Wasn't feeling the greatest but wanted to get the souvenir so sucked it up and came down for a chat.
Nice to talk with everyone and make some plans for future weekends before the rains came and washed us all away. Thanks for organising

Although we were slightly late we managed to get a very close car park and were soon joining the large number of cachers who attended this event to celebrate the launching of a TB into space. Thanks Chris for organising this event to mark this milestone. TFTE.

A good opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces from the Mega Event. Thanks for the event.
Cheers for organizing the event! It was a great turn out and we managed to win a geocoin Thanks funkymunkyzone
Thanks Chris for organising looking forward to seeing what the souvenir looks like.
Great to catch up with some cachers met at Mega and to put some faces to names.
Also good to see you looking more awake than when I last saw you.

There's a wine and cheese evening on at Stardome tonight, but that only starts at 8pm so we should be good with our little get together. Don't expect anything of the order of magnitude of the Mega - we don't have anything organised other than some casual chatting. We might give away a coin or two, if I remember to take some along. See you there!
I had a very small window of opportunity to attended this event as Mrs LC has a meeting tonight. Joined the early crew and enjoyed a chat or two, though the Future Finder was frustrated that the planetarium was off limits tonight. Managed to hang on long enough to sign the log once the organiser turned up. Cheers for organising, I would have liked to stay longer!
I'm have a yearly membership to the Observatory so I visit frequently, it's a great place, so I liked that the event was held here. I really enjoyed chatting with so many of you all, pity we were rained out. Thanks for organising this, I had a good time.
Nice to see everyone at this event today, and the opportunity to introduce alpenmilch80 to a true kiwi fish and chips experience beforehand. shame we got rained on though! Thanks for organizing the event funkymunkyzone.
Thanks for organising this little gathering, I have always wanted to visit the StarDome but that might have to be on a return visit. I think the Firetruck was the highlight for me

Thanks FMZ for organising although pity the weather cut it short. Good catching up with the usuals again.
Dropped off some bugs I'd had for awhile and picked up another. Was nice to meet a few new people and see some familiar faces too Thanks for the Event
No wine and cheese for us but a fun bunch of cachers to meet and greet. Thanks for organizing this.
Great event to get out of those long working hours of this very long week. Team Vamber made it special awesome for me with a Kiwi Style Fish and Chips experience during the event. Was about time I had those. Loved it! big thanks )
I wish the crew and the TB save travels!

Good to meet fellows geocachers and new faces I haven't seen before. It is always nice to listen to others stories. Got caught by the rain so we all went home. Thanks for organizing the event.
Nice to meet so many fellow cachers, it's a shame the observatory was closed but I'll come back again with the rest of the whanau to pay a visit . Great to win a trackable too, thanks FMZ TFTC
#827 Thanks for organising this event Chris. Just a brief visit by both halves of team skaga tonight and we were also able to sneak in to have a look at the exhibits. Nice to see everyone before the rain set in.
thankfully the rain stayed away whilst we gathered. Nice to catch up with familiar faces and lovely to meet another few new ones. Raced off to gather few caches while we were here tonight. Thanks for the event.
Nice to catch up with some of the faces behind the names. Hope you guys all had safe journeys home and out on your Caching Adventures in the future...cheers V.
Nuts. Couldn't make it. Entertaining parents. No souvenir for me. And I'm yet to put faces to so many of the names I see so often. Next time maybe.
Was nice to catch up with the Auckland caching crew for the event this evening and better still collect a couple of caches that I have wanted to grab for some time.
Thanks FMZ for organisinf and allowing me to collect another event

It's always good to put faces with names, especially ones that I see in cache logs again and again. FMZ, thanks for orgainising yet another event. We will see you out there!
Got there eventually after bus/walk. Was nice to learn those facts. Looked around observatory after. This also brings up my 100 yay. Thanks for organising.

Great opportunity to catch up with geo-friends. I admire your stamina - holding another event so soon after MEGA.
Was a nice catch up after work, Stayed to look through the observatory afterwards, Thanks for organising
12583...
Huge thanks to Chris for organising, we missed the actual launch, but still managed to catch up with a large cluster of star cachers, before a large magellanic cloud formed and a sudden meteor shower saw us all scattering through space. Was impressed with the appearance of the bright red supernova too..... a handy launch pad to achieve those stellar heights.

Nice to catch up with other cachers. Great location to commemorate the event. When the rain sent everyone running, I sheltered at the observatory, and when it opened, visited for some more space info. Thanks for organising.
Nice to meet some new cashers and some familiar faces and chat about this great hobby. Found out about several caches that we need to try. Thanks for organising the event.
Thanks to funkymunkyzone for organising the event. Enjoyed meeting a few of the Auckland based 'cachers' following a recent move from Chch to Akld. Picked up a few travel bugs which I will release over next few weeks while on a visit to the US. Thanks again. #430 for us.
Managed to arrive just before the end when everyone was chased away by the rain. Stayed to look through the observatory
Cool to have a local event to mark the occasion at a very appropriate place.

Great to start putting faces to all those user names and if you need a hand with those high caches we can always bring our ladder truck along.
Wow, for a basic stand around and chat event, a pretty decent turn out. Thanks everyone for coming along, even if our little event here in Auckland was an hour or so after the actual launch time, it was as close as we could get! Well done to those who could answer my ISS trivia questions to win geocoins. Thanks wikipedia for the questions and answers! Thanks for coming along, everyone and sorry about the weather!
Great to catch up with both old faces and new as usual!
And yay, fire engine! ;D

Have just received permissiin from the Dragon folloing a late afternoon meeting, so look forwad to it before heading home
I'll be there but my punctuality will be traffic dependent as I finish work at 6.05.
We will both be attending but unfortunately I have got hold of the Planetarium and they are not doing a show on the Thursday as they have a special WINE, CHEESE & ASTRONOMY night & that is sold out. But we look forward to this event.
Should be interesting after the recent reports of UFO activity around Albany! So we'll be there, provided we don't get abducted by aliens in the meantime!
Not far away so will try to be there. Would be nice to put some faces to (caching) names.
I'll be there. Shouldn't this event be on the 6th? Watch the launch on the 7th but log it as the 6th to claim the souvenier.
The souvenir will be awarded to anyone who logs an event on the 6th or the 7th of November, so we decided to hold this event on the actual day of the launch - in fact within an hour or so of the actual launch!
We will both be there for this as this is the perfect excuse to come and check this place out
