Visited Naracoorte on the weekend. Checked this one and it has definitely disappeared. Didn't have a spare with me and as I have no idea when I will be back in the Cootie I have no option but to archive. Good whilst it lasted!
happy to say that was easier than expected.

After following the well placed road signs to the creek walk we parked in a convenient place under a thankfully close shady tree right by the path down to the creek. The heat of the day was relieved under the giant gums but short lived once we got out further. A close walk though and cache was soon found and signed. Just a small amount of water now in the pond section as the creek is now all dry along this area but can see it is a nice area and would be great after a good rain. Thanks for another cache Michells&hound.
Stopped in here with CPWanderer, Phoenix flare & Bindi the dog.
A lovely walk across the creek, the hint was very handy.
Thanks for bringing us our here Michell&hound a definite favourite [^]

This one gets a Fav for getting the boys out of the car and running around like the signs.
I can't believe I just faved a nano !!!
Lovely little spot, those homes have such nice views and peaceful surroundings.
Could see the creek had risen recently though.
Would take care here in summer!

Out and about with mogni and blinky when we did this cache. There were lots of ants at GZ and so blinky and I backed off and let mogni do all the work. She already had a few on her, so there was no point us getting bitten. TFTC.
Out for a drive with Aussie M & M and blinky grabbing a few caches as well as some shopping and pokemon....
This one had lots and lots of guardian ants. They particularly liked me and I had them crawling up my pant legs and all over my shoes. managed to shake them and make a quick find.
Thanks

After spending the weekend doing the Border Track, I had an extra day to grab some caches in the area. TFTC.
What a lovely lil residential area tucked away from the main road. We had a nice wander to GZ and the local art work was pretty cool. The nearby houses have got a great outlook, don't blame them for not having back fences.
Found the hunter and the various targets and began our search.......ah there it is.
Thanks Michells&hound for the cache and an interesting view of Naracoorte. TNLNSL

In Naracoorte to get my car serviced so had a little time to do a few caches before heading home.
Wow the ants were none too happy with me looking for this cache. Luckily for me it was a quick find and I could move away to sign the log. Had to invade their territory again to put it back. Great little sculptures, thanks for bringing me here Michells&hound.

This cache was found as part of a 28 hour caching odyssey around the Wimmera and Upper South East with TT016. A total of 670 km was covered in the trusty old GQ Patrol on the way to 93 cache finds. Caches collected included the Rusty Rail Series and This is SA puzzles, which were all found at night!
Interesting artworks... similar to the series north of Apsley. A satisfying find.

Bloody Nanos! Spawn of satan. Burn down the Nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells Nanos. But I'll concede this was an appropriate use of a nano.
An interesting series of artwork, I particularly liked the swans in the creek.
Thanks for bringing me here Michells&hound.

I have checked this one out on a hound walk. The cache was there it had just been jammed in a place that made it very tricky to extract. I have now put the cache in the location that the hint alludes to. Should be the easy find it is supposed to be once again.
Please return the cache where you find it!
Cheers, michells&hound

Have a feeling that this one might have been moved, looked for ages and used the compass but there was nothing to be seen :/
Day 4.4 of my 2100+Km 4.4 day road trip.
Visiting Woodlands Heritage Park, Ocean Grove, Warrnambool, Naracoorte, Keith, Ouyen, Lake Boga, Ballarat and just about every town in between. (Not necessarily in that order)

This was one of the caches I found on my travels.
It was another great day for caching, with the first signs of summer in spring. (Bring it on.)
After staying in Naracoorte over night, it was a new day and also there were caches to be found.
I soon had the cache in hand and the log was duly signed.
'Scrat' visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Taking the geo kids caching during the school holidays, while towing a 24 foot caravan. We'll take every opportunity to grab a cache , including crossing creek and defending ourselves the hunters and big ants. This was a challenge to find with out being over taken by the ants but eventually found the sneaky little blighter and SL then it was another challenge to get it back into its hidey hole.
Thanks Michells&hound for placing & maintaining these cache for us to find.

Kept finding myself on the wrong side of the river for this one. Eventually had to just walk through it. Wet socks for the rest of my run. Loved the sculptures. Thank you
A weekend of caching with Freddo down at the South East.
We went as far as the Little Deset National Park.
A nice walk on a brisk Sunday morning. Neat hide on the ovious structure.

An interesting set of 2D-sculptures greeted us when we arrived at GZ. From there it was a systemmatic search which, thankfully, revealed the cache after a short time. Ther cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Micells&hound.
Found it but hd not realized the bull ants would still be active on a cool winter's evening!
#12 of 12 finds today. Having just arrived in town we visited the Information Centre to get the good oil on where we should go and what we should do in town, other than caching that is. When we arrived back at the car (muggle) hubby noticed the radiator was leaking. We were soon at a nearby Radiator business who worked miracles for us and we are much in debt to him for his help. However, while he and hubby were working their miracle, I decided to go for a wander to find this little beauty. I was not impressed when I arrived at GZ (glad I had not read previous logs) and wondered if i should do battle with these little fellows. Well, I may be a smitten granny but I am also a smitten cacher! So in I went. I looked high, I looked low, I looked inside, I looked outside, I looked right, I looked left and left I nearly did without finding the cache. I tried once more and there it was! I'll swear I had looked there before, but no worries, cache was in hand, log removed and signed (SG) and then replaced into the sneaky little hidey hole. Thanks for a great introduction to Naracoorte caches Michells&hound.
A quick find with the hint, I always look at the hint when looking for a Spawn of Satan!
Cool sculptures, not sure how accurate/relevant the dog is? Lol
TNLNSL (obviously!)
Thanks

The hunter has attracted a colony of ants around his feet which adds another factor of difficulty to this cache. With the new log sheet in place it is a pity we cannot claim a FTF LOL. SL TFTC
Replaced log. For once actually found the cache where I originally placed it.
Tried to find it yesterday and couldn't see it. Easy to spot the hunter though haha
Very tiny cache. Ants everywhere , becareful. I rode my bike over them to get access. Didnt write in Log book as it is full - need to replace.
Found it but while I was trying to log this my dog and I got attacked by the bull ants!
I was careful not to stand in the firing line.
Love the properties along the creek. Such nice backyards. Does it flood?
Found on a short trip south to escape the big smoke before the Xmas rush. Clear skies to Michells&hound from TeamAstro.

After cruising around for a while trying to find somewhere safe to park the van we finally set off on this track and quickly arrived at GZ. The cache container was quickly located but we did have to step away a bit to sign it as there was a nest of big bitey ants close to GZ.
Thanks, an interesting area with a dry creek and a very green waterhole.

Found with chooknchunk while in Naracoorte for the BLE. What a lovely spot to have over your back fence. Loved the artwork, but could find no information about it. A good hide. TFTC
Found with Misschief18, while in Naracoorte for the Big Little Event. Heading west today. We would never have found these lovely sculptures without being brought here by your cache. Thank you Michells&hound
Found this afternoon after having lunch with fellow geocachers at TBLE.

I hadn't read the cache description and only had the cache name to go by. Had a good giggle when I got up close to the hunter and was able to put my hands on the cache within seconds. Great spot for a cache, another one of those places that a visitor would just never come across were it not for caching. Left my trekking pole leaning up against him and only realised it just as I got back to the car, so did the trip twice! Cache #1969.
In Naracoorte with Genghicat for BLE2 & grabbing caches in the area

Nice quick cache and fortunately a relatively easy one which was good. Like KingsQuad, the time consuming thing was replacing the log (especially by torchlight).

Camped at Naracoorte this was to be our last day here so headed out to gather a few more smilies before moving tomorrow. Enjoyed a great walk around inside Struan House.
Magnificent weather today the best we have had here this week
We enjoyed the walk to GZ. Cache was quickly located in the first place we looked.
Loved the nearby Black swans made us feel at home.

Early morning walk with fog rising from the landscape, easy find but need to do the nano rant for a challenge cache in Adelaide, interesting sculptures.

After walking up the wrong side of the creek we crossed a tiny little bridge crossing to get to the hunter. Tftc
Cool spot never been there before, found it quick but there were ants everywhere
Yes it is tiny. Easy enough find for a nano though if you can stand still long enough without ants climbing up your legs
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers doing the Naracoorte caches as we head to the Oz Mega at Murray Bridge. A quick find while avoiding the ants nest. The hint is no longer relevant. TFTC.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Heading to the OZ Mega with whitewebbs picking up caches on the way. Staying a couple of days in Naracoorte and this was 1 of the caches we found. TFTC
