Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Love these back country hides - our type of cachng. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. We made the find here. Thanks arminrowel.
Day 4 of my short Geocaching weekend. Today was my last day away spent an extremely cold night in Yongala before making my way home in the late afternoon..
Nice easy find on my way back to Jamestown for a few more finds..

A nicely hidden cache here, slowly the local animals are eating away at the hide but cache is all good
After making my way up to Caroona Creek Comservation Park yesterday and camping the night there my main goal of the day was to make the walk through Tourilie Gorge finding cache with 4.5 years unloved followed by the rest of the day finding caches around the mid north yet to be found before making my way back to Adelaide.
Thanks for the cache

Time restricted so didn't give a big search. Will try next time we are past here.
Found during a caching trip to SA's mid north staying at Orroroo for two nights and Jamestown for one night. Spent the day caching around Peterborough and Yongala, then down to Jamestown. Thanks for the cache arminrowal!
The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 5: Exploring some mid north towns.
Another quick find despite the good camo.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks arminrowal for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Out for a drive in the area today to grab a few caches to check off our Hidden Calendar. Was very close to this one after collecting others nearby so why wouldn't we get this one too. A neat hide.

Thanks for sharing the farming history.
It's great to be able to travel and see so many quaint little country towns.
As we meander down towards GeoVenture 2020 (in 2021), Millicent, we stopped to put a smiley here.
It's wonderful to explore SA through the eyes of a Geocacher,
especially when it takes us to such interesting places.
We found your cache and with signing duties done and dusted,
we replace the cache as found.
Thanks for sharing this interesting location.

This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to Melrose for mountain biking the trails with a few non-geocaching friends. We ended up hiking up to Mount Remarkable on Sunday, and on Monday, we returned to home via Booleroo Centre, Jamestown, and Clare. The weekend had some rain drizzle and crisp mornings, but otherwise good weather for fitness.
Today, we had a morning Melrose mountain biking session, before starting to drive back to Adelaide. We had some time to fill, so ended up taking the long route via Booleroo Centre, Hornsdale, and Jamestown, to then arrive at Clare for an afternoon tea/coffee event. It was then an expedited drive via Gawler.
A very creative hide, and there seemed to be quite the number of bees hanging around (perhaps it was just the season?). The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks arminrowal for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today we are in Jamestown, and spent a couple of hours driving around nearby Mt Lock on an extremely cold and windy day.
Sometimes when I log my visit to draft, I type in the message, other times, when I feel lazy, it dictate. Today at this log I dictated, and this is what SAMMIE came up with:
"Lazytown i need a pizza good sign with sound"
Which sound nothing like:
"Quick find at the corner, when you look in the right spot"
Thanks arminrowal for sharing your family's corner post

Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks arminrowal for the cache.
This was predicted to be another hot day, so we headed out of Peterborough and set our sights on the Clare Valley area, as did ilook4geo. Some caches were picked out for the hunt list and represented the towns and districts that we travelled through. It was a mix of types today, with traditionals, a multi and a virtual.
Each cache had its log signed with two more names and photos were taken for the virtual.
Thank you to arminrowal for this cache which was quickly found.

We decided to look for some easily found cachers today as it was going to be quite hot. Each cache log was signed and was put back as it had been found. Thanks to each CO.
LOVE! Thank you for the history too.
Be VERY careful of a nest -possibly wasps- they’re a meter away from find... by the orange sign.
We were fine- me & dog Lucyloo:)

As we were driving right past it would be rude not to stop! A quick find thanks to the hint, otherwise who knows how far over we would have gone. All is good with the cache! Clever hide!
With us following a wide load saw this one pop up a decided a detour was a better option quick drive by before following the road further down

Nicely hidden cache. Enjoying a weekend away up in the mid North camping and caching. We thoroughly enjoyed touring around seeing the sights and finding caches TFTC
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Arriving in Petersborough late yesterday for 2 nights. We booked in for the 'bundle' tour at the tourist bureau and thoroughly enjoyed the night tour and now the day tour! What a highlight and not to be missed on any visit to Petersborough
Now out caching in the freezing winds, we set off with a list of nearby caches when the phone went 'bing' with a message from a friend to advise of a nearby FTF. hmmm not in the original target area, lets see how we go! Well we zigged and zagged adding double the number of caches to our original list on back gravel damp roads and finally back at camp 5pm.
We found your cache in good order. This wasnt on our original list for the day but being so close we couldnt just drive off.

We were travelling from Burra to our next destination of Hawker we zig zagged through this picturesque area picking up a few caches along the way.
We really enjoyed the drive to here, the scenery was fantastic and your Aunty & Uncle must love waking up to these views each day. It's hard to imagine working such big properties, back in Victoria a couple of hundred acres is considered a fair size. With the rain starting to come down again we were really happy when the nicely hidden cache was found right where the GPSr was pointing and we didn't waste any time adding our name to the log before heading back to the car.
Thanks amintowal for the cache.

Hi there AFRowe.
We found your cache **"Manangari #1"** at 11:54:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 16070).
Our trek today took us from Gladstone to Jamestown then on to Black Rock before heading back to camp via the "next closest" route as determined by our GPS. On our trek we found a variety of container types. We ended up finding 13 caches with 3 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Quickly located on a slight diversion from our trip to Peterborough! Thanks for the hide!
First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .
After being cooped up in the vehicle for the last couple of hours, it took a minute for us to find our land legs again [:o)].
Cool hide, which even had a cache guardian (although it didn't wake up while we were there - probably frozen by the wind) [)].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Arminrowal.

Snake country so I was very quick.
Out for the weekend to attend the Jamestown Airshow, this is one of the little gem locations we visited along the way.
We have dealt a few favourites out along the way. Hopefully this is one of those Gems. As you can see this is a generic log and I'm sorry for that but the WiFi service here is not great so I need to be quick.
Thanks for the journey to this cache in our wonderful State.
