There is a lot of building going on in the park so I would suggest the cache has gone.
Undercover picnic tables have all been demolished, not sure if it was near there but the compass was pointing there.
Unless it has moved a long way from where we originally found it, it looks like it has been muggled.
Better take a look.

No luck today which is a bummer cause im not a fan of these DNF's haha. Maybe next time.
On our way from Sydney to Armidale and the Waterfall Way. We had our lunch at a nice little park in town. The public restroom was nicer than our bathroom at home including a vase with flowers! We walked up to Lions Park and to the sound of a squeaky swing while a grandfather entertained a young girl we searched to no avail. It must be there but our eyes and hands just couldn't locate it. Nice visit to Walcha. Cheers... Gaztek
Did not find. After getting back to my computer I note that others have remarked that the coords are out. Wish I had known that. will have another go when passing through.
TFTC, after logging a DNF on my last attempt, I saw it had been found, so I tried again on my trip thru Walcha, I did find it in under 2 minutes this time, although co ords had me out by 12 metres. Happy to have this one off my to do list.
Not Found. Spent a lot of time there are just too many hiding holes and I was not up to the challenge.
Took a while but persistance paid off in the end.
Sneaky hide.
Found with snakepiters

This was an interesting one. Originally our GPS wanted us to took in a different area, but after searching very carefully around there and finding nothing. we decided to widen the search area. This meant after another very careful and persistent search the cache came to light. We were very happy to sign the log and claim a smiley for this one. The cache was then replaced where it had been found. Thank you aussie rover89 for placing this cache for cachers to have the challenge of finding.
Thanks, thats a hard one, its tiny, looks like im first on the sign sheet since 2015 - Beavis
Looked for quite a while without luck. I didn't expect to log a find with so many dnf's. Not a hard rating either?
Maybe next time

We did a pretty thorough search today aided by a couple TOT's with no luck. Later we passed by to see some geocachers looking as well. We stopped and they were giving up after a big search also. I suspect the cache may have gone.
Will endeavour to get up to Walcha to check on the caches welfare however it may be a few weeks. It has always been a hard one so hopefully it is still there.
Good search but no luck, i think its long gone, none out of three for this trip, none or bad recent activity on these caches, not regularly monitored.
We got mixed up with the wrong park so we couldn't find it
Ps: THERE WAS A MUGGLE!

A cool morning in Walcha. It is there but may be in wrong place we had conflicting gps readings. Tftc
We drove out to Walcha from our campsite at Uralla to visit nearby Apsley Falls. It was raining quite a lot and we were puddling around looking for this one but eventually came up with the prize. TFTC
Inbetween snow storms and muggles we couldn't find it... Think we will have to revisit when its a little warmer
Sadly no cache on our day trip from Port Mac knew it wasnt going to be easy if Browngang didnt find it (and being the vertically challenged person I am!) but was still hoping it would show itself...sadly nothing
Another under difficulty rated corrugated iron shelter cache. I spent ages here in between muggles using the amenities. I've seen these hides rated as hard as 4 or 5. Used all manner of geotools to no avail. Thanks anyway
We had such a great time at the mega in Stanthorpe. Sadly it is now time to make our way towards Sydney, and back home to Canada. Picking up a few caches as we go, unfortunately this wasn't one of them.
Had a good look for this one but darn, came up empty handed.
Thanks anyways aussie_rover89

Whoops! My son found it just as I posted the did not find. Clever little container. It wasn't what we expected! Thanks

Heading south from the mega event on our way back to Sydney, while we didn't have to make it in one day and in fact only got as far as Gloucester before a big storm rolled in it was never going to be a big geocaching run, just a chance to add some more dots to the map rather than trying to hit every cache along the way.
Turned up to find another team searching, but after downloading the latest 3 DNFs realised it likely wasn't there. Still we had a good look around to no avail, then a local turned up to ask what we were doing (in a nice way). We explained it to him, and he said they are actually going to remodel the shelter and extend the verandah part out shortly to provide more shelter from the rain. So it looks like this one may well be gone given the recent DNFs and previous logs about easy finds. And given the upcoming work. Shame as I wanted to put a dot on the map here as I have never been to Walcha before. Thanks Aussie rover89.

Visit with Geohub, Geoson, and geograndies. All on the case, but could not find.....
On the way to the Qld Mega with Skyebomonkeytown, Ali600 & Calypso62 . We spent some time searching but came up emptyhanded. Will keep for another time.
On my way to the QLD Mega Event with Skyebomonkeytown, Ali600 and Geotooter. A quick stop but no prize for us today.
No luck today with Calypso62, Geotooter and Ali600 as we convoyed to the mega.

no luck again this time. we tried on our trip south on 5th march, no luck then
we usually have smoko at the little park in town at Walcha on our trips along Thunderbolts Way.
we didn't realise this lovely little park was here, thanks to the Lions Club, so thank you aussie rover for bringing us to it.
no doubt we will travel this route again, and hope to get a smilie .

Lovely tidy park with nice clean toilets. Last find for the day on way home from geocaching event hosted by Geocaching NSW at Port Macquarie. With #Weebindi
Well that was embarrassing! My last DNF was as a result of my making an assumption about where GZ was based on a photo in the gallery....lesson learned! Using my garmin instead of my brain made it a quick find! TFTC aussie rover
Finally found after a little time searching.
Great little park!

Very easy find - walked straight up and put my hand on it. Coords spot on. Early Sunday morning - I was back in the car and plotting my next find when the local council worker arrived to open the toilets and see if I was waiting to use them
Wonderful tiny park for the littlies. Thanks for bringing me back to Walcha for a morning.

A tricky little find! Keep looking it's still there! Looked a few days ago and couldn't see it! But a second look was a good idea!! Really tiny! We used our phone torch to find it!! We forgot a pen so couldn't write our names! But might come back later to write it down!!
After having spent the night at the Woko National Park, we continued north along Thunderbolt Way, finding some caches along the way. This was one of them.
Searched a short while before finding the cleverly hidden cache.

Hunted around for a while but no could find. All part of the game when cycling around Australia.
"Ah, man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a Heaven for?" Especially when you're as short as me, picnic tables notwithstanding.

We DNF'd 1 caches today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 8:40:00 AM, but we couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

This was our lunch spot as we wandered our way home from our school holiday trip to Sydney. Not a soul in sight as we lunched, played and cached. I made Mr DisSister retrieve the cache just in case of critters hiding there. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, aussie_rover89.
Found on a very cold and wet Monday morning on the way to work in Uralla. I must have been the only man on the New England in shorts and the knees were a bit blue by the time the cache was in hand. Many thanks aussie rover89
On a cold and wet day, what else to do but go caching. Muggle mate N and I searched and searched, but had to resort to PAF for this one. What a great container and a great hide. TFTC aussie_rover89, SL.
I couldn't find this one. Luckily geo daughter was tall enough or I would never have found it! TFTC
Found at 1:06 PM GAFF1. After doing the Bendemeer cache we were more in tune of the hiding method and so with a gloved hand it was quickly felt!
We haven't cached in Walcha for about 5 years, so it was good to be back and explore more areas.
Thanks aussie_rover89.

Thanks aussie_rover89.
It was sunny but still quite cold after a minus 6 night. A quick find while picnickers (one in a sleeveless shirt!) were nicely out of view. TFTC aussie rover89.
After some DNFs in Newcastle recently, it's good to see we have our mojo back by finding one with a couple of DNFs of it's own . Yay [^], but it may have suffered some cache creep which the CO could check on. SL, TFTC
On our way towards Tamworth, stopped here on the way.
A nice reason to stop, rest & cache.
Got a pie from the bakers & had lunch here.
Thanks for placing this cache aussie rover89

So excited there's new geocaches on this route but unfortunately no luck with this today.
We vertically challenged people have to carry an elevation device for these caches. But not too many muggles to wonder what we were doing, so all was well. TFTC
This one is my second First to Find Cache in four days, so I am very pleased with myself.
