I am rather disappointd to log a DNF for this cache, because I *really* love the giant caterpillar.
The Skink and I searched every nook and cranny, under, behind, above the seats. We also ranged further afield, but still no luck. [:o)]
Having since seen Gans' photo of the redback spider under the seat, I am pleased I was wearing thick builder's leather gloves.
However, the visit was not a complete waste, as I did a quick CITO clean up of the ground around the caterpillar.

I did a thorough search over, under and all about and didn't see any redbacks or the cache. Interesting sculpture though. Thanks for showing it to us.

[Pink]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here, the detail of the find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.

Quick easy find today whilst heading back home

This is what I love about geocaching. Would probably never have come here, even though we are staying just over the road, had it not been for the cache. And I loved it! Thanks redcenterdazza!

Now, here's me thinking that I was about to get on my hands and knees again at normal caterpillar level. How wrong was I. A striking display of local art with a cache to boot.

This is a most impressive piece of art. So well done. Plenty of possible hiding spots so we were lucky to locate the cache container quickly.

After another very enjoyable breakfast with The Drovers the again kindly took me out for a great days caching.
We had heard of the Caterpillar dreaming earlier on this trip when 2Lost_Souls mentioned the origins of the MacDonnell Ranges, this cache page has filled in a lot more of the beliefs of the Arrernte people.
We have to say this is the first cache we have searched for while listening to traditional music, which made it easy to just listen to the music when a muggle came to close.
It took us quite a few minutes of searching before we were able to locate the hide and add our names to the log.
Again many thanks redcenterdazza for showing us this location and the history around it.

Travelling around Australia, and we are now camped at the showgrounds in Alice Springs.

After a long and relaxing breakfast with Team Crackers, we headed out to locate some
caches around Alice Springs. With a good variety of hides & containers, we were keep
well entertained for most of the day. After a short search, the cache was located.
Log was full, so we put in a new one.

Just love a cache in a cultural location, loved the area and would not have known about it without your cache. A fave for it. Visited with Wayamba wundarra my TB TFTC.

Waiting for a plane to catch in the afternoon, we had a pic-nic in the nearby park and went to search for the cache afterwards. Unfortunately, we apparently didn't "take the good seat" and hence didn't find the cache.

After our adventure with you yesterday, this is another great spot and again this one is another example of the effort you have gon to to provide us with interesting information and is a favourite from me.
Visited a group of trackables who reached the 2 Million cache yesterday and are looking for a new challenge.

Taking the geodog on her daily walk, nice to have a cache so close to home. Wondered what this sculpture was, now I know. Thank you Redcentredazza for showing me to this spot just up the road.
