Logs

16-Feb-22
Agree with Capperz on the coordinates, they were about 18m out for me. My phone indicated somewhere up a driveway (which it wasn't).
Used the hint and had just signed and replaced when a car appeared.

08-Feb-22
Found it.
You don't realised how mean pipes there are till you won't a servant one.

24-Nov-21
Hi all, I have moved away from the area and have not been able to maintain the cache so a big thank you to @nette1234 and @jag50 who have picked up the slack I have left. <3

17-Nov-21
Found the (replacement) cache and log at 18 metres from indicated, and unlikely, GZ. Signed and replaced as found.

Good to see the weather is starting to improve a little, though typical it's during the working week at the minute. I had to take my geo-mobile in for a windscreen chip today and wiper blade so decided to do a couple whilst I was out and about. Just the 3 finds, but good to get two which I had failed at before, including one that was threatening to become a nemesis cache (brer rabbit). Thanks to the COs for their hides.

28-Sep-21
Another spot I'd never been to before...and easy find, and while soaking wet, it has benefited from a waterproof log...cheers V.

08-Apr-21
Out with Supernannny to do some geocaching after lunch in Coatesville, we stopped off to collect this one. S/N had already found this one so was able to help locate the cache. The log had disintegrated, so we added some waterproof paper with our name on it.

15-Sep-20
Worked out the pipe lines with out much of a problem. TFTC

15-Feb-20
Found. GPS showed down a driveway which we knew wouldn’t be correct. After reviewing activity, cache was soon signed.

01-Feb-20
Here today with previous finder.
We found rusted mint tin.
Replaced with plastic tube that won't rust.
Hope that's ok .

26-Jan-20
It was time to head back out to Sanders Reserve to find all the new caches that had appeared this week. I left early to find a few more on the way and to complete the walk before it became too hot.

My GPS pointed me further away but logic took over and I searched the only place this could be. Quickly located the cache, but it has completely rusted shut and I was unable to open it and sign the log.

26-Jan-20
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

21-Jul-18
After a nice wander around the prison track with alpenmilch80 and greenblat, a80 and I looked to grab a couple more before calling it a day.

Needed a bit of hunting around here, but after reading previous logs we stuck with the obvious and the soggy cache was soon in hand. Too wet to write, but took a photo if needed. TFTC

21-Jul-18
Enjoying a muddy stroll through the paremoremo reserve with evilno9 & GreenBlat. Afterwards evilno9 and I tried this one. Log is very wet and needs some TLC. TFTC

18-Mar-18
Had just finished doing some caches in Paremoremo reserve for a particular challenge cache however due to Mrs NZTs dodgy knee we abandoned the one half of the reserve and headed back to the car and thought we might try a few park and grabs on the way home.

Noted that this cache was just a short drive up a side road and thought it was worth an attempt, we especially like trying to find one that has a DNF on it.

Arrived at GZ and reading the hint and a couple of logs stating that the co-ords were off we soon found what we believed to be GZ.

Mr NZT made the find and signed the log. Think we can do a couple more before we head for home.

Well you can buy a house nearby Big Grin

Probably a little out of my price range, and taste! love the chandelier Wink

A tricky sneaky find, helped with the hint photo, as the GPS was about 9 m out. With a bit of a reach the cache was ours. Thanks for the hide, and bringing us here.

16-Mar-17
Our gps was telling us we needed to go onto private property, but we spied the pipes and after a brief search we had the log signed. Nice property for sale nearby... a bit beyond my price range though!

13-Jan-17
This cache is in an interesting subdivision. I had to act coy while looking as one of the locals was in her garden nearby. I went to the wrong place at first but found cache in the end.TFTC

23-Aug-16
Added new log and repaired broken lid
All ok

10-Jul-16

08-Jul-16
Good start to the caching venture! Was pretty easy to find but remember to bring a pen along with you

06-Jul-16
Out and about for a drive in the country and then a walk in the bush. Not to mention a spot of geocaching along the way. Parked up near GZ and followed my nose to the obvious spot and executed a super quick find. Coordinates were about 20m out for me. After completing the formalities I recovered. Cheers for the cache placement!

26-Jun-16
Hint was a bit confusing so I ignored it and found the cache

After a successful day of Puppy hunting going for a few more on the way home. TFTC

01-Feb-16
For a supposed quiet almost private lane it was like rush hour on the motorway here today. Crossed fingers for a quick find and the crossed fingers worked.

14-Jan-16
Went out this evening with yorkshirekiwi83 to find a few caches around the Riverhead/Coatesville/Paremoremo area, before it got dark. Soon found the cache here, but the co-ords were a little bit out. TFTC!

Was heading out for an evening chasing numbers with Vistra as I wanted my 9000th before the end of my holidays, targetting these in the upper reaches of Auckland as they looked like quick driveby's and with 8 new ones recently that certainly helps. This was about 20m out on our gps, but the hint made it a quick easy find. TFTC

11-Apr-15
Someone had laid a new concrete driveway and my GPS took me down that so I ignored it and followed the clues straight to it. Nice hide

05-Apr-15
GPS had us metres away so we used geo-instinct and soon had the wee cache in hand. T4tc

24-Mar-15
When I got here, I could see the co-ords are out again. This time 21m out. Just as well C.O. had a good clue!

11-Feb-15
Log book needs attention

08-Feb-15
Found this one quickly as was where we suspected. GPS was way off. Added paper for log as it needs replacing. TFTC

08-Feb-15
Found, co-ords seem way off though. Was looking for something very sneeky but no, just looking in the wrong place. Log is a indistinguishable pile of paper. Scribbled my initials on a little scrap I could find.

Had a call out to the big house so made the most of the opportunity to collect a few caches along the way. No, they weren't going to lock me up for unsolicited caching activities contrary to KDC, rather it was to seal the buggers in better.
This was the first on the way as was unsure about how much time i would have so they were just quick little grabs on on the way once more

thanks for the placement

14-Jan-15
Nice quick find in the first place we looked. TFTC

10-Jan-15
Quick find, but the cords were 25m out for me. Thanks

12.15pm. Ha ha!! it took a second more careful look to locate this one. Luckily none of the neighbours were in evidence. Left a signature pathtag.

On a mission today for our 50 caches km apart. Helefant was along for the ride too, so we have signed logs DJH - Darby&Joan, Helefant, for speed and saving space. This was find #17. Wow this road went on and on, never been down here before. Fortunately very quiet at GZ to make a quick find. SL. TFTC. Cool

23-Nov-14
Hitching a ride with Darby&Joan for a day of caching, with company including a driver (pure luxury).
Although I had already done this challenge, it was a great opportunity to up my number of finds.
Quickly picked the right spot. TFTC

15-Jun-14
now here we where mopping up some straggler caches in the area.. after a late breakfast game of test the local cafes... was expecting to drive up to the name... save to say the cache was easier to find then trying to use the hint?? ( not to often we see it that way around;-) ) Bet it was a nice spot before lifestyle block ville moved in...

23-May-14
Nice quick grab after work.

Coordinates were way off. I found myself on private property feeling very awkward.

Found on my way back to the car.

Find #442. Thanks for the cache. 23/05/2014 17:44

Real easy this one

TFTC. Great hint, but bad coordinates. 22 m out today

Another Cool Cache - neat hide Big Grin

We managed to grab this cache whilst travelling around this wonderful country on holiday from the UK - we decided to have a rather BIG day caching. Therefore, during our move up North from Auckland to Omaha region we did a 'little' detour to collect as many as we could Smile

Sorry for the late logs, we have only just returned to a PC to log our mission.

Many thanks for the cache. We have signed the log as T2Sir & Lady Harveyjj & B.D.I.s Big GrinBig Grin and dipped our trackables Cool

09-Mar-14
Found today with Sir & Lady Harveyjj.Smile

Please forgive the generic log as I'm logging as & when I have access to wifi so details of individual caches have become hazy, however that does in no way detract from the time and effort you as CO have put into your hide - that's very much appreciated.
We're in New Zealand on an extended holiday and have loved every minute of it.
We're very grateful to you for placing caches which have led us to some of the most beautiful places on the planet.

The logs have been signed either in our individual caching names or as T2 (being Sir & Lady Harveyjj plus B.D.I's)
Cache returned safely from whence it was found.

Thank you and greetings from the UKBig Grin

With our GPS's having problems we had to rely on the hint to help us find it. Initially didn't find it in the first place we look so checked for any other possibilities in the area. Not finding any, we returned to the original spot and found it quickly. TFTC.
