Thanks for the cache. We are on the way to flinders and had our first night camping here in the park. Unfortunately we did not see any emus.
Back in Victoria after an epic adventure with the Puzzld crew and making my way to Mildura, stopping at various caches on the way. Thanks for all your caches along the way MoneydorkNo emus today
Our journey to North Queensland will take us through many different towns.
Here's one to find today. Thank you for placing the cache Trigger_Fish.

A little detour on our way today. Who am I kidding, most of the trip was a detour! Found in good condition.
Thanks Trigger_Fish
We separated from Tassie Trekkers today with Budgie, SSR and I heading along the Murray toward Mildura and surrounds today. The high river levels prevented us from getting many of our chosen caches but we still found some good ones and enjoyed the day.
It’s become a tradition to fly to a Mega via somewhere else so Stainless steel rat, budgietas and I flew from Hobart to Adelaide a week before the big event and, after a few days around the city, worked our way up along the Murray (where we could due to flooding) via Waikerie, Mildura, Swan Reach and Echuca before heading down through Shepparton to Whittlesea where we caught up, and cached with, a few other teams including Whitewebbs, 1toolman and icybeetas.
Thanks Trigger_Fish

On our way to the mega and went via SA just so we could finish off the OYB series, We did these with TT and marked our territory with a stamp that said Team Tassie, most of the caches we found in good order and those couple that weren't we fixed up as best we could with what we had to hand.
All found now well till some more come out anyway!
Another year, another Victorian Mega, so where do we fly into, Adelaide like you do, after a few days in the city we ventured out into the wilds of SA before heading Northeast towards the border (You remember the name of the town, don't you?) before crossing over we teamed up with Tassie Trekkers and we all finished off the OYB series.
Our attempts at a few caches as we moved South that were near rivers were as half expected we were thwarted by floods so we didn't get to those but added the odd on in here and there.
At long last we arrived in Whittlesea for the Mega late in the evening of Friday 11th and after a quick event headed to our accommodation for the next few days. While in the area we explored the area finding caches all over the place and we even got to meet up with our Victorian ex Tassie cacher 1Toolman who traveled up from down South to join us for the day
Thanks for the cache.

No where to turn around if you have a caravan so make sure you park at the highway and walk in.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

I always worry that my car is about to fall apart when driving on these tracks but I made it in and out no worries.
A quick find of the cache, signed and replaced.
No wildlife spotted at all except for the relentless flies.
Still, a beautiful spot in its own way.
Thank you.

Day 5 was Port Augusta to Mildura. An early start had me watching the sunrise over The Remarkables. Another amazing day on the road. Thank you!

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
It was now time to head home after doing numerous trails while in the area a great caching adventure. We picked up numerous on our way home to break up the journey.
Quick find at this one, spotted emus along the journey but not in here.
Thanks for the hide Moneydork and for the fun Rapidlywild

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Today was cleaning up around Loxton and making our way over to Mildura for the night, before making our way back towards Wagga tomorrow.
No issues with the find here, no emus spotted unfortunately, now onto the next find for the day.
Thanks for the hides Trigger_Fish And thanks FurfacesLL for a trip to remember [^].

A great little stop on our drive from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Berri across the Victorian border, visiting MacCabe Corner in the morning. We then continued to make our way east, stopping in Mildura for lunch and completed the *Navigating the River as a Paddle Steamer* Adventure Lab. We then entered NSW, travelling along Sturt Highway and detouring through Euston, back into Victoria via Boundary Bend, then back to NSW to Balranald where we had dinner, and stopping in Hay for the night.
There were a few flies about when we stopped here. A quick walk into the bush/desert, and the cache was found. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Moneydork/Trigger_Fish for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity. We signed most logbooks 'B.E.F.W.'
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
***Generic Log unless something special above this line.***
I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks Moneydork for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Hi there Trigger_Fish.
We found your cache **"Emus @ Sunset"** at 12:19:00 PM today.
Our plan today was to head out from Mildura to the SA Border to attempt [I found a Hole](https://coord.info/GC87KKZ), until we discovered that the final was on the other side of the prohibited border crossing. Plan "B" was to log the caches on the left on the way out , and then pick up the rest on the way back.
The cache was UV damaged and very brittle. As it really needed some TLC we made the repair and restored the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache roughly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are now in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you Trigger_Fish for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

After an event at Rocket Lake yesterday we camped there overnight and then cached our way through Murray Sunset, we crossed the highway to get this location without seeing a single emu. 2 days ago in Wyperfield I spotted the largest mob of emus I've likely ever seen, there were at least 20 and probable 30 adult birds hanging out together.
Thanks Trigger Fish

Returning to Mildura from a Geomum and Geoson trip. The 11 year old found this one quickly. The container is a bit broken and needs replacing, but houses the biggest log book I’ve ever seen! Tftc
Saw 8 emus in a paddock on the left had side of the road about 5kms before the turnoff into this National Park. Four kangaroos enjoying their day in the park as we drove down the track. The container is beginning to deteriorate due to the sun and it will eventually need replacing.

We left the first event with The Coffee's as our chauffeur with the idea of caching our way to the next one and were joined by Honeysucker & maccamob .Posums has also now joined our little group.
We did see lots of emus's whilst driving along the main road before the turn off but didn't see any once we hit the dirt, maybe four cars was making enough noise to scare them off. a little walk passed a few likely locations and the GPS finally settled on the most obvious spot and a short time later maccamob had the cache in hand and we all added our names to the log for the largest Victorian cache that we have found so far this trip.
Thanks Moneydork for the break in the drive, event though there were no emus's it was far from sunset.

Found by Mary and David at 11:50:00. Nice to be off the bitumen. Love this area but, unlike the previous cache, there were no emus here today. Great sized container and log book too. Our thanks to Moneydork.
Heading to the border for the next 3x3 event and the small convoy turned into the national park so a couple of us could find this one.
Mary found it for us and the ones that needed to signed the log.
No emus were spotted around here today.
Thanks Moneydork TFTC.

Out on our way to the SA 3x3 event and this cache was on the list. We think this was another cache that qualified for Map 1 of the UBD challenge as well so another favorite from us.

Back on the road and felt that we needed to spend some quality time away from the main highway. We were wishing that we did not see any emu's after what happened to our car in June last year by an emu, and none were sighted. We left a personal pathtag in the cache for the next collector.

Whatever the name - Murray Sunset Country, Millewa, Sunraysia or Murray Irrigation Area it is an amazing part of Australia to explore, gain an insight into the lives and times of the pioneers and of course seek out a variety of geocaches. No emus at this time of day, we saw hundreds later on.
Thanks Moneydork for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Almost a slightly unloved cache and I can see when it is a little off the main drag.
Found on the Easter 3 state jaunt via SA, Vic then NSW. The weather was clear, the tracks were dusty and the skies were clear and starry. Catching up with friends along the way at the various events was also a bonus.
Thanks to Moneydork and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Geofamily trip to Victoria... Cool!
Mrs Moneydork, Moneydork, sushilord and I left Friday morning for a 4 day jaunt over the border to find a cache or two
Two nights in Wangaratta and then a night in Bendigo left me with 10 DNFs and 205 cache finds one of which was a FTF
Day 1 and the loooong drive to Wangaratta meant only 18 finds today accompanied by 3 DNFs
I'd say sushilord and I were lucky to be able to find this cache.... considering who the CO is
A quick find and then back on the road

The geofamily are off on another trip to Mexico. Fun, sore backsides (for some) and Dad getting the geomobile stuck and breaking his bike, TWICE were the highlights of the trip. One of the running jokes for the trip was 'If it's 2.5T it's laying on the ground, if it's 2.5D it's under that pile of rocks or in the open, if it's listed as large we are looking for an eclipse tin' which came about due to a number of early finds. The lasting memory from this trip will be the grass seeds!!!
Geodad decided a slight diversion was required. A quick find amongst the daisies. (Truth be known this was geodads way of doing a maintenance check.)
Thanks for the cache Moneydork.

Found right before sunset.. no emus today. Tftc. Took gorilla, left our soldier.
A quick and easy drive by as we cache our way through the area today. Alas, not a single emu to be seen here today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
The sun had set and the twilight was waning as we decided to head off to look for this cache. It didn't take too long to get to GZ where accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. As we drove back to the highway we were pleased that we hadn't left it any later as it was quite dark as we turned back onto the sealed road. Thanks Moneydork for the cache.
During a caching roadtrip to Mildura I took a few breaks along the way to rest, stretch the legs and get some smilies.
After a failed attempt at 2 states in 1 day yesterday I decided to get 3 states in one day today. So it was an early morning start from Mildura to Renmark, during which I stopped to search for this cache.
No emus at sunsrise here, but a great place to stop.
Thanks, Moneydork.

We enjoyed the short drive into the Sunset Murray NP to pick this one up, if we had more time we would have gone deeper to clean the rest of them, but alas Broken Hill is beckoning.

I love the serenity of places like, especially at sunset, but I was here in the middle of the day so no sunset and definitely no emus either. However a cache was lurking in the scrub. Not a good bit of road to turn around in though. TFTC Moneydork

Today is day two of our trip away. We set off for Berri to spend 3 days caching the Riverland area, joined by earthlight and Gwen from The X-Trailers. This was a good opportunity to find (or DNF) caches while trialling out our new tent and camping accessories, gearing up for when we head off to the QLD Mega at the end of March. We started out in temperatures of 38ºc before that first evening brought light showers, although not enough to dull the 41ºc temp for day two. Day three was a much nicer day as the day cooled down to a nice 28ºc. We managed 200+ finds on this trip. On day two we found caches in 3 states in 1 day being SA, VIC & NSW, that was quite a highlight. No snakes were spotted, guess it was too hot for them but we had one roo bound slowly across the road in front of us. Next trip back here will be with the boat, there are plenty of river caches to hunt for and naturally all the ones we didn't have time for. No emus were spotted but we soon found a cache. TFTC
