Quick find on a muggy Spring day; no fairytale creatures to contend with today.

21-Oct-21
Grabbing some caches on the way home from night shift TFTC

26-Sep-21
Found with the geokids today. Was surprised to find it so quickly when I’ve been here at least twice before and not found it. Has been the blue frownie face closest to home for quite some time, so was glad to finally turn it into a yellow smilie. Log was wet unfortunately, even in the plastic bag, so we were unable to sign. Typical of the film canisters unfortunately, as they are not waterproof. Took a pic of the geokids with the cache as proof of finding it. TFTC.

07-Jul-21
Put the bike on the back and headed south for some caching today.
Started with a short walk into the Onkaparinga River Recreation Park for 2, including a FTF.
Then parked in Hackham West and headed off on the bike. Found another 11 before a sidestand malfunction led to a flat tyre in Onkaparinga Hills and a 4K walk back to the car during which another 2 were found.
Then on the way home, well after dark, another 3 were found.
This was where the stand broke, turned around to see the bike hit the ground and hear the air escaping from the valve stem which somehow managed to get fractured.
Thanks to c4nt-crew for putting out this cache for me to find.

Today I headed south for the morning do so a few walking caches in the western end of Onkaparinga before collecting a few caches in the suburbs. 18 finds for the day.

Thanks for the cache

That ledge is deadly... tftc on a Sunday arvo

11-Oct-20
Tricky alright! The angry and extremely aggressive bull-ants were timing me and i reckon after about 2 minutes at best, they declared war on my feet so i had to be swift with my actions and the cache also was swiftly found then. Learning a new dance (that involved shaking angry ants off) i was SL at 11:55 on Sunday 11 October 2020 Big Grin

Thanks c4nt-crew for a sneaky hide that had me looking in every tree and grassy spot [:o] Big Grin

Re-hid as found and replaced with the red bull-ants retreating as i showed them that their numbers were beginning to dwindle ha ha, who am i kidding [B)]
Their loss was mere collateral so i was outta there [:o] Big Grin

The contents in the bag are good and dry but i can't say the same for the old log outside the bag [:o]

20-Feb-20
I’ve been meaning to a get this close to home cache since I started geocaching. Something always put me off, first DNF logs on the cache, then knee injury, then DNF logs again!
Seeing it had been found recently I decided to come and finally cross it off the list. Seeing it needed a new log I came prepared. It did indeed desperately need a new log which it now has so the needs maintenance can be removed Smile thanks for the interesting walk and the cache. Off to try find a second of yours now!

04-Aug-19
After the Breakfast Club 3 I headed out where the gps took me to find some caches. After about 25 finds headed home. Found a nice variety of hides but ended up with very wet and cold feet due to all the wet grass and knee high sour sobs.
Almost at the next milestone and streak still alive.
This took me ages to locate. It found it in the end my feet got so wet here so squelched my way back to the car. Unable to sign the log it is just a wet manky mess. TFTC

As per other reports found but water logged and can't make our mark but TFTC

04-Aug-18
Looked for a while but couldn't find it, gave up eventually after nearly falling off the ledge. :/

22-Jul-18
Eventually spotted when I stood at the right angle. As per previous cachers comments the log is very damp. Cache could do with a dry log AND a small zip lock bag to help keep it dry.
Had fun finding it. TFTC.

Nice spot & clever hide, thanks for the cache c4nt-crew Smile

This one took a while even with 4 sets of eyes and 3 teams. After looking up the type of hide, we altered our search, spread out and CP made the find. TFTC.

19-May-14
Another nice hide c4nt crew. Sorry we didn't have a small enough pencil to replace the runaway pencil. Have played a bit of tennis on the nearby courts with the kiddies when they were littler. The detour on the way home from walk was a relaxing break from the boring drive home. Tftc

17-May-14
Well I almost killed myself several times for this cache but it was a good hide in the end. Smile needs a pencil though TFTC

PS: I would not advise going to this cache at night

17-May-14
Had an interesting walk around the "swamp" luckily there was no water today so didn't get wet feet. Came in from below and had a good look around before ascending to GZ. The hint certainly helped. [^] Waited for a few muggles to go by then made the find. Big Grin
Thanks for the cache c4nt-crew and for bringing me to somewhere I had never been before. Big Grin
