Got scared by a big spider that appeared to be guarding the cache, but realised it was dead and managed to get the log. TFTC

Another chilly and misty morning out with iluvtrekking on our last day in the Barossa area. Thanks for the hide 3LG
Camping at Wirreanda Farm in Mt Crawford for the Easter long weekend. Had the mountain bike with so some caching had to be done. An enjoyable day with 10 caches again today, enjoying the serenity of the forest. Todays highlights include kayaking around Lake Warren and making our 4000th find. This cache was one that was found today.
A nice spot for a drink, cache was found right amongst the spider webs. Stick the hand in and the cache was signed.
Find #4004 on 16 Apr 2022.

I spent an enjoyable day exploring and geocaching around the Mt Crawford area. Weather was good for geocaching and thankfully no rain.
After failing to help a young sheep get back under the fence to be reunited with its mother, I parked the car in a suitable place and headed off on foot.
I had two DNFs on this little trail but still very enjoyable.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Found! Sited this one but didn't dare to touch it, the location was covered in large ants. Be careful. Tftc
Today, [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I headed east to Mount Crawford with our bikes. I had a few targets that I had wanted to get to today, but as always, I had more targets and less time to do all of them. Our first cluster of caches was aimed at *SFE Challenge - Milestone 10,000 finds* with the *Big Fat* geocaches nearby as a loop. That was some solid riding up/down the hills, and a few geocaches were time consuming due to their hide types. After a quick Williamstown bakery lunch, we returned to another section in Mount Crawford, and concentrated on the Rocky Paddock campground area with a number of *Animal Facts* geocaches found. [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) departed home, but I had another couple of rides up Tower Hill Track, and also around Rocky Paddock along Gordon Road. I completed the day with a short walk up Mount Crawford boardwalk, and a few miscellaneous finds on my return home. It was a brisk day with cold winds and a few intermittent drizzles, but otherwise not a bad day to be on the bike.
A quick find at this location, and was the last cache that [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I found together, before he headed back home. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks 3LG/@LíB for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On the way back out we stopped here and Davidwazza made the quick find cache is all good
Today I met up with Davidwazza at Mt Crawford to complete some caches that required a bike, we particularly focused on the area around the Big fat series. After having lunch I was spent and decided to head home and find a few caches along my way. All up 30 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

I’m just using an iphone to get around here and I keep forgetting that there is no signal here. Had to backtrack once the signal kicked in. Octopuses are awesome. TFTC.
Went looking for a nearby duck
with no amount of caching luck
saw instead an octo puss
found that one with little fuss...
Thanks for putting the cache out here 3LG

Found after an orienteering event nearby. Here with Edvern, nice area to explore. TFTC
Found with Tramper Ted after our orienteering event today. We explored parts of this attractive forest by car to hunt down a few caches. This was a straight forward drive by, thanks and greetings from New Zealand.
I drove straight past this one yesterday on my way to the nearby event so decided I would have to stop by and get it today before tackling the Boardwalk caches.
Another quick easy find. [^]
I had a close encounter with a Blue Ringed Octopus when I was diving under Port Noarlunga jetty in the 80's...it was so pretty.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

A quick drive on Gordon road before the nearby event.
We were glad to only spot geocachers driving past,
so no need to duck behind the tree.

Enjoying a stroll around the forest on a surprisingly warm day for June collecting some animal fact series, all found today were in good condition, had to leave two for another day way to many muggle campers near GZ.

A day out caching with Moneydork - -the weather was oh so fine so we decided hiking in the forest would be brilliant. And it was. I now must use the template log, I have my reasons for doing so -- ask me about it at an event sometime.
Found on a beautiful sunny day on our way to more caches nearby! What gorgeous country at this time of the year Tftc
First beautiful morning for a while so we took the opportunity to collect some caches in this beautiful area Still a lot of water around Thanks
After enduring warm summer's days and recovering after many Christmas family gatherings, a day of gathering smileys was enjoyed. We learned more history and geology of this wonderful area

With some of the gates closed and access limited, decided to complete a loop around the larger Rocky Paddock camping ground area by bike. Thanks for the exercise and cache 3LG!
I always remember walking along the beach at Carpenter Rocks and seeing these dotted across the shoreline having been washed up, glad I didn't step on any! A quick find this afternoon as we walked up the hill, the first hill of the day is always the hardest. Thanks for the hunt this afternoon 3GL
