Only had a short look through the gaping hole in the foliage.
The cache page says to be careful of damaging the tree. Well too late.
I know there are no NMs logs, but further damage will occur finding a micro in this type of tree!

Felt a bit obvious poking around here in broad daylight, but had a look for 5 mins without luck. Will try another time.
I hopped off the bike and admired the candle for a moment
Thought about where I would hide the cache,
parted the curtains,
and found the cache first time
That was lucky !!

Suscoe was heading northwards today in convoy with Phetlern as our time in Marion Bay had come to an end.
We started the finds at Brentwood, then to Minlaton and then on to Maitland before picking up a couple of caches along the road to Port Wakefield.
It was a sunny day with a good range of caches found along the way.
The roads were quiet today which made for easy stops along the roads and around the towns.
Thanks to clan greenwood for this cache, we were impressed with this area.

Travelling in good company with Suscoe and relocating our base from Marion Bay to Port Wakefield, provided us many opportunities to stop, stretch and add a smiley, or two, to our geo-map. We parked one car & caravan in town and explored the cache rich Minlaton area.
Our thanks to clan greenwood for placing this cache.

First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

Travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular. Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.
Wow Yorkes certainly turned on the beautiful weather for this ANZAC long weekend.. What better way to spend it than caching while staying at Pt Vincent.TFTC
This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 10:36:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Enjoying the caches in this area especially as out with Doodle Bug Oz, CAD1 and a very enthusiastic muggle driver. Thanks for the hides.
Out with CAD and Corunnaroad and our enthusiastic local muggle driver on a wet day - lots of fun and frivolity while out and about today! T4TC:)

Traveling from Yorketown to Kadina today, only 130km by the shortest route, but that's not how geocachers travel it took me all day! Lots of detours and dirt tracks explored, great scenery, and a lot of fun finding caches along the way.
Another good find here, many thanks for placing a cache for others to find [^]

Day four of the short holiday with Bettyboo3747.
Travelled from Port Vincent to Edithburgh (Sultana Point actually) via Minlaton.
We could have made it look like a birthday candle - we had some diesel in the back!
The cache was at a good height on the nice side to avoid muggles watching.
Thanks, Robmc.

8704. A travelling day for Robmc and me as we make our way further south to Sultana Point for a couple of days. Gorgeous scenery again with lush green paddocks and fields of gold. This is such a beautiful time to be over here. We managed to find quite a few caches along the way.
Oh dear I thought we would spend way too long here but fortunately after a couple of minutes we spotted a new familiar hide. That was fortunate.
Thanks. clan greenwood

Found it with CherryRose on our 4th day of our 10 days of caching fun on Yorke Peninsula and the Barossa Valley. Tweezers make a good extraction tool for the log. Love these containers. TFTC TNLNSL
Found by Mary & David at 1645. A good cache name. Made us think of Christmas, green candles and holly. Found quickly. Our thanks to clan greenwood.
After Sorceysal and I finished the fish series in 2 1/2 days, we decided to head to Maitland and beyond to grab a few more caches in a more relaxed day, without the haste. Tess the geodog also enjoyed the heaps of walks today, and the great variety of hides.
This was tougher to extract from the container than to find, thanks again clan greenwood

Day 6 of our epic and memorable road trip. After completing the fish series in 2 1/2 days it was time to head further north for a relaxing day. A lot of walks and good company made for a pleasing day of caching.
BH was wondering what the candle referred to until I told him to look at the shape of the trees. He then managed to spy the cache. Thanks clan greenwood

This is just a few houses up the street from where Mrs.R's parents used to live so we had to visit. It was looking like a tall order for a while until we shifted our search a little and the cache was quickly spotted. TFTC.
Round and round we went...
So I have to go to Adelaide for work, on Monday so how to make a weekend of it..... contact brisal5 and turn it into a Yorke Peninsula exploration..... We were planning to find some geoart but instead got distracted by the many, many great caches located on the Yorke Peninsula.
My apologies for the generic logs my notes and memory of finding almost 100 caches in 36 hours are a bit lousy. But I truly appreciate the effort the cache owners have gone to creating some memorable cache hides in beautiful locations.

Plan A: A weekend to YP with mogni to do some geo-art caching. Of course we just had to stop and break the drive. Okay..time to go to Plan B. Cache till lunch, then go and start the geo-art and finish it in the morning. So after lunch in Minlaton. Plan C: Cache around Minlaton, go to our overnight digs in Hardwicke Bay and up early for the geo-art. After several laps of GZ we had to break out the torches as dusk arrived. Soon I had it my spot light. Gotcha. Where says mogni. There, I say with it brightly illuminated by my torch. Where [?] Woo hoo. Mogni doing a boy look and me finding the cache. Thanks clan greenwood.
On the way back from the southern Yorke Peninsula to Adelaide, we stopped at Minlaton for a break and some caching. This cache took quite a while to find as we had to approach from exactly teh right angle. Once found, the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache and hide clan_greewood. We certainly enjoyed this mini-tour of Minlaton.
Found It!
3rd (or maybe 4th) go at this cache for me. For some reason I found it in under a minute today. But that was were my luck ran out. After signing and replacing the cache I got back in the car and turned to key but nothing happened. Flat battery. After a call for help and waiting 30mins Dad arrived with some jumper leads...
But on the plus side I have now found all of clan greenwood's caches and my closest unfound cache to home is now 32km away at Pt Victoria!

Out for another day of caching on the Yorke Peninsula with Alansee and Micaparamedic.
We pulled up and saw where the GPSr was pointing and thought that this would be a quick one but unfortunately that wasn't quite true. With four pairs of eyes rotating around gz we had done quite a few revolutions before alansee spotted the nice hide. We think that we all had tunnel vision about where it would be and were looking too deep.
To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Thanks for the cache

Another day on the Yorke Peninsula with alansee and Team Crackers for our assault on the Yorke Peninsula. Most logs have been signed as MAC. Some really interesting hides made for an enjoyable experience. Had a great day, thanks so much clan greenwood for placing the cache.
These trees always manage to fool me with their deceiving branches.
After pondering its location, it finally began to rain.
The ride-on mower was whizzing around like a mosquito buzzing around my conscious.
After nearly hailing my arms in defeat, I made a breakthrough.
Thanks for the sneaky cache Clan Greenwood

This is a late log but we had a few days in this area visiting rellies. This was the last one I could sneak in and jumped out of the car knowing exactly where it would be. . . . . only to have a golf ball come flying over my shoe and scared the wotname out me!! The poor golfer apologised profusely and then wondered why I was standing there by that tree anyway. I did the old 'pretend I was on the mobile phone' trick.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we had to move house (caravan) from Coobowie to Minlanton so only attempted some multi's near Coobowie before we headed off.
With very mixed results we hit the road Jack! On arrival at Minlanton we dumped the vans and headed for Point Turton. Having seen some of the 50th birthday clan earlier in the week we were disappointed to have been too early for these caches but a return trip saw us knock these over today at high tide.
Quick grab on the way through.

The Parrot went for a drive around Yorkes for a couple of days and this was one of the many caches I found along the way.
Todays journey was from Yourke town to Maitland.
We collected caches along the highway & venturing off to some of the country roads for others.
A nice variety of caches found.

Day 4 of our epic expedition within SA. specimenX and myself had found the FT trail last night and solved all the puzzles in preparation for today. We set off nice and early (starting at 7:30am) and we didn't return home (place of current residence) until 11:30pm. It was a very long day however very enjoyable. We picked up a couple of caches on route to the powertrail and commenced the trail at 10:05am and we completed the last cache at 15:29pm of the powertrail. Including breaks for lunch and rest breaks, it works out to be about a cache every 2 minutes. Can't complain about that
We had heaps of fun today on the trail, I was the designated driver and specimenX was the hyped up runner. Once again, VERY strong coffee came into play this morning. specimenX was soo hyped up, at one stage her feet were in the air and her head in the ground.... ummm what the??? [:o)] On a number of occasions, specimenX would go so fast, her feet were left behind and she would almost face plant the caches.... excited much?
specimenX had a run in with a pollen tree, that decided it didn't like her, and it "poofed" all over her.... it just exploded, literally.... and she was covered from head to toe in pollen. OMG we lost it, I couldn't breath and specimenX couldn't control herself with laughter. Absolutely great day all round.
On our way to the PT, we passed through Minlaton, and OMG we were salivating over the caches there, so OFC we made our way there after the PT to do a clean up. We decided that 200 was our target today, this would be both of our largest caching days. We cleaned up Minlaton with all but 2 DNF's and one we didn't attempt as it was outside the CO's house (not trotting through gardens or shining torches at 9pm at night, don't feel comfortable doing that). We the headed back towards Port Wakefield to wind up our day of caching. The cache "Ruined" was a deal breaker for both myself and specimenX however, specimenX had a trip on some rusty wire and it could have been very nasty however walked away physically unhurt. I then opened the cache to find my biggest fear inside which was a trackable and I almost ran home to Canberra. The fear it put in me turned me very pale and made me feel very sick. Why do people make those 8 legged freaks into trackables or place fake ones in caches??? It drives me insane [:(!]
At the end of the night, we had some much earned dinner at the Port Wakefield truck stop and made our way home. We can now successfully conclude we completed 203 caches !!!! (and 2 DNF's )
Thanks to Fishy Tales for the awesome powertrail and thanks to all the other CO's for the caches we collected today [^][^][^] Now its time for some much earned sleep as we both have to be up nice and early to make our travels over to Murray Bridge for the Oz Mega 2014 [^]

Cache was moved to a new location and name was changed as old one was not relevant for its new location. Cachers should have a more private access as it is facing the side view of the chiropractors office. There is a muggle house nearby. I suggest not parking in front of it
