TFTC. This was a lot harder than we were expecting. Couldnt find the first reflector from GZ, another was on the ground as the bark had fallen off the tree, couldnt find the last one before the actual cache, but luckily found the cache anyway. Was going to attempt the other 2, but given a DNF on one and the log on the other stating missing rocks thought wed give it a miss!Would love to come back after some maintenance and try again!Setting up camp for a week in Murray Bridge before the MEGA for 29th Feb!Moving to Ballarat for another week afterwards. Last hurrah travelling before wooding season at home starts!Happy caching and safe travels!
This was a lot of fun. I had it in mind that I might be in this neighbourhood at sunset, and have come prepared with a good torch, but due to the way the day has played out, Im here at 6pm and its actually way too light. Ive previously had success attempting a night cache in broad daylight in the company of Skuzzybear, so bearing that in mind, I give this one a shot. I work out what were looking for, and realise that a bright torch on a nocturnal drop bear isnt working at all, so I start seeing if I can pick up a trail and follow it to the end. Its not that easy, but I dont have any other caches in the area to attempt, so I persist, and finally find the prize.I feel Ive cheated myself out of a memorable night time adventure here, but I still have the other two nearby night caches to do (I suddenly have a dinner date in Adelaide!), and I will revisit this one then. Thanks for the work thats gone into this one Frozen Feet, a favourite.
went in at dusk and found my way along until cache was in hand, not easy to spot at night, especially with all the creepy noises around and waiting for something to pounce out of the darkness, glad to say nothing did, but I think I may have aged a little - a fave coming your way TYFTC
Out this evening doing maintenance and finding a few caches.
I had been out here before, must of had cache blindness.
Parked the geomobile and then went for a stroll.
Quickly located the cache and stamped the logbook. Tftc

Staying in Mt Barker with iluvtrekking for long weekend. Out caching around Murray Bridge and enjoying the views. After a big day caching we decided to do the night caches on the way out of town. Even though it’s been some time since this one last had a visit, the w/p’s and cache are all in good order. Thanks for the hide Frozen Feet.
After double checking with the CO about access we got in with a little bit of help. It helps to be a bit taller. We got to ground zero and armed with a stick made our way forward.
One tip I will say is don’t be like me and think oh my phone will give enough torchlight. If Secret Potato hadn’t brought her headlamps I think we’d still be scratching our heads.
Once we got going though it was fairly straight forward. The final stage before the cache was awesome. Sumscio had the cache in hand fairly quickly.
It was the first night cache for all of us. What a great way to end our geocaching adventure today. Many thanks to the CO for being so quick to reply to my questions!

Last one for the morning. Needing to move quickly now. Luckily we were able to get close enough to find it.

EsromL and I headed out today for a walk and a few caches along the way. We timed it to take advantage of the early darkness at this time of the year so we might attempt the night caches out this way.
After successfully completing two other nearby night caches, we gave this one a go.
Two torches and two sets of eyes makes a difference. We did have some trouble at times, but managed to follow the trail, discovering plenty of little dropbears, vampiroos and zombats along the way.
When we got to the creature holding the final clue to the whereabouts of the cache we were a bit concerned that some of the numbers had faded badly and weren’t readable. However, knowing it wouldn’t be far away and with a bit of trial and error with the numbers, we soon had some coordinates that worked and found the cache and contents in good order.
Thanks Frozen Feet for the cache. A favourite point for the effort that has gone into this one!

Spending the day in the Monarto area grabbing a lot of caches that are filling my map TFTC
Some of the drop bears are looking a little sad

Working night shift we don’t have many opportunities to do night caching, so we took our chances during the day. Imagine it would be a lot easier done the way it was intended, but we had fun spotting the animals and hunting down the cache. A fantastic hunt! TFTC!
A last minute decision to do some night caching, and since rain wasn’t in the forecast, we decided to head to Monarto to target a few specific night caches with gridge98.
This cache was the first of the night, and one of the favourites. A very easy path to follow and some great themed sights on the way. Cache and logbook in very good condition - many thanks for this one, very worthy of a FP!
Swapped a TB also.

Made the last minute decision to come out this way to the manarto region to do some of the night caches and pick up some other caches whist our here. Mostly easy finds for us. These 4 night caches are really cool and I really enjoyed them TFTC
Found tonight on a bit of a cold night with our 2 geo kids. 4yo has a blast finding the trail. Was one of the best night caches we have done. Well worth the drive. TFTC
Wow!!! Loved the challenge of this one. A few drinks and we were off!! Go Family4P and thebakers. Thanks for the effort and the scares, lol!!! SL. Awesome cache to do
OMG.... this is what nightmares are made of. I'm now traumatized.. for life.
1 horrifying find after another. The endless terror!
We LOVED this so much! AMAZING cache trail!
We were a little stumped at the end but once we worked out what the go was we were soon with the cache in hand!
Thankyou so much for placing this night cache for us to find. High praise to you! Definately a fave point coming your way! We are now hooked on night caching and need to find more!
(Cute cuddly pic for reference!)

First drop bears were missing making it hard to get started on the trail. A couple of fire tacos added at the start to get you on your way. All other zombie critters still in place but looking a bit bedraggled- extra fire racks added at each critter for better visibility.
Only first couple of critters missing, extra firetacks added to help you find the trail. Firetacks added at each critter to increase visibility.
We arrived after sunset to tackle the three night caches in the area but, although we had success with the other two, we left this one rather frustrated. After getting to the posted coordinates, we looked around for about 10 minutes before locating the object. The problem was that the object had become rather floppy and had bent over, obscuring the reflectors. We looked for the second for about another 10 minutes before finding a single firetack amongst the leaf litter on the ground. We could not match it with a Dropbear, Vampireoos or Zombat. About five minutes later we located another object face down on the ground - it had fallen from where it had been placed. At that point we gave up as there wasn't a trail to follow, just a random collection of objects from the cache which varied in reflectivity. This potentially excellent night cache needs extensive refurbishment - it has suffered from being out in the open so long. Thanks anyway Frozen_Feet - we hope that the cache can be refurbished so that we can return to enjoy the intended experience.
*Grabbing a cache or two to maintain my current streak*...

This one had been taunting me as I drove past for TOO long... I decided tonight was the night...
Enjoyed the walk through the pleasant area... A night straight forward night cache...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Frozen Feet... Appreciate your efforts...

I needed Nutso my grandson) to hold my hand as I don’t like to going in dark as it was very early in the morning. Good thing that Nutso had a powerful torch.
Thanks for fun.

Took on the challenge of searching by daylight and was not disappointed! That is, after a few false starts in a couple of random directions. Attempted Reflecting Rocks and Slenderman using the same principles, but must admit failure as the 'tracks' turned cold, so will return another time (i.e. after the sun actually sets!) Thanks for the cache Frozen Feet!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Who knew night time caching could be so much fun?!!! I was fortunate enough to go out with 2 experienced cachers and another newbie - lots of laughter, lots of questions asked and answered, so cool that I wanna do it all over again!!!
I was certainly a little tentative when we pulled up and I realised I had to either go under or over the barbed wire fence....I chose under and made it without getting got...and then the realisation we were in a reserve filled with animals...some of them alive, but hopefully not hungry.....others furry with reflector fangs! (I know which ones I like best!)
Fortunately I'd just put fresh batteries in the torch, it served well whilst completing the 3 night time caches here.
TFTC Frozen Feet - SPECTACULAR and soooooo much fun!!

Having completed one of the nearby "Walkies" series,
brisal5 & I decided to complete the night caches as its been on the 'To Do List.'
Finding the right direction and the first waypoint, (handy having a guide with you)
Very handy having a head torch as well as it's the perfect height.
A great concept for a night cache, thanks for multi Frozen feet

Merry christmas to me. I ventured out for a walk in the night. [8D[
After a false start. I spied the second marker first and then went from there back to the start point.
A quick look at GPS and saw my mistake. Doh.
Beginning again from the start it was a very quick walk with the trail well marked by those carnivorous little creatures. The a quick find and left an appropriate TB. Thanks Frozen Feet.

Following an afternoon of tackling the butchwalking series, The pirates met up with the Double Helix Clan again for some night time cacheing. It was cold, but we rugged up well, grabbed some torches and thankfully got some help from the full moon.

Whilst planning our caching weekend trip to celebrate our 365 day streak, which happened to be the 7th of August, we decided to head down to the Monarto area for a few night caches via a kayak at Mannum :c) A nice quiet, still night to tackle some caches. Caught sight of the first dropbear near the starting coordinates… bearing its big pointy teeth with blood stained fur… we bravely ventured quietly into the night, spotting a few rare vampiroos and a zombat. An awesome night cache deserving of a favourite point from us :c) TFTC and the adventure Frozen Feet!!
Omg! By far one of my favourite night cache trails! They are creepy yet cute. First few were hard to spot but they soon started to show their true colours! My last night cache in SA as I fly home to Perth today tfth it was really cool!
This was my favourite for the evening ans out 1100th find!
Such a great cache with lots of effort put in. First few critters on the trail are probably the hardest to find! I took some fun pics but won't post as to not spoil such a great adventure waiting for the next cacher!
Thanks again for an awesome experience FrozenFeet!

I'll be honest, this cache gave us the creeps. Totally wasn't sure what to expect on a lonely Friday night. Geodog was also refusing to walk. But wow, we had so much fun! Got a little lost then found our way. This entire geocache exceeds expectations. Thank-you so much for putting in the effort!
[blue]Congratulations this cache has reached the voting level for the SAGA Awards 2014. Please find attached graphic for reaching the final voting stage of the Awards.
After a big day out, these were the last caches for the day. 15h and 400km into my journey and over 20km of hiking in the legs, I was ready for one more challenge.
Like the previous finders I got to GZ just a fraction early. I spotted the first scary creature swiftly, but the next one was nowhere to be seen. I hung around for another 20minutes and checked all directions to no avail, until suddenly I saw a little shimmer. This one must have been a real dropbear as again it was lying on the ground, ready to attack my ankles. After that and with almost complete darkness, it was plain sailing.

We were visiting Mrs C's brother and his family for the day in Murray Bridge and decided to find these three night caches on the way home to Strath once it got dark.
We parked at the suggested Parking WP and headed off to the Coordinates. It wasn't quite dark yet but it was dark enough to be able to use Mr C's super excellent torch to catch the reflectors. We found the first Dropbear on the ground having obviously dropped onto some unsuspecting prey. We assisted it back up to a nice pearch and headed off on the trail of the others.
Some of the Dropbears, Vampiroos and Zombats are looking a little weathered but nothing to be concerned about - it makes them look so much scarier rather than cute and fluffy! We soon found the group (flock, murder, pod, mob or what ever a group of Aussie nightmare animals are called) who were guarding GZ's coordinates then we were at GZ saying hello to the not as scary little cache guardian.
We both absolutely loved this cache. A well deserved favorite point from us. TFTC Frozen Feet.

The cache did not start off very positive at first, The first animal we found is a little worst for wear and must be getting a little old as his fangs have fallen out.
The second animal must have seen us and had jumped to the ground to either be friends with us or attack. We returned him to his tree, hoping it was the correct place.
All the other animals that we saw on our walk through the bush were all in good condition, perhaps they were a younger generation.
All in all we had a fantastic time looking for them. SL TNLN TFTC

Holy Moly this was the most delightful cache find.
A couple of years ago I attempted a night cache out in the bush on Phillip Island. The scrub was somewhat thicker, and very much more densely populated with wildlife than what we experienced for this cache. Stupidly I attempted the island cache on my own on a moonless night, and after 20 minutes in the dark with all manner of wildlife sounds around me, believe me, I thought I was surrounded by Dropbears, Vampiroos and Zombats! I worked myself into quite a state of terror.
After scampering back to my lodging I bribed my darling muggle-man (with a promise of no dishes for a week) to accompany me out on a second attempt, believing foolishly that having him by my side would stop me from being terrified of all the crashing and scampering sounds in the bush (and yes, I know all our mainland marsupials are harmless, but they sure don't sound harmless when they're bashing around the bush in the dark!). Sadly, after an hour of trying I was no more successful with my "protector" by my side, and I vowed one day I'd try again, AND I'd try another night cache. Therefore, when the weather turned much more pleasant over the last few weeks and I discovered that my parents would be staying out Murray Bridge way for a time, I hatched a plan with Sylken to come out night caching and finally conquer a night cache.
We had a ball, took zillions of photos, saw oodles of Dropbears, Vampiroos and Zombats, and I am very chuffed to finally have a night cache with a smiley!
Thanks for such a wonderful cache, if I could give it two favourite points I would!

Geohubby and I are staying in Murray Bridge for a few weeks hoping to find some of the many caches available. Our geodaughter 'KAROPI' joined us last weekend and suggested we try some night caches. None of us have ever attempted them before and with three nearby night caches and all with many favourite points it was an opportunity too good to miss.
She arrived after work on Friday, we had a quick meal and headed to Monarto South. We were all delighted to see the various 'critters' leading us on and many photos were taken
What a great start to our night caching experience....many thanks Frozen Feet. Another favourite point will be coming your way as soon as we have earned it. We used up all our stocks recently while caching and hiking for six weeks in the Grampians in Victoria but with so many caches available locally in Murray Bridge I don't think it will be long before we have more at our disposal
Thanks again...we had a ball[^][^][^]

[center]8004. [green] I asked winglen on our way back to Canberra what the highlight cache/caches were for this trip and we couldn't really think of any. Over 800 caches in 6 days will do that to you I suppose. Well now that I'm logging all the finds the memory is jolted and these three were very special particularly as we did them at the end of a very long day.
Lots of work, thought, planning and execution put in to these night caches and the effort was well appreciated.
Thanks for the cache [blue]Team Wibble[/blue] and the cutest little nasty creatures ever..[/green][/center]

Found this whilst on a caching run with McPhan to SA, leaving our 'McWin' stamp as we went.
There were very few multis selected for this trip but McPhan insisted these three were 'in', and very glad he did. Despite 200 caches and 12 hours behind us since starting today, these were a highlight (no pun intended!). The little monsters (Lady Gaga anyone?) shone out nicely in the torchlights and it was all over too soon.
Thanks Frozen Feet for the cache.
We came up here on the recommendation of a fellow cacher and we weren't disappointed! We got to ground zero, stood there, and looked around. Thought we saw some movement in a tree so we looked a bit harder - it was a dropbear! Looked around a bit more and there were more of them. We were slowly being surrounded so we thought the best course of action was to get out of there, and quickly. So off we went and eventually found the nesting place of these evil critters. The log was signed and we made good our escape. Thankfully thecoxcrew remains intact. Favourite point coming your way Team Wibble. Picked up Go Kart TB, LNSL. TFTC.
Found with Maxdebtfiler during the 2014 Easter event in Murray Bridge.I really like this cache. Thanks Frozen feet
Team Wibble, you never disappoint us! Yu put a lot of effort into every single cache of yours and I have enjoyed finding this one in particular! This deserves 100 favourite points but unfortunately I can only give you one!

Something was up tonight as the Drop Bears, Vampiroos, and Zombats were seen everywhere. Bushmans does not work - so don't waste your time. We found turning out the headlight helped fend off the attacks, but you spend more time walking into the elements. Their shrieking and and mocking laughter helps build the hysteria. Luckily I had danceforlove there to get me out alive. (she cant have been as tasty as me)
Scratched, bruised, permanently scarred, and now discharged from the funhouse we write this log as a warning to fellow cachers.........

What does a cat do after a night at Murray Bridge theatre?
Go hunting Dropbears of course!
What a lovely night for a single cat to stroll around under watchful eyes
A great set up, well done. tftc
(Fav, have to bring my son back now)

Oh what fun this was! After touching one, Big Peedle said he was bitten by a Dropbear and infected and then chased Little Peedle - much squealing and giggling ensued. Interspersed with the odd Dropbear growl! We wish we could give more than one favourite point, your effort Team Wibble, has been most appreciated and enjoyed.
Loved this night series. Kids missed out on the experience - but probably would have freaked anyway. TNLNSL.
We had no sooner parked than we were joined by Everlasting, Jacaro44 and Felix II and decided a group-hunt was probably the safest way to go. Mrs Ozjeeper decided not to trust her sore knee in the dark and stayed in the safety of the car. Some ungaily fence straddling by the rest of us was followed by a torchligh foray into the dark, dark bushland.
Suddely the first of the viscious Drop Bears was soon spotted just waiting for an unwary passer-by. Ever vigilant, we gingerly followed the trail of these creepy creatures until at last we achieved our mission and signed the logbook without the loss of any member of our group.
Well done Team Wibble for a unique caching experience and one that I'm sure we will all long-remember. This cache definately gets a Favorite Point from us for an innovative approach to night caching.

Our last full day in Murray Bridge today and we decided to take it easy after all the rushing around that we have been doing during the Oz Mega. [^]
Headed out midmorning to tackle some shopping and lunch. But of course just had to find our cache fix for the day.
During lunch we got an offer from Everlasting to join her and Jacaro44 to tackle some night caches. How could we refuse such great company.
On arrival at the parking point a car was leaving with Oz Mega flags on. We realised they were trying to talk to us and turns out it was Oz Lurker and they had not found the access point. We soon joined forces to tackle these caches.
Great fun in a group.
TFTC A fave from us.

An intrepid troop from the West, namely FelixII, Everlasting and jacaro44 were about to enter the dreaded night forest when the troop was fortified and strengthened by the joining of forces with Team OzLurker. With the lead changing by the moment (as no-one wanted to be the last in line) we quickly spotted the tracks and signs of the fearful monsters of the night. As a close knit group we made our way to GZ and made the find without casualty. A thankful group then moved quitely off towards another challenge. We are leaving a fav as an offering of thanks for our safe delivery from this most perlious adventure.
Thanks for a truely spine tingling adventure Team Wibble.

We survived the savage locals and found the cache easy enough. Luckily our smallest team member didn't really notice the fangs.
Another great Team Wibble cache!
Thanks guys for the night adventure.

We were walking around with our torches and we spotted these triangle reflectors in the distance and followed the trail. Must admit the way the reflectors were layer out was pretty cool. TFTC Team Wibble.
OMG so enjoyed very much - excellent night as not too cold - just perfect for a walk around the bushland with jacaro44, FelixII and Team OzLurker, Signed the log... Thanks Team Wibble for excellent organising the night caches... See pics...
Some more spooky night caching.
The best part of a Mega.
We had a great time on the Mega-Easter-Week-End-of-Caching.

Found with Skyebomonkeytown & Calypso62 during our mighty Murray Bridge Oz Mega experience. We really enjoyed the great fun and fantastic camaraderie of the Mega and finding this cache really added to our overall enjoyment. Thanks so much for placing this hide.
Out at Night with the GeoNanni and GeoNephew for some spooky night caching. Saw lots of drop bears, vampiroo's and zombats, but lucky for us, we are still alive and caching! TFTC.
Met up with Burton's and 'scargoes for some night caching, something we rarely do [|)].
This series of three were the first on our list and we enjoyed how they flowed, one to the next .
Who would have thought these cute little creatures could have such a dark side [?]. We were just happy it wasn't raining - that would have made the place look like jurassic park [xx(].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Team Wibble.

For our last night at the Mega Event we decided to do night cache, and were pleasantly surprised to find there were three to be done only a short drive from the campsite.
As a result of doing it during the Mega, there were a lot of people at the start, with calls by some to wait for even more as we hoped across the fence. Eventually we got going. The kids in the group loved the reflective waypoints, and they were soon running ahead to find the prize. A great experience and a favourite. Thanks

#85 found in my Oz mega trip with frankiewan1117, I did night caching once only in the Albury Mega. It was pretty scary for me at the beginning, lucky we ran into some other cachers and more eyes look for the reflective rocks later. Thanks for setting this up. Greetings from Hong Kong.
Found it at the last night in the mega event. Among 3 night caches, I love the first one most! Actually I found one night cache in Hong Kong, but this one is much easier and interesting. Thanks for setting up this series of nightcaches. Also, enjoy join force with other caches. Nice to meet you all! Add favourite point.

Out caching with Disc and 'scargoes with a plan to do all 5 night caches.
The Big little kids had a ball following the glows through the darkness. Enjoyed the flow of the three night caches together, which offered 3 different and wonderful experiences.
Cheers and thanks for the fun

Completed this one with my family (DeltaDucks) and the Drovers. Really enjoyed these night caches - thanks
Tackled this and the two other night caches with D of Landau351 while the rest of out teams were back at base. These were quite straight forward and well set out. Nice an easy to follow and obviously well maintained. There were lots of cars when we arrived but not too many people around in the bush as we started reasonably late (about 10.00pm). Thanks Team Wibble

On our last night in Murray Bridge for the Mega we got talked into doing not just one night cache but 5 of them. It was great introducing Geºnanni and Ben to a spot of night caching. We had a great adventure through the bush and lucky for us spotted zero Drop Bears and Vampiroos but though we might have caught the tail end of a Zombat as it was high tailing it out of there. TFTC and the adventures
Found while in SA for the Mega event. We had the littlies petrified by the time we were back at the car
Thanks again.
