I find cemetaries incredibly interesting but also extremely sad at the same time. This one has a large number of infant graves and is absolutely heartbreaking. Thank you for bringing me here, it's important that people are remembered.

Very informative but a sad place with so many short lives here . Tyftc

Thought we would visit the cemetery, and have a sniff around for a couple of traditionals on the way past. Nice straight forward stroll in the historic cemetery, but messed about a bit searching for the final. Using Google maps for this is not ideal. Thanks for your work here strange quark1

After knocking off a heap of challenge caches headed over to the Eucy Drive series of caches and a few others nearby. It s always fun and informative to stroll around a cementary. TFTC.

*Found on the 5 Nov 2023 @ 2:00pm.**Cache find # 15327.* Out and about with biggles1024 for the weekend in St Arnaud. After a bite to eat from the bakery, we then headed out to the cemetery for a wander around visiting the waypoints for this cache. There are certainly a residents that have been here for a very long time. After collecting all the info needed, we then had a new GZ calculated which we headed to and the cache was found.**Thanks to strange quark1 for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

**05/11/2023, 13:58:00****Find #5593****Multi Find #461**Day number two of our third trip to St. Arnaud. This morning's task was to finish the Eucy drive series but first a few other local caches. The weather was fine but the wind was perishingly cold early on. Old cemeteries are very interesting places and this one was no exception. A well laid out multi that saw us increase our daily step count and learn a few things along the way. GZ wasn't too far away either. A favourite point from me.**Thank-you to strange quark1 for placing this geocache**

On our way home at the end of our camping trip to St Arnaurd, K9team and I had to stop for the cemetery cache. Making quick work solving the puzzle we had to take out time walking to GZ as there was a muggle dirtbike rider close by. Thankfully they left before we got to the cache. Thanks strange quark1 for placing this cache. Look forward to returning for another trip to find the rest of the series.

Find # 9106
Nice quick find, once we adjusted the answer for the first location and the geochecker confirmed our result.
We wonder if any grave diggers have ever become instantly richer during their digging.
We give this cache a favourite point.

We completed the rest of this series on the previous trip to town. Today was our last day in town. We walked around the cemetery, collected the required information and made the find. Had a few months of unlove, all in good condition though. TFTC

I love seeing all the old names and hearing of their lives, some much too short. RIP. Lovely seeing the pine too.

Started this last night, got information and went back to camp as getting cold, didn't have warm clothes in the car. First one this morning in what promises to be another cracking day. Loved thus one, thank you so much!

03-Jan-21
After my usually busy Christmas and Boxing Day I was able to hit the road for a 1 week break which I was looking forward to and I had plans on where I was going to.
Then a couple of muggle friends suggested we head away together and my plans changed for the first time.
So we had a trip planned to NSW and all was going great.
Then our plans were changed with what was happening in NSW so we picked a spot on the map and that was Hopetoun.
The silo art up this way is something that we had been looking at for a while so now we had our trip planned.
Came up through Nullawil and Sea Lake to see those silos then headed west to start the silos that I haven’t done yet and we stayed at Hopetoun for a few days to visit the rest of them.
It was time to head towards home and after stopping in Woomelang for some great art then Birchip, got to Donald in a very roundabout way and finally reaching my destination for the next couple of nights St Arnaud.
Last time I was up here it was for the Mega so it was good to be back up hear to clear out a few more caches.
This is one of the caches that I ran out of time during the Mega to do so after last nights rain I decided to come here in the morning to hopefully let the tracks dry out.
Another nice stroll around a local cemetery checking out some of the local history and finding out what is required.
Crunched the numbers and came up with a good set of coords so off I went.
I enjoyed the walk to GZ and after looking in a few spots I soon added my name to the log.
Another cache that earned me some unloved as well.
Thanks strange quark1 TFTC

Welcome back from Covid. If there are issues with the cache after the length of time in situ please message me.

20-Jul-20
Due to a rise in Covid-19 I have made a conscious decision not to undertake cache maintenance as I feel that it doesn’t fit one of the reasons for being out during this pandemic. As I work in Melbourne in an emergency service but live regional I will not be putting myself or my community at risk.

I therefore am disabling all of my physical caches for the time being. The caches them self will be left in situ.

I won’t be deleting logs or anything like that and I intend to enable them again once I feel that my safety or that of my community won’t be put at risk.

I apologise for the inconvenience.

The afternoon was warming up and this was going to be the last cache for the day, with SnappyTomCats, following the conclusion of the St Arnaud Mega Event, before heading to dinner...
We wandered all around the cemetery collecting the information...
We did the calculations and located the cache...
An enjoyable Multi...

After an exhausting weekend at the Mega we had a day off today before taking the shop back to Geostuff HQ in the lovely Barossa tomorrow! We ventured out to do some caching with hevwalker. Wow...Should have checked the locations of all the waypoints before heading off and criss crossing the cemetery. I cannot beleive how segregated it is! Talk about discrimination! Seems its just as bad in death as it is in life. Felt sorry for the poor chinaman in his section all by himself. Great bit of history though. TFTC

We teamed up with Rapidlywild and headed down from Canberra for another Geocaching Victoria Mega. We arrived at our accommodation in Bendigo on Friday afternoon / evening and checked out a few caches in the area before retiring for the evening. On Saturday morning, we had a pleasant drive across to St Arnaud, arriving at the event as the opening ceremony was wrapping up, and the lab caches were released, so we joined the frenzy with the masses solving the cleverly constructed lab caches.

Sunday, day two of our mega weekend we headed over to St Arnaud to tackle some of the fire trails, and what ever else we came across along the way.

A nice stroll around the cemetery, a bit of a slip and slide to get to GZ.

It's that time of the year again, Victorian Mega time, so its off to St Arnaud for myself and the ladies of FurfacesLL. A long road trip ahead, heading off Friday morning and getting home late Monday night and a fun filled weekend. We found many caches of all kinds of variety.. Trads, Multis, Puzzles, EC's, Virtuals, Letterboxes, Wherigos, Events, Cito's and of course, the Mega itself. We enjoyed the weekend and there sure are some unique caches here in St Arnaud, we still have plenty left to collect, so may need to coordinate another trip this way some time.

Sunday is here, after a massive day yesterday doing the StARS trails, the Challenge trails, the CITO, Events and Lab caches. Today we decided to head out to try some of the Fire Trail trails and we were not disappointed.

Nice big cemetery with alot of older headstones here. Well maintained! Went mountain climbing to obtain the cache GZ, cool spot Big Grin

Thanks for the hide strange quark1 Big Grin And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another amazing trip away Big Grin

Just a couple more caches out this side of Town, before we head back to the NE of the State. A multi to add to our cache types found this weekend, and at a Cemetery, which is always interesting. 19,473. Found with minniek during our epic visit to the St. Arnaud region for the 2019 Victorian Mega Event.

Day 2 - We headed out after breakfast for what we knew would be a great days caching. The drive around the area was a lot of fun today. We always enjoy a cemetery cache, and this one was well worth the short time it took to complete. A stark place with all the rock. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we headed off to the next one.

Thanks strange quark1 !!

Two of my loves are geocaching and family history so I find it very hard to pass by any cemetery without stopping.

I am in St Arnaud for the MEGA weekend and spent more than half a hour walking around this cemetery collecting the required numbers and also thinking about the lives of the area's pioneers who are memorialised here.

Thank you strange quark1 for giving me an additional reason to visit this cemetery.

I do love cemetery caches and I did like this one very much. Those windows are tricky and got us into trouble for a bit until we corrected ourselves. But, apart from that we did well and it wasn't long before we took off in pursuit of the cache. A few ups and downs and then the cache was in hand. A fun experience in a solemn place and worthy of a favourite point from me. Thank you strange quark1. (Oh and how many strange quarks are there?)
Cheers and happy caching!

Found during a trip to St Arnaud to attend the 2019 Victorian Mega event. The weekend was spent primarily with e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo, and gridge98 as we geocached around the vicinity of St Arnaud. All of the events and CITOs were attended, we completed the available adventure labs and lab caches available at the showgrounds, many of the creative trails were gasped at their construction, and interesting puzzles were solved and collected during the weekend.

We all left on Thursday in two separate cars, and met up at the evening event, before finding a camp spot for the night in a very CITO location. On Friday, we targeted the StARS (St Arnaud Ramble Series) and the higher quality, well-constructed geocaches that were famous here in St Arnaud, and got lucky with the 2019 published series that we managed to snag FTFs on. Sunday had us continuing to find the other sets of high-quality caches around the neighbouring town parks, the challenge series, before spending a few hours at geocaching HQ participating in the labs that had been published. The event was also great to see some of the South Australians honoured with geocaching life awards (in amongst everyone on the list). Our final day, Sunday, had us do a big loop finishing off our geocache collection, driving all the way out to Kooreh and around via Stuart Mill, walking the conservation park at Mount Gowar, and finishing off at the GIFF event. A massive weekend that turned out to be a great mega! Thanks to all those who organised the Mega and the associated events. The variety between the local high-quality caches, the new series placed by the mega team, and those who needed to be around for the labs and main centre fielding questions was appreciated immensely.

Today, we continued with the well-constructed caches, starting off at the original series, *Fire Break Track* FBT, followed by the *Loop Track* LT series, visiting a few geocaches in between. We then called into Mega HQ to register our attendance, and then progressed through the Challenge series. We finished off the day with the CITO event and a few miscellaneous and puzzle caches around the area, and then had a well-deserved BBQ dinner at the event. We also completed a few night caches towards the west of St Arnaud, which turned out to be great and easily followed.

This cache was found during a side route to our adventures. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. The logbook was signed as DEFF98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo, and gridge98).

Found during a trip to St Arnaud to attend the Mega event.

FeatherWaite, gridge98 and I left Adelaide on the Thursday, taking a circuitous, but scenic route to St Arnaud to pick up a few caches in some other Victorian LGAs. We met up with Freddo and Davidwazza at the event that evening and teamed up to complete a couple more caches that night together before camping out of town.

Over the next three days we cached very solidly in and around St Arnaud, finding a diverse range of Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Virtual, Letterbox, Wherigo and Earthcaches as well as attending all the events associated with the Mega. We also managed to complete all the Lab caches over the weekend. Logbooks were signed D.E.F.F.98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo and gridge98).

On the Sunday afternoon, after the final GIFF event, FeatherWaite and I began making our way back to Adelaide, picking up a couple of caches before camping in the Little Desert NP. The following day we continued towards home with a side visit to Mount Rescue to pick up a few caches along the tracks there.

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches. They included a huge variety of containers, hides and puzzles, many of which were very clever and/or amusing and had obviously taken considerable time and effort to construct. Thanks also to all those who organised the Mega and the associated events. I’ll be looking forward to the Mega at Millicent in South Australia next Easter!

16-Nov-19
Found as part of our trip to the St Arnaud Mega event. On Day 1, e.gregory1, gridge98 and I left Adelaide on the Thursday morning, straight after the Earlybirds event in North Adelaide. We travelled a long and circuitous route via Bordertown, Nhil and Warracknabeal to find caches in 5 additional Victorian LGAs that I had yet to visit (namely Buloke, Loddon, [Greater Bendigo - I’d previously visited], Mt Alexander, Hepburn and Central Goldfields). On Days 2-4 we met up with Freddo and Davidwazza. As a group we systematically completed each of the many series around St Arnaud and found all other caches along the way, signing the logbooks as DEFF98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, Freddo, Featherwaite and gridge98), as well as attending the events and completing the Lab caches. After the Mega, e.gregory1 and I headed back to Adelaide camping out in Little Desert NP overnight. On Day 5 we had intended picking up caches around Mundulla and Mount Monster but a last minute change of plans saw us head into Ngarkat CP instead, for a solid drive and a few extra rewarding cache finds. Many thanks to all the cache owners for placing the huge variety of caches around St Arnaud and to all those who organised the Mega and the fantastic weekend away. Thanks for the cache strange quark1!

I see dead people.

Twelve months ago as we finished the Parkville Mega we were advised by someone that the next Victorian Mega event would be held in Saint Arnold. Somebody else told us that the Mega event would be held in Saint Arnood. And then another said that Saint Arned was the Mega event venue. Who should I believe? Struggling to understand the English language at the best of time. Freddo speaks two languages, Australian and Bad English.
Move forward a year. There is a cluster of events, including a MEGA event, at this town called St Arnaud burning a hole in my GPSr. The big white Pay Hero is loaded with GPSr, TOTT and camping gear and we headed east with a collaboration of like minded South Australian colleagues. DavidWazza, e.gregory1, Featherwaite, freddo and Gridge98 make team DEFF98.
Thursday: 5am event at a bakery in North Adelaide. The bed wetter team meets and says that this is way too early. Travel 500km east for the Thursday evening event. Freddo gets a prize. I am no mug. Camping in the bush under the stars.
Friday: Up early and headed out on the trails. And then back to our campground for a CITO! I am sure we did not make that much mess last night. More trails and 200 caches find for the day including a cluster of caches where freddo left DNA. More bush camping after a great meal in the Sporting Club.
Saturday: Up early for an event. Who puts an event on at 8am. Damn South Australians that’s who. After the event it was back on the trails and the Pay Hero is getting dustier and dustier. Found some awesome caches. Freddo the metallurgist was very impressed with the welding. Quality fabrication. And then another CITO. This time at the dump. Plenty of rubbish here. Some of it good stuff. Can I take some home? And finally a giant queue for a free meal. Nothing attracts a crowd like a free meal. The moment of the evening was receiving a Hall of Fame nomination. That prize is going straight to the pool room.
Sunday: Another night camping in the bush. Some fabulous night caches walks were undertaken. Night caching is a special form of entertainment. We spent the day cruising around picking up the left over unfound caches and meeting heaps of new friends. Boycotted the GIFF event since it did not show the freddo film “Cache Confusion” https://vimeo.com/372568752. One minute and forty four seconds of your life you won’t get back. A quick speech and it was back on the road for home. Well Horsham. More camping. This time by a river.
Monday: Caches around Horsham and following the Duke’s Highway back to Adelaide. Time for a shower for this smelly geocacher. An exhausted chocolate frog slept well.

We came, we cached, we ate, we slept; repeat for five days of fun and dust.

Easter 2020 sees South Australia hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Check it out. We would love to see you there.

Saturday at the St Arnaud Mega Event! Logged as a part of 'The Mob!' or 'Team Happies!' We had some time to kill before we checked out the nearby CITO, we decided to clean up this part of the forrest. The 4WD was getting super dirty as it followed the others through the trails to all of these cool locations. Thanks for the cache strange quark1!

Once again Geocaching Victoria has absolutely put together another enjoyable Mega event, and what a great place to have it.

Found as part of our trip to the St Arnaud mega. This cache has great sentimental value to us! Four years ago I went overseas with a schoolgroup and the theme of the trip was ANZAC; as we visited many cemetaries and locations on the Western Front. We were all part of an academic class dedicated to the trip and for our major assignment, each person had to research the life and experiences of someone who fought in Europe in WWI; ideally a relative or as close to it. As we only had relatives who fought in WWII, I researched the father of our neighbout, Edward Allen, who fought in Bullecourt and returned in a wheelchair. He lived most of his life in St Arnaud, and was buried here after he died in 1963. Our neighbour gave me plenty of worthwhile information about Edward; which gave great insight into his life (I got a top mark on the assignment). The idea of the assignment was that those students who researched relatives and people killed in action could visit their graves overseas - about half of our class managed to have a meaningful photo next to the grave of their person. One of the major incentives for making the trip to this mega was that finally, four years since the trip, I would be able to take a photo with my person's grave! We visited the relative of our neighbour (as the neighbour has since passed away) to have a nice afternoon catchup and at the end, were shown the location of Edward's grave to take a photo. We were extremely glad that we were able to make this pilgrimage to St Arnaud; and this cache only added to an incredible experience!

We parked out the front and then took a lovely stroll through the cemetery to answer the questions. Other than some initial confusion about the coloured glass panels, all answers were gathered without issue. Some stories were heartbreaking to hear, especially that of Arthur Jack. Seeing the ANZAC pine here was also incredible. It was then a lovely walk to GZ despite the sudden slight challenge in terrain in the last little section. A quick find in a nice location. TNLNSL. TFTC strange quark1 - a cache which we were obviously remember for a very long time to come!

I love coming to this area but it was for the St Arnuad Mega and grabbing some caches with Happy pants, omegaman1971, The Empire, Snap Happy and Di Morgan. Signed most caches as the MOB. Found some great hides and creative containers. There were many deserving of favs but I only have so many to give out. We had many and laugh while making these finds along the trails.

Thanks strange quark1 for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Driving around St Arnaud today, collecting some of the smiley's that papi doesn't have. I am logging some of them as it shows me where I have been. All caches were in good condition unless otherwise stated. Although it is a shame that some of the previous finders didn't take a little more care in their replacement of logs, caches and cammo.
Thanks to all the CO's that have placed all the caches, giving us a great day out.

Day 2 Natimuk to St Arnaud

found with jj52 and mogni after the nearby event. found under torch light. There is nothing strange about walking one end to the other end of a grave yard at night is there ? This one took awhile to get the information but less time to find. another multi closer to 500 for a challenge cache.

Came over to the 2019 mega in St Arnaud with Mogni. We where joined by jj52, Aussie M and M plus others at different times over the mega weekend. Many caches where found over the course of the 8 day trip. Targeting multi's on the way there and back plus the challenge trail in Mount Beckworth reserve. The creative trails around St Arnaud where the highlight of the trip.

After a walk up and down we finally found the cache. Big Grin

Time to head to our final location, we stopped on the way finding caches where we thought itm was suitable to stop with a caravan on.
Arrived into St Arnaud at 11am & have set up camp in the overflow section ner the club.
Following lunch & a rest we headed out of town to find some of the many caches around.
Thankyou for placing this cache strange quark1

Finding the information required was easy, finding the cache not so.
At the end of a long day chasing multis around Bendigo, and attending the event there, it was pretty tricky for me trudging up and down mullock heaps, but luckily Muggle Bubby eventually located it.
Thanks for the exercise, the history, the tour of the cemetery and the cache.

I did the walk around the cemetery late yesterday afternoon and got one coordinate wrong due to not reading the instructions carefully enough. This morning after listening to the rain all night, when we weren’t asleep in our comfy bed in the town. Before breakfast we went back to the cemetery and checked one bit of information to get one last bit of information which gave me coordinates much more likely near the railway line in the rain.
After breakfast we went back to the cemetery again and made our way as close as possible to GZ in the car as it was still raining, although it was abating. I donned my rain jacket and headed off through the trees, dodging the widest of the rivulets to GZ. Eureka! The next problem was extracting the cache. Luckily my small hand was just able to get it out, plus a few scrapes but no blood! As this cache was so interesting and the final Waypoint was my Great Great Grandparents grave, I’m giving this a favourite point.

During my time with a friend near Maryborough during Sat & Sun of the Easter weekend i have been eyeing this Multi off as my 1st cache on the Sunday arvo when i arrive back to St. Arnaud to stay for the night.

Got to the listed co-ords and began my journey around the graveyard grabbing the required info as i went. When i got back to my Geo-Mobile i calculated the Final Co-ords but something didn't look quite right but seeing Multi's aren't limited by distance like Mystery Caches i thought nothing of it. The only thing that didn't look quite right was the fact GZ had me in a paddock.

I drove off to sus it out and came up empty handed, so as one does, they re-do the calculations.
Head-Slap moment coz i forgot to 'add' something... D-Uh!

Off to the real GZ and a quick find was made and i found myself SL at 17:47 on Sunday the 21st of April 2019.

I like Multi's with lots of WP's and this one had plenty. I'm offloading a Favourite Point for it, i enjoyed doing it and had to have a laugh at my error ha ha Big Grin

TFTC. A wander through another well kept cemetery gathering information as we wander. Like the CO says older cemeteries do have too many young people. But they are a source of much history.

It was very interesting walking through collecting the information. It brought up many conversations about people’s ages, cemetery maintenance and costs. We really enjoyed this multi. The description was also set out very well as it was clear and easy to navigate through. Well done! A fav point from us. Found while spending the weekend in St Arnaud to attend an event with Mrs. ww2_nut and kids. TFTC

Day 2 of St Arnaud adventure with Mrs 4Moule and the GeoKids. Grabbing some caches before we head for home.
I always enjoy visiting cemetery locations. While I myself am not religious I find them very intriguing. The craftsmanship in the marble and ironwork is amazing. And the glass domes, just beautiful. It did lead to me pondering the cost involved in providing a final resting place for a loved one.. How does the income vs cost of burial compare back then to today? I think you got more visually for your money back in the day, don't you think?
I was also left wondering who tends to these old sites now? There was a lot of deterioration and scattered items, faded flowers, broken glass and such. Is there a grounds keeper who should do this? If not I wonder what the lush lawn cemetery might look like in 100 years when it becomes the old cemetery and left to fend for its self as it appears the heritage area is now. Maybe it'll just appear a paddock of over grown dead grass? Hmm.. So many thoughts. Cemeteries, always an interesting adventure. TFTC.

Thanks for the history.

After lunch, we (boo09, neisha07 & I) joined forces with the rest of Team Clarmensma (GemmaSistema, AdamSistema & LukeSistema) to make our way through the newest trail of awesome caches before nabbing a few of the rare few we've left un-found after multiple visits to the area. TFTC

Another caching afternoon for the annual St Arnaud events. Once again I teamed up with becca85 and our motley crew of kids (AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 & boo09) to form Team Clarmensma. With some time to spare before dinner we picked up some stray caches! Nice easy find here after some wandering and number crunching. Many thanks for the cache.

Loved having to go around the cemetery not too hard on my wheelchair. After miscounting one clue and getting confused by another as the description sends you one way and the waypoint another. We finally got the checker to say correct. Couldn't get all the way to the final find but got most of the way with my wheelchair perillius made the final grab and we both signed Smile

Found at 4:32 PM GAFF1.
Last cache for the day as it was getting pretty hot and we needed to get back to our camp and have a relaxing drink. A nice tour of the cemetery and then a bit of a scramble to get to GZ. Passed some lovely significant trees along the way.

My mothers family were early settlers in this district so my great great grandparents and my great grandparents are buried in this peaceful cemetery. When I visit St Arnaud I always stop here but this time an added excuse. It is always interesting to read headstones in old cemeteries and often very sobering to read of so many infants and children buried. TFTC Tyred and Cranky

I have just about a hundred caches to log so please excuse the generic log for a lot of very fine caches that was found and placed by a few different hiders. Still catching up on logging of all the caches that were found last weekend. New day has dawned (Sunday) and more caches to be found in the White Beast and this guy was the next on the list.
I like au.fait have family connections with this area so gathered the required details and then headed to GZ.
Cache was soon located, signed and I was on my way.
Thanks strange quark1 for another good placement just as well that stick is there.

What a pretty cemetary. Had to leave miss 11 in the car as she's not a fan of graveyards. The rest of us had fun getting all the clues for this one (including mr 14 in an electric wheelchair). Found the cache container easily. SL. TNLN. TFTC!

I had been hearing about the quality of caches in the St Arnaud area so I arranged to meet up with pprass for a couple of days caching, We were not disappointed with the caches we found in the area. This was day two of caching in the area and we were glad of cooler temperatures today. After having Dinner Pprass was done for the day but me being a few years younger was keen to grab a few more, so I headed out to find a few close to where we were staying. I always love doing cemetery caches, lots of hidden history to be found in them. Thanks strange quark1 for the cache.

The annual St Arnaud Events weekend again is on again. Today is day two, or day three if you count my half day of work on FridayBig Grin

Would you believe I actually found this cache on the same day last year but, for some unknown reason, never logged the find online. Today I drove into the bush as close to gz as possible then clicked the "found" button on the gps.

Thank you, strange quark1, for this cache.

GoodLook wanted to head to St Arnaud for the events there and needed a 4WD......hence Harry was put back into service Cool and we made the trip there and back without any mishaps Surprised
Considering that we spent around 3 hours in the Little Desert, playing in the sand, yet didn't get bogged at all that was impressive Razz
Over 3 fun filled days we experienced some great countryside [^] and great caches Cool, some fun times with the very friendly Victorians Big Grin and just a few mosquitoes too Wink
I had only 1 Sad DNF over the 3 days (bloody nemesis caches!Twisted), attended 4 Cool events and made 43 Smile cache finds some of which near St Arnaud were just absolutely amazing! CoolSurprised[^]Cool

What a lovely way to start the day of our journey back home [^]

Kaye and I finally got to do this multi - gosh we LOVED doing it! We got the cemetery very early and then enjoyed the stroll and collecting the information that was required to get the finals.

What an amazing 3 days spent with Locus Cache whilst on a girls caching trip! SurprisedWinkCool

We travelled from Adelaide to the lovely St Arnaud area to enjoy a weekend of fantastic events whilst finding a number of caches on the journey, in some spectacular locations...ohhh...and at times the conversations were so amusing we just couldn't stop laughing!! haha [:o)] Big Grin

Some of the stand out moments included driving into the Little Desert National Park and turning a 1.5*T into a 5*Terrain! So instead of being there for a 30 minute cache, we went on a 3 hour unexpected adventure!! SurprisedBig Grin

We saw kangaroos, emus, lots of birds and a whole heap of water due to recent heavy rains.

On the Saturday we spent all day with the gorgeous micaparamedic...LOL...and we not only found some awesome caches, but we literally BOUNCED all around Kaye's car -Harry- as we ventured on the many bush tracks...we even had conversations about all sorts of fruit - pineapples, blueberries and cherry tomatoes to be precise! Red FaceRazzWinkCool

All in all we attended 4 wonderful events this weekend, 3 in St Arnaud and even made it back in time to attend one of Freddo's very cool events in SA - GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X]

Thanks for the cache strange quark1! Smile
