This one was last found **11/04/2015** and has twelve consecutive DNF's and a Needs Maintenance log, Not sure what's happened to 'regular maintenance' here but perhaps it's time for this one to go!

Didn't find this one despite being there with 2 previous finders....think it is gone
This one eluded us today however I did notice it has been a year since it was last found. Perhaps the owner could check if it is still there?
Hi it has been a year since this was last found with many DNFs in that time. Could you please check if it is still there? Thank you

After Sorceysal and I finished the fish series in 2 1/2 days, we decided to head to Maitland and beyond to grab a few more caches in a more relaxed day, without the haste. Tess the geodog also enjoyed the heaps of walks today, and the great variety of hides.
This was a nice little challenge, hard to believe teens couldn't get to it, and me in my 50's had no issues.
Thanks again for a cache with a difference clan greenwood

Day 6 of our epic and memorable road trip. After completing the fish series in 2 1/2 days it was time to head further north for a relaxing day. A lot of walks and good company made for a pleasing day of caching.
Took a bit of climbing to get this one as I had it spotted whilst BH made the climb for the very interesting camo. Thanks clan greenwood

Good hide! We found the cache but it is inaccessible to most and even as completely able teenagers we could not retrieve it and write our names in the logbook! Needs to come down lower!
So.... I am visiting Adelaide for work on Monday, as normal brisal5 and I decide to attempt some geocaches.... we were going to find some geoart but oops we got distracted along the way finding a huge variety of other geocaches instead. Not as many numbers but lots more fun. thank you to all the cache owners for putting out so many great caches on the Yorke Penninsula. Apologies for the generic logs but my notes were useless, and my memory also not so good.
Lucky for me I have a 'tool' that helps me retrieve this type of cache.

Plan A: A weekend to YP with mogni to do some geo-art caching. Of course we just had to stop and break the drive. Okay..time to go to Plan B. Cache till lunch, then go and start the geo-art and finish it in the morning. So after lunch in Minlaton. Plan C: Cache around Minlaton, go to our overnight digs in Hardwicke Bay and up early for the geo-art. Me and the geo-widow got married across the road and had our reception in this Toad Hall. Lucky she kissed me and I turned into a prince. Lucky for mogni her geo-tool (me) was about to get to this one. Thanks clan greenwood.
While staying at the Port Vincent Foreshore Caravan Park went out Geocaching with Demon41 TNLN thanks clan greenwood Try again next time !
Due to this cache disappearing a couple of times my son has placed it further into its hiding place making it trickier to get to and more difficult to find. Definitely not one for everyone to find.
I have just had a look myself and this cache seems to be missing. I will come back tonight to have a more thorough look incase it has crept armed with a replacement if need be
Half hour stop while driving bus for Venturer Scout reef and wreck divers.
Yes I climbed the tree.
And I was seen, and told about it later in Port Vic !! Oops.
Sorry catching up on logs as Virgin/optus reception pretty average on YP,
but I believe this may be fixed already, so will return asap and climb again
Red ribbon on cache tree nice touch, but may be only for xmas!
Thanks Clan Greenwood, we'll be back

Found on our way down to Marion Bay and Innis National Park. This was my first time coming this way, so it was a good opportunity for new caches.

Out for another day of caching on the Yorke Peninsula with Alansee and Micaparamedic.
We pulled up here and had a bit of a search in logical locations before we thought to read the terrain rating, even then it took a couple of minutes to locate. Micaparamedic then soon had the cache in hand and our names were duly added to the log.
To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Thanks again for the cache.

Another day on the Yorke Peninsula with alansee and Team Crackers for our assault on the Yorke Peninsula. Most logs have been signed as MAC. Some really interesting hides made for an enjoyable experience. Had a great day, thanks so much clan greenwood for placing the cache.
After a DNF earlier in the day, we spotted the cache this time.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we had to move house (caravan) from Coobowie to Minlanton so only attempted some multi's near Coobowie before we headed off.
With very mixed results we hit the road Jack! On arrival at Minlanton we dumped the vans and headed for Point Turton. Having seen some of the 50th birthday clan earlier in the week we were disappointed to have been too early for these caches but a return trip saw us knock these over today at high tide.
Quick grab on the way through.

We spent a very entertaining few hours travelling around Minlaton doing caching. This was one we targetted and found. Nice work. Thanks to clan greenwood.
The Parrot went for a drive around Yorkes for a couple of days and this was one of the many caches I found along the way.
Todays journey was from Yourke town to Maitland.
We collected caches along the highway & venturing off to some of the country roads for others.
A nice variety of caches found.

Day 4 of our epic expedition within SA. specimenX and myself had found the FT trail last night and solved all the puzzles in preparation for today. We set off nice and early (starting at 7:30am) and we didn't return home (place of current residence) until 11:30pm. It was a very long day however very enjoyable. We picked up a couple of caches on route to the powertrail and commenced the trail at 10:05am and we completed the last cache at 15:29pm of the powertrail. Including breaks for lunch and rest breaks, it works out to be about a cache every 2 minutes. Can't complain about that
We had heaps of fun today on the trail, I was the designated driver and specimenX was the hyped up runner. Once again, VERY strong coffee came into play this morning. specimenX was soo hyped up, at one stage her feet were in the air and her head in the ground.... ummm what the??? [:o)] On a number of occasions, specimenX would go so fast, her feet were left behind and she would almost face plant the caches.... excited much?
specimenX had a run in with a pollen tree, that decided it didn't like her, and it "poofed" all over her.... it just exploded, literally.... and she was covered from head to toe in pollen. OMG we lost it, I couldn't breath and specimenX couldn't control herself with laughter. Absolutely great day all round.
On our way to the PT, we passed through Minlaton, and OMG we were salivating over the caches there, so OFC we made our way there after the PT to do a clean up. We decided that 200 was our target today, this would be both of our largest caching days. We cleaned up Minlaton with all but 2 DNF's and one we didn't attempt as it was outside the CO's house (not trotting through gardens or shining torches at 9pm at night, don't feel comfortable doing that). We the headed back towards Port Wakefield to wind up our day of caching. The cache "Ruined" was a deal breaker for both myself and specimenX however, specimenX had a trip on some rusty wire and it could have been very nasty however walked away physically unhurt. I then opened the cache to find my biggest fear inside which was a trackable and I almost ran home to Canberra. The fear it put in me turned me very pale and made me feel very sick. Why do people make those 8 legged freaks into trackables or place fake ones in caches??? It drives me insane [:(!]
At the end of the night, we had some much earned dinner at the Port Wakefield truck stop and made our way home. We can now successfully conclude we completed 203 caches !!!! (and 2 DNF's )
Thanks to Fishy Tales for the awesome powertrail and thanks to all the other CO's for the caches we collected today [^][^][^] Now its time for some much earned sleep as we both have to be up nice and early to make our travels over to Murray Bridge for the Oz Mega 2014 [^]

Trail06 asked how far and Team Waldren said a few metres up. So up i went and sure enough I found Jeremiah Bullfrogs cousin happily sitting on a branch. A few ladies came out of the hall and I am not sure what they thought of a grown man up the tree. I felt more like Zacchaeus than Moses today. Gave it a favourite.
Explaining to an officer of the law what you were doing here could be interesting!
Clear skies to clan greenwood from TeamAstro.
What better way to spend an Australia Day long weekend than on a caching safari around the Yorke Peninsular [^]
Astro and I made our way down one side then up the other of the peninsular, finding lots of great caches along the way and enjoying the fantastic weather and scenery, not to mention the roads!
This was one of our finds for the weekend.

Spent 4 days on Yorke Penisnula in attempt to try and clear the map again and once again I failed, looks like another trip is needed.
Most of the time I travelled alone but caught up with locus cacher, CPWanderer, Laughside Legend and Dr Owl on the Saturday.
Clocked up around 1000 kilometres and did some amazing walks with spectactular views. Thanks to all the cache hiders.
Acted like a monkey grabbing this one. TFTC.

Located on Christmas eve while watching the parade. Signed log on Boxing Day.
Staying at the Port Vic park we drove to Minlaton to buy a pastie for lunch.
I think that there must be something cryptic about this one as I read the previous logs.
Didn't find nor sign.
There was a certain place, but reading the previous I don't think that it was relevant.

A busy weekend in town with a market going on near the GZ! AussieMary spotted the prize and I made the retrieval!!! A favourite!!!
CPwanderer arrived back in Oz from his US adventure and decided that a trip to the Yorke Peninsula was in order. We decided that it would be nice to join him picking up the few that he hadn't already completed. The sun was shining, the snakes were slithering, and the caching was fun. All is right with the world. We ended up with 62 finds without a DNF, and only had to phone a friend once.
Well, how do you increase the difficulty level? Do this cache on market day. Somehow we managed to make this retrieve as people moved to and from the market. CP made the find. Nice contrainer. TFTC greenwoods.

With the promise of fantastic spring weather and a long weekend allowing for an extended caching trip, locus cache, clare007 and I made our way to the central region of the Yorke Peninsula with the aim of cleaning out as many caches as we could. TFTC clan greenwood!
What a fantastic couple of days! [^]
Sunday and Monday I enjoyed the company of RideTheGeoWalrus and Clare007 as we cached in an area that I have not cached in before.....therefore I enjoyed what is now a rare concept for me......not having to dodge previously found caches in order to find a cache to locus cache on
We found dust, mud, caches, views, trees and lots of laughs as we drove around and exhausted ourselves doing 115 smileys with 9 DNFs (although we went back later and got finds on several of these DNFs) and one event attended...with only us three there It's always good to CITO!
With CO's permissions, we also did quite a bit of cache maintenance as many logs were full or wet or both and several containers were broken or missing.
If any CO whose cache we visited really wants their old log back, then email me and I will try and work out which old log it is and return it to you.
Poor Toad of Toad Hall.
He bit off more than he could chew...but we didn't as we had RideTheGeoWalrus with us and he made finding this cache as easy as kissing a prince!
