Had a big look around GZ but couldn’t work out if it was in one of the boxes or not...no luck today
Thanks for the interesting container. Been out with Ruru_nz while she had extra time in Chch between flights. She made the find as my knee is not liking the cold.
Spending the day with KCN on the was back up to Taranaki. What else to do but go caching...
Last one for the day as its getting cold and has just started raining. Not many left around the airport for me now!
Could have been one of the fist, but parking this morning was nonexistent.
Took a while, but got it in the end! A favourite, despite it being at one of the places I hate to put my fingers.
Thanks for the smilie TheWanglers.

Well, with several hours to kill until our flight to Sydney, we decided to go caching. The most difficult aspect was figuring out how to walk from our hotel to the cache. I was pretty sure I knew where we needed to look. Not quite right, but then I got a sign from above and headed in the right direction.
I zeroed in on the host, but I am always a little nervous around electrical boxes, etc. Not to worry, there was the clever little devil. TFTC. Greetings from Canada.

Thought about wrangling the live cables box and then decided against it. Our 200th find! And our last night in NZ. Fabulous adventures including lots of caching. Hooray! TFTC
One of two caches on our way to the airport today. We turned into Russley Road from Memorial Ave and landed up driving more than 2.5 kms before we could turn around and head back to the cache on the correct side of the road. Presumably there are easier ways to get to it! Once we were there, it was a quick find. #1631. TFTC.
I had a bit of time before my flight home so stopped by to grab this one. Cache was a quick find, and I loved the themed container! Noticed that a recent finder was my cousin toffeepops. TFTC+Fav

Workmen here again. But they weren’t interested in me. Killing a few hours before I fly to Antarctica. Tftc.
I was staying near by for a night and before grabbing some dinner (ironically not at the restaurant you'd expect) we walked down to this cache.
We emerged from the car parks and went to one possible location before noticing the cache was getting further away and spotting the obvious location.
A nice easy find once at GZ.

Very quiet at 7am on a Saturday. Having vowed to never eat Macdonalds again over 16 years ago I find the article quite sickening!
I was out this way, thought I'd try a quick park and grab. The parking part was surprisingly easy. OK, I did a short walk and spotted the most likely location. Mmmmm. Unfortunately there were a group of local workers sitting at a picnic table nearby. There were unlikely to move. I hung around until I became uninteresting, and moved over to the GZ. Positioned myself on the other side of the post and leaned there fiddling with the phone. I was very exposed to motoring muggles but they were zooming past and not likely to observe me. It all "hinged" on the grab. I managed to swoop in and grab in one motion. Logged and replaced similarly. Phew. Thanks for this challenge. Entertaining as always. Cheers BJ25.
#2,840: French Fry Smiley!
I came to this one on a Monday Mad Mission with TW & TG. While we waited for new caches to be published (as you do), we went about collecting some unfound ones. TW performed some maintenance on this one, which gave me the opportunity to get my name on the fresh log.

A wee bit of spare time before the family was due to touch down so thought I'd best collect a few around the airport. This one's been here for long enough, so time to collect it. Nice we container. Cheers
Thank goodness this was a Sunday! The log book is full, had to write randomly within 2 other cachers' logs. Interesting placement! TFTC
A short jogging tour combined with gc in my last hours here in lovely NZ. Sweet container but logbook is completely full. Please renew! I put myself next to no3. Thanks for the hide
Down for the night for work. Walked here from the terminal and then realised I found this one before and forgot to log it. Ooops. Walked through a car park from the nearby road, no worries. TFTC!!!
This was our last day in New Zealand.
We have been here more than 3 weeks and had a very great time.
Before we got into the plane there was still time for geocaching.
After a short search we found it in his hidden place.
Thank you very much and greetings from Germany.

Found it while walking around waiting for the Antarctic place to open. TNLNSL. Thanks.
Took an evening stroll after dinner at our nearby hotel. This was located after a short search. Nice container TFTC
#8599. We came out of McDonald’s and “Mmm, next left” worked, in a funny way, just as well to get to GZ off Russley Road at Christchurch Airport. A family was leaving the picnic table nearby as we arrived, and it was all quiet afterwards. Quick find. Nice hide. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. (There are just three spaces left in the log book.)

In a round about way, I finally got to a handy car park and from there followed GPSr to GZ where I figured the cache may be. Waited for the traffic to thin then went in for the find, felt what I was looking for so away to sign the log nearby. Again between traffic the cache was returned to its spot. Thanks for the placement TheWanglers - neat container.
What else does a 72 year old geocacher doe when she has about 3 1/2 hours to wait to check in for flight home to Australia after Visigoths sister and some caching.
Answer go caching in the drizzle and cold. Nice not so easy walk (a little exhausted now) and grab.
Loved the cute cache container. Favourite from me.

A quick park and grab before we need to drop our rental car back off. Nice cache container. On our final day of an 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc TheWanglers. Find # 4072
A handy 90 minute layover in Christchurch on my way back to Nelson was just enough time to stroll out of the airport and grab a cache or two before boarding my next flight.
A nice novel container. Thanks

Catching up with the logging, so far behind! out caching from Auckland with rustynz and gorby
After a nice event at the airport the Westies, ivss_xx and me enjoyed this sunny day with geocaching.
We had a great time finding tradis, multis, puzzles and other interesting non-geocaching stuff.
Thanks to the cache owners for hiding the containers and thanks to ivss_xx and the Westies for this day full of fun!

Mmm, luckily someone else in the car had these co-ordinates, so it was a quick exit from the car, and a mass signing of the log. Loved the construction of the cache
Yep we got to eat fries later, but they where BK!
Caching with rebel98, Gorby, ivss_xx and Lorok for the afternoon.

By now I was in Ivar's car, he reckons it has never had 5 people in it before, so we're not sure how strong it is! But everything SEEMS ok! I mean, it hasn't broken down at all - at least not yet, so we arrived about where this cache is to do the final for "In Plane Site" mystery cache but we were parked up far from the final but Ivars commented there is a trad right here! It was this one, it would be rude not to come here since it was only a few meters away! The cache was found easily and it was rather appropriate for the cache title! Then we were off to get another cache.

That moment when you go to look for a certain cache but realize that you have arrived at the wrong place, however, there is completely unexpected cache right at the wrong place! Can always find a **rationale** for something that you did not quite in the right way.
Thanks for the cache!

In the area for business. Had some time tonight to do a little caching. Nice the rain stopped tonight. Quick Find. TFTC
A bit of time between flights today so we popped out to pick up this cache. A quick easy find, signed log and scurried back to airport. TFTC [^]
In transit for nearly six hours today and as it was a perfectly sunny winters day we went for a walk to make a few finds.
Find #3.
It took a while to find. First we found a magnet so thought that the container was a nano without a magnet. Eventually discovered the cool container. Did a temporary repair job and put it back where we found the magnet. NB two of the four magnets are loose so it could do with some tlc.

On my way to the airport, very early this morning, we picked this cache up. I'm very lucky I could bribe injeanious with caching to get a lift at 3.30am. She managed to put her hand on this one pretty quickly, signed log as jeje for jess.Daphne and injeanious to save space. Tftc!
I was dropping Jess.daphne off at the airport for her trip to Europe and 3:30 am is the perfect time to grab a few caches. This was our first stop. Neat little cache, made me kinda hungry. Tftc.
Had early flight but no time to chase a closish FTF opportunity. Settled for this as consolation at 615 am. Thanks
on our last cache tour in new zealand before departure to germany we could find some geocaches like this. tftc and greetings from germany
Went for a wander before catching our flight home after a fantastic week in the South Island. TFTC
Another day, another random drive to cache. We set off after lunch to find a few in the wider area, to see how far we get and what we can fit into an afternoon/evening. The weather was perfect - drizzle the whole day, turning into rain at times, meaning a general paucity of muggles A huge thanks to all CO's for their hides!!!
As we came in the middle of the night (for me at least...) no probs parking or retrieving the cache. Could be a different story in daylight Very fitting!!

Second find of the day while out with cache_puppies and our friend. We arrived near GZ and it was nice and quiet for a Friday evening. Walked over and saw what the title of the cache was referring to. Started looking and voila, our friend found it before we did! Excellent hiding place. Signed it and headed on our way to an event. Thank you.
Found after dropping off visitors at airport. Easy access on a Sunday afternoon. Nice hide, tftc!
Once again another one we found, but some how I didn't log. Nice container and again I have to say "TheWanglers" you have a way with containers. Thanks, Oh and I did drop off a bug at this location.
Parked up in the neibouring business carpark before making my way to the GZ. Had the cache soon to hand but not before a moment wonder what on earth I had hold of. I really unusual continer. TTFC
Found with Skaga after attending the Mega.
A pretty inventive cache container! Second last cache of our trip.

Headed out to the airport to drop one half of KFNZ off while the other gets to do more caching - yipee. Have seen this one so many times but never stopped to pick up, well today was the day finally. Nice easy find once we figured out how to get in here.

There's always time to sneak in one last cache before you have to return the hire car and go back to reality... easy parking this evening! TFTC.
#2076 Found with nic-jay after the MEGA festivities. An interesting hide! Can't say I've seen one of these as a cache container before. TFTC!
Parked up nearby and wandered over to this one. Only so many places it could be, and after a quick hunt it was in hand. Felt strangely hungry afterwards too. Nicely done - TFTC
Flew over from Sydney Australia for the weekend with snoopy1976, contactpete and spy79 for the Mega event. This cache was either part of the cache-o game or one I needed to fill in my hide calendar. SL #2271 on streak day #1207 TFTC
WE CAME OVER FOR THE NZMEGA AND WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED.
Thank you for a great event.
we had a blast learning about Christchurch and surrounding areas, With RIS768, SPY70, SNOOPY1976.

After having to go back to the rental to get a replacement for my car, and having missed the flashmob, I might as well do this one as I was driving right past it.. It's been replaced and now that one is off my list

Found with whiskasnz as we were gallivanting around Christchurch looking for stamps in caches for our bingo sheets and also collecting some random caches on the way. Gets a fav. tick for the cool container. Such fun. TFTC
Found with dakotacats on a busy caching day as part of the Mega. Thanks for the placement.
Out caching with Team FARKIS (fmz, alpenmilch80, rosmar, kiwi.bug, indianajill, slieschke) while down for the CHC mega event. Couldn't spot this one.
We flew over 20500 kilometers to get to New Zealand. [^] There in Queenstown we started our magnificent and unforgettable journey along the whole NZ. First we drove through south island and then the north island to Auckland. Altogether over 3000 kilometers by car and so many glorious and beautiful views, animals and plants we saw. [^] We fell in love with the country for life. Unfortunately we had only three weeks to spend for our holidays, but we really hope, we’ll be back.
This was nice and delicious. Very quick though. Thanks for the cache and very many greetings from Finland.

Today was a stamp collection day. Mycro Man and the fairy half decided we would do all the caches that had stamps in them. Total round trip of 260km approximately and a few of them had missing / stolen stamps. Mycro Man really enjoyed finding the caches and stamping the stamps. There were a number of really nice caches and we interspersed a few of the caches with high favourites amongst the list. Thanks for all the caches.
First one when we arrived in Christchurch for mega Event..
Had such a wonderful time !!!

Just off the plane, so not time to visit M yet, however, quick find of cache. Tftc.
I looked and I looked and I looked.. and found nothing. It knew it had to be at least a certain size because of one of the contents in it.. but apparently it's already gone..
