Searched the area, but sadly a DNF for us here today. [8)]
Pretty sure the cache is now swimming inside the pole.
Thanks anyway Lumpyjrb

Tried this one but after reading the logs, decided to call it off. Getting tired and warm.
We looked and looked for this one on structures and in trees, but left empty-handed. Our thanks anyway to Lumpyjrb.

Alice trip 2017. Day 16. Another day of driving, today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Mataranka to Adelaide River. Long distances with fewer caches until we arrived at Katherine. Great country along the way.
Thanks.

#6976 - 11:00; Day 18 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. Following a night in Mataranka Springs we continued enroute to Darwin after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs refreshed after a swim to start the day. We were headed to Adelaide River to spend the night, passing through Katherine and Pine Creek The caching picked up again today after a couple of quiet ones as we covered some big distances. We managed 47 finds and 10 DNFs along with a few trig points for the day. All caches found were in good nick, including this one. TFTC Lumpyjrb
13421. Next find of Day 08 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading North.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.
TNLN - TFTC !!

On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We arrived in Alice Springs to pick up fitzy_1965 to complete our group and set about the fun of attending the event.
We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. After the event we set our sights on Darwin and started off on the next stage of our road trip.
Managed to find another few caches and had a great time doing so.
Thanks for all the caches and the fun in grabbing them.

We are heading north on the highway today and stopped to grab this cache on the way.
The cache was found quickly which was good as there was some shouting coming from the nearby property (not directed at us).

Was looking around for this one but got interrupted by a grumpy local who didn't seem too impressed with our presence, so we scarpered
On our southerly maintenance run we checked this cache and all was well. Happy hunting.
We walked from A Bridge Further On to this hide.
Very interesting for the vertically challenged and 70.
Got it, signed it and put back with effort.
Thanks Lumpyjrb

Unfortunately 2 weeks go so fast and after having driven down from darwin to alice springs and uluru we have to make our way back to darwin for our flight back to cairns but not without finding a few more caches

Had me a bit bamboozled as the GPSr obstinately pointed to the only thing that didn'thave a hidey hole. Then "cacher brain" kicked in for a find. Thanks, Lumpy.

As Grey Team said, without using the name we would still be out looking for this one. Thanks.
Great hiding spot. Hint didn't help us-more about us than the clue I think. The name was a better help though.
Hint defiantly helped with this one, found it quickly before getting back on the hwy to head north.

Finally got out to check this one and its all good now. Should be able to retrieve the cache with out problems now.
Also found it, but did not want to force the issue, either. Definitely needs some TLC.
Located this cache but like bubblensqueak didn't want to tamper with it..... Thanks 4TC:)
Found the tricky little hide but Could not retrive it and didn't want to break it. Will require maintenance.
Yes we love the hide. It seems that the cache has been partially muggled but emailing the CO he agreed I could log the cache anyway. Great hide, worth a favorite from us. TFTC Lumpyjrb.
Well it was a good job I didn't have to take the geomobile through the gate
Beyond the gate was Dukes of Hazzard territory
Boss Hogg would have been after me for sure !!
OK!! So I get the point of this cache
But would I find it ?
A bit of scratching around and nothing was found.
Well that left just two likely spots.
One wouldn't budge, but after a few tries, mostly on tippy-toes (some sort of sobriety test, I'm sure) I finally wiggled a cache into view
TFTC and warning .... officer
