Logs
Im back in Darwin for a week visiting family and today I met up with low1 for some geocaching. I had a quick look for this one during my last visit, without success, but today I found it straight away. Last time I was looking more on the other side of the tree. Logbook signed and replaced as found. All good here. Tftc
Headed over to Darwin for a break with tmann421.Really enjoying the weather and the challenges of the hides.Logs signed tm/ww NZNice quick find here .Thanks to the cache owner for their efforts
Nice time out with woolwood9 today. Day 5 of our 9 days in and around Darwin. We had a tougher day with quite a lot of DNF'sSL *tm/ww NZ* *Thanks for the reason to visit this area of Darwin!* Took a lot of searching to uncover this one.
No luck today….. we had a good look, but there are plenty of caches in front of us today…
First geocache I’ve found in a while. It was a good hide but found it pretty quick tftc
We looked for quite awhile for this one. It is definitely well hidden. We were getting set to call a DNF, when Mrs Domsky suddenly spied a piece of tell-tale wire.
Tugging gently at the wire soon revealed the goods and also a big smile from us.
Thanks corunnaroad

TFTC bit of a search came up with the goodies. Thank you for hiding. With geo buddy Jot205
Has been a while since someone discovered it. Had a very thorough look but couldn't find any wire or cache. Hopefully I am just blind and it is still there
Found it on 12/03/2020! Accidentally loged the wrong cache before! The log book unfortunately is wet and would need a replacement! Thanks for hiding!
Easy find. Chose not to write on log because it was very damp and probably would ha e disintegrated. Thanks for hiding.
Quick find given its the dreaded Banyan tree.
As Pavnco said, the old cache container is there also.
Visited 5 TB.

I'm generally terrible at searching Banyans. However imagine my surprise when I found 2 caches for the price of one! Looks like the disabled one was still there! Have placed them next to one another to avoid confusion until the cache owner rectifies the situation. TFTC!
Found this one while up in Darwin visiting family, catching up on some logs.
Thanks for a geocaching trip around Darwin.

An easy find, thanks for the clues, so far that is the only fig tree that I have been happy to look at TFTC
TFTC Beginning to develop a dislike of Babylon tree caches but a nice quick find ~Clammy & Mr.CK~
Found (dry and reasonably intact) logsheet on the ground near tree, then lid, then rest of the container. Signed log, put it all back together again and rehid.
Thanks corunnaroad for the cache.
Thanks corunnaroad for the cache.
My last one in Darwin and NT before I fly home to Sydney later today. Took me one circuit of the tree before I spotted it. TFTC
A couple of young virtual monster hunters came along to discover geocaching. I think they liked it. We found a at night after seeing the hint.
Found this one a while ago but was a little lazy so i am back-logging it. This one was nice and easy and i didnt have to reach too far in!! TFTC
Find No: 6039. Visiting from Newcastle, finally in Darwin after our 3 week stay in Alice awaiting a new engine for the Mighty Prado, thanks for the cache corunnaroad!!
Now visiting Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
First day out and about for Mrs Felix since knee surgery last week. Mr Felix did all the hard work most of the day, only when some extra encouragement was needed did she lend a hand.
Managed to enjoy some beach views and even have Fish n Chips for lunch.
Pretty warm and steamy by the afternoon. so we called it quits before it got too late.
Soo many micro's today, guess we are in the city again. [B)]
Had to dodge a smoking muggle here, so outwaited her whilst we ate an icecream.

Darwin Day 6
We started where we stopped yesterday. Picked up a few others that previously had DNFs on them on the way.
A good variety of caches found in various locations
Thanks for placing this cache corunnaroad

Cache was a bit closer to ankle-height, and log quite damp. Hopefully it will dry out with the dry season upon us. Replaced cache a little higher up. Thanks for the cache
Alice trip 2017. Day 18. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the day caching in and around Darwin. For a southerner it was a hot sticky day. Plenty of caches with lots of DNFs but at least it did not rain.
Thanks.

#7033 - 09:15; Day 20 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We had now reached Darwin, our most northerly port, after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. After a night in a cosy bed in an airconditioned room were were up and out early for a day of caching in and around Darwin. Managed 37 finds, but an eye watering 10 DNFs. Not sure what the obsession with nanos is in this part of the world. Cachers going a bit troppo maybe All caches located were in good order, including this one. TFTC corunnaroad
13481. Next find of Day 10 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. In Darwin.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

Day 2 of our (fitzy_1965, LuckyL10n, albida33 and myself) stay in Darwin. It was a mixed bag of a day with about 42 finds, but also about 30 DNF or DNA because of the DNF's, but or course you get that somedays.
The ones we found were a mixture of micro's and small and a lot were in interesting places. Caching in the NT is different to the southern states, so a day of 40 odd is a good return....especially with a bit of sightseeing thrown in as well.
Thanks for all the caches owners and the fun in grabbing them.

Found at knee height. Log signed, paper bone dry thanks. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Needed a cache to cheer me up after waving goodbye to the kids at the airport. This was a dnf on my previous attempt but today it appeared easily. TFTC
Lovely little spot have been visiting here for years, cool to find a cache here. Found more so around ankle height...some local paraphernalia hidden nearby as well gave me a laugh...tftc
Found quite some time ago this is a cute little one , usually one I will take friends to see as its obvious but still tricky to fresh eyes
Our 2nd find took us a while before Mr Bushies22 spotted it. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from Kununurra W.A.
Found on our second try (much easier in daylight). Muggles around but trying to be sly. Didn't need to clean my glasses but thanks, might check my electrics, is it a ticket to nowhere?
I think we were right on it but had gotten too dark yesterday, try again another day. Three misses today but son still keen.
We were in the area and decided to have another crack at this cache which we had failed to find previously.
After the usual 10 mins of poking around Cat came up with the cache.
Glad to finally tick this one off our list.

Thankfully hardly any green ants - must say trees aren't my thing, especially not after hunting in Darwin. Lucky for us Vic spied something and whilst I was investigating I spied what we were really after. TFTC.
Today we explored Darwin and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Less time for geocaching this day, only these was possible and an easily found.

I came back and had the cache in a couple of seconds. Don't know why I didn't find this the first two times I tried to find it. TFTC
Had another look still a frowning face for me. Might be worth a check up on this cache. I could be blind it has happened before.
Came for a run saw a nearby cache stopped for longer than I should have but no smiley to prove it. Will have to come back and check this one out again.
Well I did feel like I was nowhere in particular and found the cache equal to an ants knee height. At least I was the only one about at the time.

#32. 3rd one for the day. TFTC. These kids are getting good at sniffing them out.
That’s one more find for me! Thanks so much for hiding this geocache.
Left a new log book in new plastic bag. Last finder left a piece of paper so included their name on the new log book. In Darwin for a few days to visit family so while they work I play. SL TNLN TFTC
