### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there Geocaching-SA,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

This evening, I headed south east to Monarto to chase a FTF. As it turned out, no one else appeared to be competing with me tonight. It then gave me the opportunity to find a few other geocaches in the area, and so I headed to Monarto Woodlands Conservation Park. It wasn't the wisest decision to go for a walk without a proper torch (relying on my mobile phone's torch only), and during the first few, I jogged in the low light between caches, and then tried to rely on my partial night vision to guide me. Once the sun had set and I had lost all light, my phone's light was utilised, and I still managed to arrive back to my car with sufficient battery left. I did enjoy exploring this area this evening, even if I did wack my face with a few low lying branches, and as it wasn't a cold night, it was a nice little fitness session.
My first cache in this section tonight. I managed to make the quick find, but the older container still present here is pretty well destroyed. There is a new cache container that appears ok, however the logbook is also somewhat damaged. Thanks Alex and Geocaching-SA for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This cache comes with a thermometer! It’s been a cold morning, the current reading is 14°C - feels colder.
Thanks for the cache, and thanks OZGrumpy for the repairs. Log is dry.
Id take some deep breaths, but you can still smell the chickens from here.

A day out sailing was abandoned when the wind came up, so decided on a caching walk instead.
We particularly like caching with a trail and a walk.
The cache is a bit motheaten and could do with some TLC.
Thanks for the opportunity to get a breath of fresh air Geocaching SA

Last find for today, looking a bit worse for wear, could use some TLC (the cache, not me, lol!) SL TNLN a big spider has taken up residence!
Out for a day of caching with the Owl to help her towards the 9,000 find goal, I was dragged along for the company. An easy find but the cache is in urgent need of attention. The container is brittle and has holes and the cache contained a lot of water. The logbook is a slimy mess but Owl was able to make a mark to record our visit.
Thanks for the cache Geocaching SA.
Thanks for the cache Geocaching SA.
With the aim of reaching 10,000 finds in Millicent next year and a caching year gone to custard, Owl decided she needed a serious power trail - but one she'd enjoy. So she collected a Fish and set out. At a nearby stop to check directions she realised there was a perfectly good trail of caches to find. So they did. Unfortunately, this one is in need of serious TLC, as the container is badly damaged.
Met up with a friend and went walking here today. This was our first find. Unfortunately the container here has degraded and needs replacing. We were not carrying spares today so it will need CO maintenance.

After spending a few days in and around Adelaide concentrating on Wherigo, Letterbox and large caches, it was now time to head for home with a stop here and there to find the odd cache.
I stopped at this one to see if I could find it and I did.
As there is a large cache nearby, I had to stop here and find a few.
**Thanks to Geocaching-SA for placing this cache.**

Today was the last day of Steptember; I needed a few more steps before I headed to my parent's place for the weekend. This little slip of Monarto was on the way and the geodogs enjoyed the walk over the tinder dry ground.
Spent the morning wandering through the Monarto Woodlands Conservation Park finding caches. Found all caches in this area (along with 2 fat possums in some bird-boxes). A good series of caches - all logs signed.
Walking amongst the lovely coppery mallees was a great way to spend a few hours on this beautiful Mother's Day. TFTC
Nutso (my grandson) came with me but he was more interested in looking for snakes and lizards. We saw two kangaroos. Thanks for the walk.

Today we decided that we needed to clean up some of the caches that are not right on the highway that we drive pass each time we head into Adelaide .We nearly did not make the trip today, the alarm was set for five am but it was raining so the decision was made not to go so back to sleep we went. When we woke again it was overcast but not raining, decision made, lets go. This was a good decision as there was not a spot of rain once we started our hunt.
Today we are trying to complete the Walkies and also the three Keep Active caches that have been waiting for so long. The cache container was a pleasant surprise as there appears to be so few of these out there these days.

Headed out today with earthlight to tackle the Walkie series and the rest of the Keep active series, while the girls walked it i rode my mountain bike, the plan was to get to the end and then i ride my bike back to get the car, riding the bike through here was really cool except the ground slowly got progressively sandier as we made our way to #1 so i had to walk the bike a fair bit towards the end, we ended up walking together back to the car as we kept stopping to grab the cans and bottles on the way back and i ended up with quite a lot of cans and bottles in the end : ) was a great series to do and we are glad the weather was on the cooler side today, we saw a couple of roos and heaps of different species of birds. A quick detour of our day out doing th walkies series, I followed my fellow geocachers and we found the cache.

I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
Found at 10:25 on a perfect morning, with a mass of other cachers

Keeping Active... too active if you ask shonky smurf. Found with a large group of people out doing the walkies series... Left a baby bath thermometer in the cache in exchange for some slinky springs from the other series
Found with lots of other cachers early on a Saturday morning with lots of geo-dogs.TFTC
This started as an outing organised by SEMIK and Andy Columbia that I was invited along to, but it soon grew into a sizeable group who defied the early hours of Saturday morning to do this series. We managed to get the full twenty one caches in this series and a few others scattered around along the way. This was followed up by a short trip into Murray Bridge for a celebratory lunch!
Thanks to all who made it for a really pleasant walk through the scrub and TFTC Geocaching-SA!

Started out walking fast but by now we had slowed down enough to enjoy the reserve.
A nice day out caching. First a motorbike ride through the Adelaide Hills with Locus Cache. A nice cool day on the bike and just pleasant when we stop.
THEN TTROGG suggests we tackle the "Wakies" series at Monarto. Off we go. Some first to finds and a great day colecting some other caches.
Thank you Geocaching-SA for placing this cache for us to find!
Found on a pleasant and enjoyable afternoon caching down this way with Gordon Patrick Samuel and locus cache.

GPS and I set out for a ride on our bikes this mroning and along the way, they found a few geocaches while I found 1
Then a phone call from ttrogg changed our plans and we rode our seperate ways to our homes to get out of our bike gear and into our caching gear and head off on a drive to Monarto to try our luck on some new caches.
Muggle partner and ttrogg came too, so Nelson was as full as a goog with eager geocachers
By day's end I had 11 FTFs within my overall cache finds total of 29
What a full on and enjoyable day
We sure did use lots of breath today as we walked this area from our first cache find at about 4:54pm until the last one at about 8:06pm, just as darkness started to set in.
I took your advice and dragged muggle partner out today and he actually enjoyed himself!

Mr Tardis was out for a spot of caching and keeping active on a lovely fine winter's day. A short walk to this one through some lovely bushland. You've just got to love an ammobox.

After some cache maintenance nearby (in the rain), we decided we should finally grab these three caches (in the rain!).
It's actually really nice walking through here when it's wet, the colours on the tree bark are impressive. Lots of white winged choughs flying about as well. Nice to find an ammo can as well.

This was the last of our finds today on our little bush walk to try and wear my 3yr old geo kid out!
The walk was really nice and he coped quite well with the walk, I only had to piggy back him twice.
The bird life was really nice to listen too, it was hard to believe how close we were to the freeway!
Thankyou for our little walk today and getting us out and about!
Its great to install into our little geo kid that exercise can be interesting and fun!

Caching for the day with Sylken, they introduced me to the Keep Active series and although they had completed 6 in the series the day before, they had not yet visited these three caches, giving us a chance to get some smilies together
After being eaten alive by mozzies at the other 6 caches in the series we took some belated preventative action and coated ourselves liberally with bug repellent. Either the Aerogard worked, or there weren't actually any mozzies around these ones!
Thanks for the cache and the series.

Geohubby and I arrived in Murray Bridge on Wednesday hoping to tackle some of the many caches available in the area. Our geodaughter KAROPI joined us here for the day so we were off to hopefully log some smileys
Yesterday we did six of the 'KEEP ACTIVE' trail so returned there today so that KAROPI could enjoy the clever hides too. We then found three more in the series that we could each log. The log sheet was full in this cache so we added a new log book.
Many thanks for the hide Geocaching-SA [^]

Another day in CP Territory. Managed 8kms of walking to grab 23 caches - perfect day for caching. TFTC.
After caching in urban Adelaide for the last couple of days, it was really good to get out and wander through a bush area. The open bushland made for easy walking. We were entertained by the wildlife, in particular the number and range of birds. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition except that the log is full and needs a replacement. Thanks for the cache Geocahing-SA.
Out for a day of walking.
Did the Butchwalking and Tracks On A Track series.
Also did some of the Keep Active caches so I think all up I did about 15 kms.
