Headed out after dark (we must stop doing this!!) to look for this cache. The Lane was rather dark but were able to walk down the road with he help of our torches. Once at GZ the cache was spotted. Another well constructed cache container. Thank you for the effort you put into these.
FTF #5 and second in a week! Thought as it was a non work day that we'd be 2nd or 3rd but turned up found cache quite quickly and realised we were the first, yay! Busted by the muggle from across the street but maybe a new recruit as he seemed quite interested. tftc
