15-Sep-18
I spent quite a bit of time looking but nope.

07-Sep-18
I was in the area so thought I'd try again. Still no luck for me. Plenty of items around that *almost* fit the clue, a few I felt did fit, none with any sort of cache, let alone one that would garner some of the logs I read.
Might be time to PAF.

Having injured my back last weekend I was under orders from the physio to keep moving. Walking is ideal he said. Sounds like geocaching to me!
Sadly we had no luck here today. Lots of potential hint items but none with a cache. Phone GPSr next to useless under the trees but even having popped back out into clear sky spots it kept pointing the same way.

Has solved this some time ago and made a quick easy find whilst gathering the numbers for Ed's orienteering cache. Had the cool container in hand after a scan around with the GPS bouncing around. Thanks for the hide.

I had to have some help with this puzzle. Today we were having a family walk around the area and we soon found the pretty little cache. TFTC.

I figured pretty early on how to solve this puzzle, but it took a lot longer to put that into practice. Eventually found the information I needed and got the greed tick. Out with the family walking around the area today. Cache was quickly found. Thanks for the puzzle, and the cache.

Actually a quick one for me to solve - thanks!

It's Monday so the start of my weekend after a busy set of nights thanks to crate day , who ever thought of that idea needs a boot. Rant over. Of to the trails I go have had some help to solve this. GPS was bouncing because of the canopy so a keen scout around and the well crafted container was found. Fp from me because of the effort gone into making the container. Thank you TheWanglers for placing and maintaining Teaser Sunday (Canterbury) geocache, from Mr Cuddly Brick Found on this awesome day the 5 December 2016, sweet cache number # 1541

7484. Our walking group did the circuit of the Quarry Park today and I did it again once we had finished to find three caches! This one was number three, nicely hidden. GPS struggled in the trees today - I was beginning to think I had made a mistake with the puzzle. Found it just as I was about to give up for the day - right next to where I had started searching. Thanks. Rodney.

TFTC. I was checking my solved non collected puzzle list and this cache popped up. I have completed this one when out for a leg stretch with a friend. I was sure that I had logged it, but seems not. Sorry this is a stab at the date. When I am here next I will check the log for the correct date.
Thanks TheWanglers for the cute puzzle and hide.

Cache mission for the day time, and I decided that knocking off Halswell Quarry sounded like a good plan for the day!! I came down in the morning, and it was quite a nice wonder grabbing all the caches! - I did however somehow pick the day that some local school was having their sports day/cross country!! Luckily I was out of their way almost the whole day! And therefore manage to clear almost the whole quarry out, bar one cache which I somehow missed!! It also seemed like every new mother was out walking with her newborn baby! Was very jealous wondering when our bundle would come, but got plenty of smiles from all the mums with babies strapped to them!! (Little did I know I was only a few hours off going into labour myself! Razz )

This puzzle I'd clicked on to the theme pretty quickly surprisingly! though the second half did take a little longer to work out!!

While I was in the area, I managed to finally knock this one off! Did get quite a weird stare upon emerging from the bushes...

Consec caching day # 1419

TFTC!! Smile

Found on a walk with Tommy. Great puzzle I figured out a while back. Nicely themed cache container. Tommy did not want to put it back. Took a lot of effort to convince him it would be fun to hide it again!
Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.

Took a while to solve this, I tried this Sunday and that Sunday and then something clicked, this is the Wanglers remember and the wee puzzle was then solved so quickly! Found with VictoriousOne one evening. Was a quick find but we decided it was safer to walk on the track rather than the road on the way out because of all the Pokemon people in their cars!!! They were everywhere!!! TFTC

13-Jul-16
Found while out for an evening walk with Mrs TwoSharpe. A nice warm evening for a walk round the track. It seems we were doing the wrong activity though.... the pokemon fanantics were out in mass! TFTC

19-Oct-15
Didn't have a lot of time available to solve this, but a combination of having done something similar previously and some guidance in the logs set me on the right track and I was pretty happy to get the tick when I checked my work.

Swung past this afternoon and ducked in for a quick find. Cool container and a fun puzzle all up - TFTC

it was time for a leg stretch so loaded the family up for a walk around the loop. Luckily, the kids were in a keen cache hunting mode as I had the really little guy on my back and couldn't get too close to GZ. Nicely themed cache btw, the kids loved it. Cheers

Solved a while back, after a wee nudge from the CO. Last find on my 371 day streak, can now get home a wee bit earlier and not have to take as many short cuts home.

A nice wee walk to the final, not too many peeps out tonight.

Thanks for the hide.

This puzzle sure was a teaser! I knew what sort of thing was required. I have spent hours over various days conversing with Mr Google and Ms Thingy search.
Then I struck gold. Well I had but I couldn't interpret it. I sat on it and thought for a while. Then I messaged TW. He replied but it took me a while to interpret his answer and apply it. With a bit of preserving I managed to crack it.
Thank goodness the weather was nice today. It made the search pleasant. Neat hide and container.
Off to do more mundane things. Grocery shopping yippee.

#8895. When Troodles mentioned she'd suggested I solve this puzzle when it first came out, it did ring a bell. Oh well, better solve it (I was so far behind in my logging, putting it off a bit further didn't matter). It didn't take long to work put the coordinates (as an aside, both mates got it wrong; we've got a solar calendar, not a lunar one; what's wrong with the first or second Sunday in April???). Pretty quick find once we had done the hard work of getting to GZ. TFTC.

When this puzzle was first published, I decided that StreetWalker should solve it as the subject was right up his alley. Last night I mentioned to him that he had yet to do this, so he set to then and there and soon had some co-ords to give me. Decided we needed a visit to the area as it's been several years since our last visit, and the bonus of a solved puzzle is only incentive we need.
A quick find (by StreetWalker, he seemed to find most of the caches today, maybe I was walking too slowly?) and I was surprised to see so few names in the log book. TFTC.

On first looking at the puzzle I had a fairly good idea what was required but it took a little while before finding the info in enough detail to get a good set of coordinates. Finely got the tick a few weeks ago and today after work and spending some time in the garden it was a twilight hunt with the cache being spotted fairly quickly. Interesting puzzle and glad to get the smiley and the Quarry cleaned up. TFTC

When this cache was published I looked at the description and thought, "Oh no, not another number cache! I hate number caches." So, the cache was put aside and I gave no more thought to it. Then earlier today as I planned a raid on some Kennedy's Bush Road caches I noticed that I hadn't solved this one. So, although it wasn't a Sunday I decided to have a go at solving it. An immediate idea came to mind and it was just a few minutes later that I received a green smilie face [^] from the checker. Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.

It wasn't a Sunday, it wasn't sunny when I saw this new puzzle cache. Cool So, a ghastly rainy day was a good excuse to have a look at a TW puzzle. When some good looking numbers emerged, thought Eureka ! But didn't want to go THERE Twisted in the pouring rain & when I saw that I got the first geocheck smilie, Red Face it was ... go have a cuppa tea to ponder the teaser "to go or not to go ....." [?]

Then it looked like the weather was easing so I thought maybe ....." Two caching friends couldn't always agree on when to have a celebration. Every now and then they can agree ".... to go on a caching trip esp if a FTF is a possibility ! Yes ! Justmeg is as stupid/brave/daring to go too. Hmmm in my haste to add new caches to GPS I managed to wipe all my Chch database so just added the few I needed as waypoints. [:o)] (Another story !) By the time we were on the road, the weather was looking better & no rain so that was a good start !

This was the first cache we headed for & great hint meant easy to find the cache exactly where it should be ! Empty log sheet ... meant we're first here so told JMG that we could also have a chance at the new "Sheepy Beepy" trad one too. So that's where we headed after we navigated our way through the mud & stuff ! Wink The first of 2 FTFs today with JMG ! Big Grin [^]

2TF not far behind jmg and lo-vista.
A day off but busy busy doing jobs and family things. Had a quiet moment at lunchtime and quickly solved the clever wee puzzle. Still busy busy...but managed to gather the family together for a squelchy afternoons wander in one of our favorite spots. Quick find and sign. Cheers.

FTF with LaVista and what a mission. I started solving this puzzle this morning when I was interupted with a smack at the end of our street. After during a bit of traffic control and helping out I was then an hour and half late for craft group. Got a call from LaVista asking if I was fool enough to want to go out this afternoon. I was already soaked so couldn't get any wetter so what the hay, even though it wasn't Sunday Wink. We headed off and the rain lessened as we drew near GZ. Excitment grew as we recognised the spot and the search began in earnest. LoVista turned up the wee cache... nice! TFTC
