Camped at nearby Lake Bonney, gorgeous spot and so happy to find a nice spot right on the water. A bit of an hour out on the bike today to look about and pick up some caches.
An easy find, the only witnesses hopped away and didn't seem to mind. TFTC

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 16. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton. I was with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 6 in the River land. As we had accomplished the On your Bike caches, the others headed back east to stop at Mildura for the paddle steamer caches, but I am based in Adelaide at the moment, so could not go. I spent the day out and about collecting caches in the region before heading to Lake Bonny and then Berri, finishing the day in Katarapko National park.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.

Sir_spectre and I had a quick getaway to the Riverland. We were targetting the less found caches. We found an assortment of caches, and as regular for us manged to replace containers for several and put some fresh logbooks in others. It was a rather hot weather for a weekend of caching but the air conditioned car gave us some relief.

quick find
Out with the Mogni for a short trip out to the riverland, only 3 days. It was hot first 2 days where 40 degrees and the last day was 33 degrees. Since the rules just changed about covid 19 testing before and after entering vic to no testing, we changed our plans on the way up and decided to go via Murray Sunset National Park. The idea was to find as many caches as we could that haven't been found recently most hadn't been found in 3 months. On day 1 we replaced 10 out of the first 12 caches, all broken container and 1 log book replaced, and by the end of the day had a heaped medium bin liner bag full of broken containers, the hot mallee sun doesn't do the plastic containers any good. Day 2 saw us caching around Loch Luna and lake Bonney which is way easier driving around here in the dry then in the rain like my last visit here. Onlt 1/2 a medium bin liners back of replaced containers today, people must fix the closer to the highway caches more often. On day 3 it was back in to the mallee country and home via Pinnaroo. Getting those " out of the way caches ". Plenty of dirt roads where driven down and many, many back sandy tracks taken. It was good to explore all the country areas and stay off the highway.

Caching has fallen by the wayside with everything that has been going on, work, lockdowns, blah, blah...so we needed to get away for a bit of R&R after lockdown so headed to Loch Luna for the weekend to refresh and cache!. An epic day today with 30 fnds and 3 DNF's. A quick find here. TFTC
If there is an easy way to get to a cache, somehow we always seem to choose the hard way TFTC
Been to Dayboro from Cairns to attend the Mega event now on the way to South Australia. 25 April 2021 4:09 pm Tyfc white D 2049 found out in the open changed container and hid again.
We over thought this cache looking for a different style until the eagle eyes of the other Triton spotted the hide higher than expected.
Thanks white D for the placement.

Team Honda off on a journey for a week to escape the Covid madness and chase Yellow Faces to reduce the city stresses.
Thanks to the caching community to ensure we have plenty to search for. If it were not for them, we would not be at this hide today.

That was certainly a lot smaller than I was expecting to find. Was looking for a “small”, but it’s most certainly a “micro”.
Thanks for the cache white D.

Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I departed Morgan after a hot breakfast, and we proceeded south finding a few targeted *Tour de France* series geocaches, before then crossing the Murray River at Blanchetown. We then proceeded up the eastern Murray River bank passing through Murbko, before crossing once again and driving along the northern bank. We then stopped for a late lunch at Waikerie after making another river crossing (by ferry this time), and then made our way east along the Sturt Highway to Barmera. It was a chance to see a few sights in Barmera and complete the *A Bonney Stroll* Adventure Lab. Finally, we made a dash through Monash topping to see the adventure playground, and then arrived in Berri for the night.
On our journey back to Barmera, we made a stop here, and it took a little amount of time in searching around before encountering the geocache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks white D for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Appeared to have moved from its hiding place out into the open, tucked it back in.

Day 383 ( Tuesday 15th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Barmera today. A total of 16 for the day and 6783 the trip. A grand total of 16,751 caches. TFTC
TFTC Here at FD site to watch my sister and her dog Darcy run agility and jumping trials. Bloody windy and cold like usual. No pen again.
Oh we do love a Field Day, we have an annual Field Day at Lucindale every March, unfortunately not this year due to Covid 19.
We came to the Riverland to do our regional getaway and had been hoping to visit up this way for quite some time. It seems like a lifetime ago we had an orange block out at Sunlands, you just cant beat a fresh orange straight off the tree. These days we dont even like buying bags of citrus from the supermarket as we know they arent anywhere near as fresh and juicy as they should be. It was a sttruggle to find some places to stop for food as so many were still being very conscious of the Covid 19 threat but we muddled through. We allowed ourselves the luxury of not necessarily clearing out every cache in an area we just ambled along finding random caches so we had a more relaxing trip, gives us a reason to return another time.
Thanks white D for the cache and some local history.

Found but container has been crushed making it look more like rubbish than a cache
Found on a lovely day caching around the riverland. Found out in the open but cache is in good condition, TFTC!
I have been coming to Barmera for the June long weekend for five years and I had never found this cache.
Today was the day to find a few stray caches and put smilies on my map.
This was a quick find. [^]
Thanks for the cache white D.

Came out on dust to find this cache. We have removed the lollies out of the cache so it doesn't attract ants. Cache is otherwise dry and in good condition. TFTC
This cache is rough and lazy abit of a waste of timey. I put some lil surprises in there to brighten it up
As the line up of learner motorcyclists,
who wanted to join the ever growing ranks of 'Temporary Australians' nearby continued,
I headed out to the end of the road,
far enough away from the wobbly crowd,
to find this cache

Just looking at any new caches for when we do our annual trio to Lake Bonney....and wait, I did this one LAST YEAR....! Logging now!
No luck at all but apparently found two days ago? Also confused whether it's a micro as someone commented or a larger snap lock container. Bummer! Hope someone else has better luck!
