Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.Passing through town we grabbed this cacheThanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
Almost 10 years to the date that it all begun! Swapped toys. Thanks for making us stop is such a great location
The kids were stoked to be able to trade something for the first time. The headstones were interesting to walk around. The gate latch saved us when the twigs we tried broke
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. We made the find here. Thanks fir the hide Sadiesmate.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Love these back country hides - our type of cachng. Thanks for the hide.
My 2nd day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today I left from Applia and ended up in Iron Knob for the night. This cache would be find number 3 of 34 for the day and find Number 11 in total for this trip away.
Was to dark last night when I arrived in town so left it till today for the find.

The cache was easy enough to spot, but a bunch of relatives discussing Nan and Pop's site were less than 10m from the cache.
So I wandered around looking at the various headstones.
Luckily they left 5 mins after I arrived...
Brazen hide!

Thanks

Was able to turn this into a quick driveby thanks to muggle driver who knew the area. A token favourite point for the creativity of the container, and for being a traditional regular with swaps which are much more family friendly.
A quick find here and all good. Container is fine.
Thank you for bringing me here.

Day 5 was Port Augusta to Mildura. An early start had me watching the sunrise over The Remarkables. Another amazing day on the road. Thank you!

Heading toward home from our weekend away at Melrose, as usual, taking the road less travelled .
Enjoyed our walk around here , realising afterward we could have reduced it significantly if we had known the layout of the area beforehand .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Sadiesmate.

Now this is a marvellous way to hide a cache. Thanks for the quiet spot. The wind in the trees were making lots of noise (no, that’s not a cryptic hint. It was super windy)
Tftc! Coords sent us just a little up the line but as soon as we noticed it it was an easy find and sign. Out today with LynSteNet and Animal62
TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet and bullitmuffin 91

TFTC SL Thanks for bringing us here. Found while exploring the Laura area. We are on our way back to the NT. Much warmer up there.
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today we are in Jamestown, and spent a couple of hours driving around nearby Mt Lock on an extremely cold and windy day. Then we headed of in a round about way to Wirrabara
Oh so easy find A cleverly hidden cache in full view. THanks SAdiesmate

So we got ourselves breakfasted, organised and packed up and then it was a day of caching our way back to Adelaide. I had quite a few caches on the list and snuck a couple of extras in too. The husband had more than had enough by the time we arrived home at 6.15pm but I was happy with our haul for the weekend. Most enjoyable and our particular thanks to chrispy89 for all the Orroroo hides.
We also visited the market in town before heading off and bought the most delicious banoffee pie which we had with our picnic lunch at the magnet which was a phenomenon that did nothing for us at all.....
Our last cemetery of the weekend. Quick find and sign here and obligatory headstone shot. Husband has definitely had enough now, this is our penultimate find. TFTC Sadiesmate

Touring around the area with Loopy1972, stopped to find a smiley. Cache and container both in good condition. TFTC.
Great cemetery. I realized that try as I might I can't see dead people. Loved the twin metal headstones. With some more rust they could last 10000 years.
Thanks to pinkmundi and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
After enjoying a great Xmas lunch, a walk around the town was a good idea. Looking at some old farming equipment was interesting, and then walking to the cemetery for this cache was quite pleasant too. An easy find. TFTC.
Nice place to stop and take a little time to be grateful. For the cache and for life. TFTC!!
One of many very lonely cemeteries which are so interesting to wander around.
This one also has a great hidden cache which we are giving a fave point.
Thanks Sadiesmate

Hi there pinkmundi.
We found your cache **"R.I.P APPILA"** at 11:30:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15942).
We cached between Gladstone, Appila and Wirrabara today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 20 caches with 2 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
