A bit soft under foot with all the rain. One I needed for the Wonders of the World promo.
Out for a drive with my son too get his hours up. Some sealed roads and some unsealed roads both wet and dry was good experience for him. This was one of our stops along the way. TFTC
A trip down to Victor Harbor was organised for today with Michells&hound, primarily to get the new Adventure Lab caches down there and then working on a list of other caches that we both had not found. [^]
It was a lovely sunny day and we had a very enjoyable time driving around the area and stopping at Port Elliott Bakery for lunch. We found all the caches we looked for and turned a couple of DNF's into smilies which is always good.
Didn't see any kangaroos today, but someone had been having fun as there were lots of tyre tracks in the mud and grass. The nice sized cache was quickly found.
Thanks for the cache boab bill.

Today I headed to Victor Harbour with JJ52 with the primary goal of doing the new lab cache there. Of course it was a bit far to go just for the labs so caches were added in. We found all the caches we looked for but a few on our list we did not attempt.
Rex also came along for the trip and he was such a good boy and he had a brilliant day out. He is knackered now.
We enjoyed an excellent bakery lunch in Port Elliot and were amazed with the number of people still queuing for pies at 2pm!
Blessed with fantastic weather it was a wonderful day for caching.
We didn’t see any Roos here good to find a bigger cache. TFTC Boab Bill

Great hide! Took a little green elephant who will live on my dashboard. Left a Shopkins. Tftc
Found at 15:46 by Olga. A quick stop on our way past. Quite a neat hide in a nice little clump of bush.
grabbing a few caches while staying in victor over night. the GPS bounced every where so after walking around in circles, read the hint and found the cache with mogni.
I was taking sir_spectre on a drive around the area and I thought it was time to go and grab this one, I have driven passed this many times but stopped today.
Thanks to boab bill from mogni

Heading back to Mrs Parrot Seniors home and stopped for just one more cache.
A lovely little spot.
A lovely little spot.
Owl has been meaning to get back to the scene of a FTF DNF since this was placed. Despite a very wet and wintry day, she headed out of Victor Harbor determined to set things right. She did and owl knows why this wasn't found in the dead of night! It took a screwdriver to prise open the rusty tin, so she left with soggy shoes as well as a smilie!
Sat lock with our phones was all over the place so we wandered around a fair bit. Walked past it 3 times before the geowife spotted the well hidden container. Managed to get the tight lid off and sign log
Nice area to pull over and stretch the legs as we wandered over to GZ, loved the hide was well camoed and took a moment to think away from the usual spots, think it took longer to get the tight lid off the cache container

This place was amazing!
It had snake territory written all over it but all I saw were butterflies, so many!
I love creepy tree places.
Cache found while I was standing next to it and wondering where to look next, turned around and there it was!
Thanks boab bill

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Found with Astronaut99 and Beaker on a long weekend camping, kayaking and geocaching adventure up the Coorong and all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. Highlights included seeing hundreds of Pelicans in the Coorong, Jellyfish in the crystal clear waters at Victor Harbour/Port Elliot, visiting a sea cave, and waking up in our swags on Australia Day to see the silhouette of kangaroos! Thanks
Escaped home for the long weekend and decided to spend it caching and kayaking around the fleurieu peninsula area. Was a good eventful weekend accompanied by -Beaker-, FerociousFlea and a roaring sun.

#2904 A lovley little treed oasis just off the main road. Ducked and weaved through the branches to gz for the quick find. Only issue was getting the lid off the container, it was stuck on good! Got there in the end and was rewarded with a PT for our troubles. TFTC boab bill.

Went round in circles for a bit (tree cover?). Good hide for a large container, size is more like a 3. TFTC
Top point for hiding a good sized container in such a clever way!
The area was a sea of [Amanita muscaria](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanita_muscaria), more than we've seen in a single location ever!
After re-hiding the cache, we took time out for a cup of coffee and a sandwich, enjoying this peaceful location.
Thanks boab bill.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! We are currently on the first section of our journey, which started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island. We are currently on route to Melbourne via Goolwa (where we are driving to at present), Coorong, Mount Grambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. From Melbourne we head to Tasmania for a few days, then back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
Found after a brief search while keeping an eye out for snakes. Thanks for the cache.

Another day spent caching around the south. Today was a bit damper with rain most of the time. Saw a lot of wildlife today with roos, an echidna and also a deer that jumped in front of the car. Quick find. TFTC.
Great hide. Almost didn't spot it with the camo on top. TFTC. 21/03/2016, 14:37 Find #1745

#2555 - Took a while to find, but looking from a different angle, Bruce saw a glint of GC green.
The cache is really well hidden and not on the ground. No climbing either. Right at tummy height.
All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour via the highest peak in each State and mainland Territory.

Many thanks to the cache owner boab bill for establishing and maintaining another great cache in this area.

The GPS played up a little here, we had been having an issue with it earlier in the day. This is a lovely area, a great mix of plant life here. We were lucky here it was not to wet today, no kanga's though. SL TFTC
Lovely little spot to explore. Plenty of off-road parking. Spongy in winter. TFTC.
Started pouring down just as we found this, must have been a funny sight to see dad and myself running out with the cache in our hands to the dry car!! Tftc!
Nice easy hide love the container bet emptying it was fun. Left some kids goodies donated by sister in law. Cold wet day good for caching. TFTC found with Tony & Anne. JenneG & Budgy
Its Friday 13th and 3LG And myself are caching between Normanville and Victor Harbour. This was 1 of 30 odd caches for the day TFTC
We are staying in Normanville with earthlight for a few days, it is day 3 and today we are making our way to Victor Harbour with a slight detour grabbing the caches we have missed down towards Deep creek, once you get under the tree cover its like stepping into a new world, absolutely beautiful at GZ. TFTC
Easy find with cache exposed. Left path tag which I may have written left TB in log, sorry.
While staying at Adare we ventured out to find as many caches as we could in the area. Lovely scenery and we enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks to boab bill for placing this cache.
With the forecast for nice weather today it was time for a visit to the Victor Harbour area to clear away a few of the caches that have populated the area since I used to frequent the town.
I was surprised to see just how many new ones there is
With Astro we set about finding some of these little gems and this was one of them [^]
Cheers & TFTC

On a caching holiday with my brother, Richmond Lad. Staying around Goolwa and Murray Bridge and doing day trips looking for hides that take us to a variety of places. So cold and windy today - my ipad weather app said 10celcius with 3celcius actual. Not so windy under the trees - beautiful setting. TFTC.
A quick find but the container is dented and very hard to get the lid off.

After checking out a few potential decoys we returned to something Mr Beetle had noticed on the way in. The container had been found by muggles recently who called themselves the ? weeders. It's nice when muggles find the containers and leave them alone. It's how we first started caching after an accidental find.
Thanks.
Thanks.
