Out with hevwalker this afternoon before leaving for dinner.
We ended up getting more than we expected thanks to the helpful lady at the tennis courts who was super excited about this cache.
We initially thought that it might of been an end point to a puzzle being so close to the other cache.
So as hevwalker rang our helpful reviewer and revealed this cache had been archived.
So thanks for the bonus cache & our little adventure 3LG

clare007 & I found this archived cache this evening with the help of a lady from the tennis club...we were looking for the other Animal Facts : Flies when she came up and told us it was on the other side of the park...we went for a quick wander following her...she was hoping it was still there as she was excited about it & thought it was really cool...we found it quickly & signed the log...there was another entry from January this year but didn't recognise the name...there was nothing to indicate what the cache name was...a quick call to a frog and discovered it was this particular one...3LG, it's still there if you want to collect it...Thanks
New cache in a new location close to here but a different style of hide to this one, the really cool house opposite GZ which made this hide really cool is under renovation so will be just a normal house when finished
Out for some night caching with geonephew we got caught at 4am by a lovely lady at the tennis club, she told us we were close but that she thought it was gone. It's still in place TFTC
Found with 2011*turtle. Not our first attempt at finding this cache. Today without workmen in the area, and with the necessary tool we had no problems. TFTC
Found with vj187. Today we had the required tools and soon had it in hand. TFTC
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Cache for the day turned out to be this one. Had visited this one previously before the string of DNF's but I was muggled out of it before I could finish the search so didn't log a DNF as I also thought I was suffering cache blindness.
Anyway, today I was very wary, given the string of DNF's, that the cache was gone, but though I would give it a go anyway. Arrived on site and wandered to GZ, and as we tend to do looked in all the same places we have already looked, and of course nothing. So started looking wider. Looking, searching, looking, searching. Was getting worried as there was not a single fly in sight. Looking, searching, then suddenly what's that? Can't be!! But it is. YAY a cache. As commented by Tardis, this is an evil cache but very cleverly placed. Retreated to the car to sign log. As always with these evil nano's, it takes longer to re-roll the log and get it back into the container than it does to make the find, but completed the task and am now flying in the clouds with joy.

Despite the fact that this was a nano a favourite point is awarded.
What do you call a Fly without Wings?
A Walk.

Mr Tardis spent a few minutes searching at the decoy location a few metres away. Maybe I need glasses.
Then I saw it, even though this is an evil container, it was quite an elegant way to hide it, so only partly evil. A lovely new and fresh log sheet for Mr Tardis today. The same excitement when you get into bed after a hard day and it's fresh sheet night.
What vehicle has four wheels and flies?
A garbage truck.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Yay. A nano. Took me longer to roll the damn log sheet back up again than to find it in the first place. TFTC. 3/09/2015 18:50 Find #661

Tricky hide obvious once you work it out. Unable to sign as was worried would not be able to replace. TFTC
This is the exact type of cache I struggle to find, however tonight I was lucky, walked straight up to it. Good hide, thank you
Found it but log not signed due to pen failure. Annoying hide

After DNF'ing a nearby cache I decided to have a go at this one, which I failed at spectacularly some time ago. Tonight I had this one in hand within a minute. A very clever little nano that seemed to fit into its surroundings perfectly. If only it wasn't the odd one out ! Another spot in the calendar filled. TFTC 3LG!
After an appointment at Kent Town I had some errands to run and so in between stops, I managed to find 10 cache smileys and only had 1 DNF
A quick find of an interesting hide

My favourite kind. Found it then went and said a quick hello to the lovely Julia at the club. TFTC!
Second try at this one and found it in less than five minutes. Obviously overlooked it yesterday.
Very disappointed at not finding this one. It will not elude us and we'll be back!
Nice, very clever!!! Took a long time, but did find at night when there were no muffles around!!! Yay!!!
After a meal with Liz and Bruce at the Market, it was time for some night caching with Liz & Bruce, Moneydork and Semik. Clever container. TFTC.
Found this one while based with our caravan at the Semaphore Caravan Park. A lovely area to cache in. We particularly enjoyed our day out caching with SEMIK and Moneydork. Nice one. Thanks to 3LG for placing this cache.
Out with Mattycat for a caching run, spent quite a bit off searching before widening our search taking off the blinkers before the sneaky hide was discovered TFTC 3LG
Out cache hunting by torch and moonlight with team Froghoppin.

Spent a fair bit of time looking in the wrong places. Found a suspected cache, but as I was about to grab it, the darn thing flew away! Tried Freddo's trick of spotting it from the "corner of me eye" with no success. Frustratedly I was about to leave but as usual one more walk around...when "hey, what's that" moment came, and jubilations, the little critter was in my hands. Fav point. Thanks 3LG.
Damn flies !!
Scourge of the Earth !!
Yet in some ways .... so useful
Pity they are such a nuisance while trying to be useful
Here at GZ of flies I found none present [:o]
How nice [^]
So that left me with a conundrum ...
... where and how was the cache hidden ?
I had an idea based on previous finds of this series.
Nup !!
No luck after 15 minutes
It was while distracted by the nearby 'fence building council muggles' that I caught a glimpse of the 'fly' out of the corner of me eye
Damn obvious when you swat it

Brilliant! Not easy to find which made it all that much more exciting when we did. Love the idea
Brilliant! Not easy to find which made it all that much more exciting when we did. Love the idea! Now we are hooked, would love to be able to travel OS and find them. Good Luck to all who pass this way! You are all welcome to stop by for a spot of tennis on your travels... Cheers Julia
Much smaller than we expected.
Very clever! 2nd attempt as lady across the street stood and talked to her visitor for over 10 minutes at the fence.
Only so much you can pretend to do before you look suspicious.

This cache made me think about the movie The Fly that I enjoyed watching with a friend numerous times in my youth. No humans with wings or giant pupae found here though

Checked on this while in the area caching. Log was nearly full so replaced with a new log
Another animal fact bites the dust just like flies. Was more interested in the house nearby. TFTC.
I searched for quite some time but couldn't find it, I did how ever find a piece of frayed string, maybe it has been damaged or i'm really bad at looking..
10522 caches found
nicely hidden, did not take long to find

left : nothing

Once we knew the evilness of which we searched we quickly had it in hand.

Finally found the little rotter with help from a newbie and fellow cacher! My first microcache. I was looking in the right location, but the camouflage really threw me.
Spied the little blighter upon pulling up.No flies on us.(We have the exact type of hide on our tennis courts near home).TFTC
Have been past GZ a few times whilst home for weekends, but the area has been far to busy to stop for a search.
Today I was home for a Friday so decided I should take the opportunity to knock off the cache closest to home
Took a little while before I finally spotted the cache. Took awhile to extract the log, add my name and replace, although I was able to enjoy looking at the rather eccentric sculptures over the road

Public Holiday and very hot so no one around. Just as well took mobile phone ages to settle with coords -had geo grandson and myself across the road and I knew that was wrong. Zeroed in on gz and there it was. Grandson is amazed at the variety of caches.
Owl had gotten used to a certain kind of 3LG hide, so needed help from a PaF line to reorientate her thinking. A nicely executed example, even if it is one of those nasty creatures. (No rant, as Owl has already completed that particular challenge.)
Quite the brain buster, need to think out side the square and look where it should be.. Easy find in the end great cache!
It took me a while to search but I found it in the end. Cool cammo. Fav from me.

Found during a foray into the western suburbs. Searched around for a bit, then pondered the possibilities. Finally spotted the little critter from afar. Thanks for the cache 3LG!

With it being a cooler day out of a few hot ones we had to make tonight the caching night as its been too hot otherwise
It was a successful evening for tonight with no DNF's and a silver

Searched the obvious spots before widening our search area [8], stopping occasionally as a birthday party was being held at the clubhouse and some of the children wandered over the road to have a look at the Micky Mouse house .

Tricky hide but you expect that for a fly. Fan out.
Thanks to 3LG and clear skies from TeamAstro.
Took a little detour on the way to work to grab this one. Took longer than it should have because I had it in my mind what I thought I was looking for. [?] [?] Looked high and low, round and round, then like Huurtle looked outside the square and yes there it was.
Had a bit of trouble getting the log and had to use a geotool, but all good, signed the log and replaced, then headed off to work feeling pleased that I had found this one.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

FTF together with Huurtle. We got distracted by something else but found the little cache after almost giving up. Thanks 3LG
Stopped here on way home and ran into Squizzie.
Between us we looked high and low at GZ, eventually, with quitter's luck, we found it a lil further afield....
Nice cammo. Hope future finders don't destroy the trees in tgeir search.
Passed my FTF geocoin through.
Thanks
