A check on the cache showed substantial changes in the area which does not fit in with the original concept. Will think and either replace or archive this cache. Thanks to those that have found it.
Soccer tournament going on but quickly spotted the goods when I trusted the gps!i must admit I love the term "geo catching"-tftc
Out for the day with Vamber collecting a few caches on the Shore.

Out and about with KiwifruitsNZ in the Shore, gathering some cache finds for the day.
A short stroll through this neck of the woods, and we soon found this container. Thanks for the hide!

Carried on along the coastal track from "Nailed" until it was time to head off-trail. Arrived near GZ and began to scan around for a likely hide. Our GPS was pointing into the centre of a mess of felled trees and branches, but other logs told us we did not need to look there. Returned once more to the most obvious, and this time one of us quickly spotted the cache. Thanks.
Scotty & Kiwi out on this rainy morning getting a couple of local finds to keep our daily streak running. Nice quick find. All rather exposed at gz now. Lots of tress have been chopped which may explain why we did not come across any of the decoys. TFTC
Out and about this afternoon for a few caches after work today. I had a nice walk through the rain to get to GZ. It was nice to have the shelter of the trees. A nice quick find was mad here and the log soon signed. Nice views across the water from the trail here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Out doing maintenance checks on some of my caches so decided to pick up a couple of caches that have gone by the way. Fortunately this cache is in a bit better condition than my own currently. Reasonably quick find.

Vistra and I decided to have a numbers day and look at finding what we could on the shore. Day filled with all sorts of weather from showers to high wind, still kept relatively dry and had a enjoyable day.
A lovely walk through the park and quiclk find. TFTC

I joined forces with yorkshirekiwi83 and spent the day caching over on the North Shore - trying to make a small dent on the caches over there! Took a bit of searching, but we eventually had the cache in hand! TFTC!
Was at the park with the kids and saw this was near. Great adventure and very cool cache. Didn't have a pen to write in logbook unfortunately. My kids say it was very pretty, cool and well hidden. Tftc.
A check on the cache, no damage water or otherwise to the cache itself has happened and in the pristine state on placement almost a year ago. A decoy that could well appear to be the cache was severely water logged so if you were searching it would appear as a damaged cache. We are more than happy for finders after 21/09/14 to 05/01/15 to log as found for the damaged decoy.
Will review to keep a decoy or two or more or just have the single cache. The cache will be enabled shortly as the actual cache is not currently in place.
Thanks all for hunting, happy cachingļ:)

Need to check on the cache given the last two posts, should be available in about 10 days time I.E. before 15/01/15
Thanks for the heads up from the previous two finders.

Found without too much effort. Log wet and mushy. Replaced log with new sheet and repackaged with new snaplock bag. TFTC
Found a wet and soggy pulp of paper and a plastic bag with a soggy log. This cache needs help. Thanks.
Nice idea for a cache, I remember the first "dummy" cache from Glyn I found... It did take a while TFTC
Found quickly after watching our daughters play soccer. A lovely area. The log book was totally expised and sodden, we couldn't write on it.
12.45pm. Out for a cache with JF, they got it before the rest of us had a chance!

Funny story, found something which we thought was a cunning hide which even had a log in a plastic bag... but no- a false alarm... found proper cache. t4tc
Wandered across the fields for a quick find, the path holds too many memories of long searches for an old multi.

Found our way out here on some other business and this is the only cache in the are we have not done so it was a great one to tick off. Wandered along the path, across the wet grass and to where the GPS was pointing. Must off came in from the right angle as no dummies here today, straight to the cache. Thanks
Returned to the scene, with much better results this time. 1 dummy, 1 cache, 2 dummies and finally a find. Always nice to stroll around here, tide was in today, looking just lovely in the estuary. Starting on a new challenge today 50 days in a row lol... decided this one was closest to home. Day 1 done, 49 to go. SL. TFTC.
I needed a cache for today and I decided to have a go for this one. I found two of the dummies (don't know if there are any more) and then the final.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Made GZ but it was doggy walk day today on this track & just not the right time to be loitering. Will be back another day.
Well this one sure turned out to be a bit more than meets the eye. Talk about red herrings and frustration. However, I persisted with all the dead ends and was finally rewarded with the cache. Good work guys well worthy of a favourite.
Decided to give this one a go with teotocchi as it sounded like it was a goodie and turns out it was.
Initially thought it was way easier than it was suggesting, but that was soon corrected and we spent a good while here after working our way through the first couple of decoys. Definitely over complicated it in the end but it's a great cache to do and worth it. Seems others may have been through here though as there is already signs of wear and tear not really consistent with just a couple of searchers. Cache itself is still in very good nick and this one easily earns a favourite - TFTC

Was in the area this evening to have another try on a cache and decided to give this one a go. Can't log a DNF as we didn't find anything other than the dummy. Too clever for us, we didn't know what else we were to do on this one. Congrats to Helefant managing it in the dark. Awesome.
Was in bath when I heard the text, didn't take much notice as thought it was a reply from my daughter.
Out of bath but still in towel I checked the message - hmm a cache, oh a close cache, damn hubby is facebooking and wont come with me (he's not a cacher or catcher). Not willing to go bush at night by myself and it was already 40mins since publishing, I had kind of given it up as a lost cause, When hubby relented.
Quickly dressed and while he finished talking to friend on facebook I was skipping back and forth to geocaching.com to upload co-ords to GPSr.
Got to park and hour after publishing. Managed to trip up a couple of times while looking at phone to check if anyone had logged a find yet - trying not to get too excited that I might actually get an FTF.
Got to within 20m of GZ when one of the torches died, so had to carefully navigate the last bit with me moving forward a few meters then shine torch behind so hubby could catch up (all a bit of fun really).
Got to GZ and thought I'd found cache very quickly, but no I hadn't, then hubby found something, but that turned out, after a frustrating time, not be the cache either. Third time lucky and a blank log sheet to boot.
Loved the cache, although I wouldn't have said this while I was looking for it. Definitely a well designed tribute to Glyn. TFTC
