I tried and of all three great hiding spots it could be there was no cache to be found. Great spot but no luck for me
It's very disheartening to come all this way to discovet it hasn't been found in a while. Damn. I tried but failed too.
We are on vacation in Australia and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

On our great roadtrip through Australia we had to leave Alice Springs today and went on to Tennant Creek. On our way along Stuart Highway we found some interesting caches. This was one of them.

Visited as part of a Ghan bus tour of historical Alice. It was not difficult to detour from the buildings here to locate this cache. Thank you for a quick find. It is my first visit here and my time is limited.
Quick find on the way back from visiting the Telegraph Station. Turned out to be right in front of the car where I parked. TFTC
Made it up to Alice Springs on my trip up north with a couple of muggle friends.
I'm only finding randon caches as I go along as to not upset them to much.
Visited the old telegraph station and on the way in stopped to find this one while they were getting sorted to come in.
Thanks Alicecaching TFTC.

Found easily at GZ. Visiting from Bunbury WA for a week or so. Only a few caches with mobile phone as GPS has gone to heaven.
We pulled up at the Telegraph station and wondered if there was a Geocache here. Our car park was the first in the parking area and the cache was only 10 m away. A quick find and all in good condition. TFTC Alicecaching. Found 19/4/18 10:58 am. Cache 1507 for us.

Today we visited the Teleraphen Station and the Cache. Thank you says tabiocca from switzerland
Found after having a good look at the old telegraph station this morning and noticed that we had parked only a few metres away from the gz. With that we soon had the cache in hand and with no fruit for me to pick l decided a drink of water was just as satisfying on this very hot start to the day. Thanks Alicecaching for the hide.
We had to look a little longer but found it in the end @12:15

We arrived yesterday in Alice Springs and we love this place !!
Our first stop today was at the old telegraph station. Very interesting, we learned a lot. We even saw two kangaroos hopping around!
The time was ready for my first find in the NT after we had a very nice looking cappuchino at the café. Approaching ground zero I saw the cache from far away...

Came up to the station for lunch and found we were right between two caches. Hustled off to find this one first, the easier rated of the two, before we joined a guided tour of the station. Found with MrsMochila. TFTC
We sat under the trees and had lunch and then decided to go and look for this cache. A bit of mountain climbing and it was ours. TFTC
Always up for a bit of rock climbing after lunch and after going the wrong way and too far up we finally got on track and found the cache. No mountain goats in our ancestry! TFTC
Toms Pontipine (TB6RGW0) Dropped off at this cache. Apologies for the delays in progressing Toms Pontipines travels.

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature.
This traditional Cache we hav also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.

Together with Team "GER-17" (consisting of murri24, der Eifelaner & dieFraudiemitmuss and me) I was able to find this Cache quickly.
After this find we took a stroll around on of the walkways and to the Alice Springs Waterhole.
Thanks a lot for hiding this Cache!

Thanks a lot for hiding this Cache!
We were held over in Alice for a little bit longer than expected with mechanical difficulties and what better than to fill in the time to go caching and add a few more Smilies to our total.
We didn't read the cache page very well when we started off with this one and certainly parked a lot further away than we needed to but they always say that exercise is good for you.
We arrived at gz to find a young family playing hide and seek right where we wanted to search so that wasn't going to work and turned to head back to the car but before we got too far we heard mum yelling at the kids to get in the car so we hung around and waited until they left and then headed back for what turned out to be a nice easy find and happily added our name to the log.
Many thanks Alice caching but once more for the cache

Touring around Alice Springs and this was one of the places we had to check out again. I parked the car and checked the GPS and what do you know. A cache 10 metres away. I made a quick grab before heading over to the telegraph station
