Quick find. Another find in this LGA and another find closer to 20 finds. Found with Mogni. The plan this October Long Weekend was to head over to Victoria and host 3 CITO's plus host my first geocaching event, also increase my finds to 20 in at least 5 victorian LGA's. Given that we were caching in the country alot of km's were travelled. The weather was raining on and off all saturday including the night time but by luck all 3 events that day were dry. The first CITO ( and the cache of the trip ) was in Kaniva at the wetlands, the next in CITO was in Dimboola at one of the rest areas, and placing a future challenage cache then slowly making our way to wycheproof canavan park which was our accomadation for the weekend and then up to Mount Wycheproof ( the smallest registered mountain in Australia - at 43metres tall ) for my coffee and sunset event. Sunday started off with a early 630 am CITO in the Mount Wycheproof wetlands reserve ( sorry i did forget about daylight savings when i made the time for the event but it was a dawn and light still ). Now off to swan hill ( which is my least favorite LGA to cache in ) and then a few more LGA's and back to the tent in the dark well past dinner. Then it was slowly heading home via the silo arts works along the way and walpuep and then over the border to pinaroo and home. We went through over a milk crate of spare containers and got 2 and 1/4 garage bags of cans and bottles. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
Sir_Spectre and I went for a long weekend over to Victoria, we hosted some events and CITO's and was really impressed by all the people that made the effort to join us. Any caches that needed attention got it, with many log books being replaced or extras sheets added as needed. Thanks to all who placed and maintained caches for us to find
Second cache for the day and a new VIC LGA ticked off the list. Inside cache is damp surprisingly but log signed. TN, left a pathtag. TFTC
Up this way to celebrate with friends for milestone birthdays and a chance for a little geocaching in between. Thanks to Sparra0907 for placing and maintaining this cacheRegards kbucky
Nice quick find while making a quick bottle for little Miss 1. Unfortunately there were no travel bugs to collect we left a few swaps.
Making our way from Mildura to Swan Hill today and finding a few caches along the way - even a bit of the new geo art at Euston. Thanks to all the COs who hid the caches for us to find as we make our way along the roads.
Out and about caching today while travelling from Mildura to Swan Hill. Arrived at GZ and in short time found cache. Signed log. TFTC
We finally got the chance to come up and camp at Gunbower Island for a few days. While there was lots of relaxing and fishing going on, there was also some geocaching to be done. Inevitably all good times come to an end and it was time to head home. But there's always "just one more". A nice easy find here. TFTC Sparra0907.
A bit of a journey to get to this one but it was the next closest. There were no travel bugs at home today but I did spot Chooknchunk had decided to take this route home. Fortunately I had one more day to go, so its back to camp for a swim for me.Thanks Sparra0907 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Are you ready to nominate in the 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards? Love a TB hotel, I completely forgot to drop the TB's I was carrying -----------------------------------------------------------------------------Found on a quick trip around Victoria to mop up all of the counties I was missing. Had my new swag so stayed in caravan parks so I could sleep while the car charged. Was at almost 100% charge every morning, and the nights camping cost about the same as a full charge at a supercharger anyway.
I had a few days leave so Mrs JTreeTrack2 and I decided to pack up the car and head off to where it is slightly warmer (than Ballarat). So North to the Murray River, Swan Hill and Mildura then home through the Wimmera. What is a trip without some caching, so some caching we did, not heaps but enough to leave some more smiley faces dotted on some new parts of the Map.
Nice spot with plenty of parking. Great spot for a cup of coffee. The log was signed and put back in place.
The Cache is nice and healthy.
Thanks for the Cache Sparra0907

Unless otherwise stated - all good here. Signed and replaced.

On our way to Melbourne yesterday. Dropped off two Travel Bugs that we picked up in Norfolk Island. Replaced the cache container to GZ as someone had moved it away from the tree. Container all good and TB's all good. Happy Travels. Cheers. The CO.
Found on our way home from Mildura. Container seemed a little exposed and I didn't see either of the travel bugs listed inside. I replaced the container in a more sheltered position before leaving. Thanks for the cache Sparra0907.
Called in to check on this cache on our way home from Bendigo. Dropped of two TB's into here. Cache was all good but out in the open. Returned to GZ.
On our way home from the big smoke so we thought we'd check on this cache and drop off a Travel Bug. The cache is fine and dandy and it now has a new TB inside it. All good and safe. Cheers. The CO.
The long weekend is upon us and after organising to pick something up from Strathmerton Saturday morning, I checked the map before hand and here is a place that I have not visited before which was Moulamein.
I guy I work with stayed here in January and recommend that it was worth a visit.
So after detouring via Conargo to see if the pub has finished being rebuilt (not open yet) I arrived at my destination.
After touring around Moulameinand spending a great night in my cabin at the pub that overlooked the Edwards River it was on to my next destination Lake Boga then Kerang as it was the only accomodation that I could find.
I was taking the less travelled roads which usually meant dirt roads but that was fine by me and then the bitumen.
After spending the night in the pub it was time to head towards home, went for a walk around the the Loddon River and Levee bank then now to head south again.
Some of my bugs visited the motel but I had none to drop off and there were no guests staying there either for me to help them on their way.
Thanks Sparra0907 TFTC.

Quick find with the geofamily as we made our way home from a holiday. Many thanks for the cache
Can’t believe I had a DNF on this one previously. Not sure what was going on there. There were no TBs listed as being in this cache, but I found one in here that had been listed as missing elsewhere. I have taken it to move it on.
Quick find on the drive home from Lake Boga parkrun! Thanks for taking the time to put a cache here!
Decided to take a day out caching after a long stint of no caching, not only because of the Covid restrictions, but my mother had a bad fall and our elderly dog required constant supervision.
A quick find. Not much room for TB's and we had none were in residence,

Find No. 3071. Found with FUF009 at 2.20pm.
With Covid restrictions being lifted it was now time to go for a days outing with Geodog Penny and FUF009, and do some caching.
As we wanted to collect the 'Wonders of the World' stamps we decided to head up Kerang way, targeting the caches that held the stamps we both needed. Naturally we done a few extras along the way, as how can you go past a cache that is close and handy to the road we were travelling on?
A cache in another parking bay area which we like and so does Geodog Penny as she gets to have a roam around by herself without having to worry about vehicles going past.
This was easy to locate but sadly no TB's here today for logging.

Nice and really easy find. We are on our way to Pyramid Hill and thought we would try and find a geocache along the way. Lo and behold we found this one. I definitely recommend it
Cache was found without any issues, in average condition still holding up. Thanks for the find!
On the long way to Melbourne for the AGP F1 grabbing caches as I go. TFTC

Stopped here for a quick stretch and bam a geocache!! Thankyou! Also found some trackables yay!!
This one had been hidden rather well and took me several minutes to find, including checking the hiding sport three times!
Dropped off a TB into this cache on our way home from the Big Smoke. Happy Travels little fella.
As we headed from Swan Hill to Bendigo today, we stopped along the way to look for some caches. This was one of them.
Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Sparra0907 for the cache and others you have placed in the area.

After setting up camp at the showgrounds we did a tour of the country side hunting down caches.
Swapped TBs here.

Another cache find on our trip to the River. Picked a perfect day to be caching, thanks Sparra0907.
This was the first of a trio of finds for me along this kilometre or so stretch of road. A nice quick find at 15:00 and it was off to the next one.
TNLNSL. Thanks Sparra0907.
**PS:** There was no sign of the *[ikolor's HQ Travel Tag](https://coord.info/TB3Q2X3)* trackable in the cache.

Found with becca85, boo09 & chan02 on our way home from a family trip to Mildura. TFTC
A quick find with boo09, neisha07 & chan02 on our way home from a mini-trip to Mildura. We'd stopped at Tresco on the way to check in with and bring my Grandfather some dinner so it was quite ate and very dark by the time we stopped here.
No TB's but seeing the previous log, I'm super annoyed that I was in too much of a hurry to get out of the cold and missed grabbing Virbull's pathtag.

We pulled over here, nice and quiet at the moment, found the Travel Bug Hotel, duties done and dusted, however there were no TBs in the cache container when we visited.
Thanks for sharing this spot to stretch the legs.

Grab this one on the way home after a weekend dodging shotgun pellets while trying to camp during duck season opening. LOL
Dropped off a TB on the way to the big smoke. Lets keep it moving. Have a good trip. Cheers.
Visited the Travel Bug Hotel with Kelligula and took two trackables to take on our adventure and Kelligula left one behind. TFTC
I had planned a big few days of caching in SA so I left work on a Tuesday evening and hit the road from Melbourne. This was my return journey on the Sunday and instead of chasing big numbers I was covering a lot of kms and targeting some specific caches to satisfy missing spots on either Jasmer or the Victorian LGA challenge. This one I had identified before I set off from home to tick off the Gannawarra shire. Having headed east to get other targets I know carried on to pick up the Murray Valley Highway near Lake Boga. After passing through Kerang I stopped at this one just before I crossed the council boundary into Loddon. No problems finding this one in a likely spot. I dropped a couple of TBs here but they were picked up and moved on before I could register them due to my tardy logging practices! Signed the log and visited some of my own trackables. Thanks for the cache and for helping to me to tick off another LGA Sparra0907.
Great cache, nice little leg stretch as we hunted. Swag left and two travel bugs joining us on our trip to be rehomed. TFTC
Having to go to Swanhill to deliver some equipment for the New Years Eve festivities there we made the most of it by stopping to grab a few caches along the way to break up the drive.
This was the fifth for the day.
Doing this trip last year we had stopped here and had a search for this cache but with no luck. Fast forward twelve months we stopped here again but this time with a totally different out come. The cache was located very quickly and this time we were able to add our name to the log.
We discovered a couple of trackables and helped two along their way.
Again our thanks sparra0907 for placing and maintaining this cache.

Went and checked on this cache again, and its still there all fine and OK. Also just dropped off four travel bugs into this cache today. Happy travels to you all and have a great time. Cheers.
Yep this cache is fine and dandy. Still in it's same hiding place all set and ready to be found, right container and all. Cheers.
Found the cache at this location.
Cache and contents are in good condition. Having read the cache owners explanation,
I don’t see what the problem is.

Ignore the sticker with "The Wharf" on it. That is the cache and you have found it and that is the TB cache container. And that is a phone number, not a cache number. Cheers.
Found a cache called "the wharf" at this location but the geocache number does not seem to exist
Did not find the named cache at this location. However found one by the name of "The Wharf" and signed the log of that cache with Sadds.
Went for a drive today to check on this hotel, and yes it is wet inside. Replaced it straight away with a new container and log-book and put all the swaps into the new container. All set and ready to go again. Thanks and Cheers. The CO.

It would seem this cache is in need of owner attention. As observed with the logs of 2 Jan 18, whilst the log was dry, there was water again in the container, indicating that the container is no longer weatherproof and needs to be replaced please.

While lived in Bendigo for many years, we were very familiar with the road to Swan Hill. It was the number of stops to stretch our legs and look for a cache that was surprising today.
The appearance oh the hotel made us smile. Unfortunately it is still not weatherproof, luckily there are no guests at present.
**Feedback to CO:** The listed trackable guests were not in the cache:
- Australian Event hound (TBW0TX)
- Darknstormy's Teleporting Trackable (TB4V57K)
Thanks 'Sparra0907' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Sean.75, kenare and I were heading home from a camping trip up the river. We decided to stop here to see if we could find the cache. We did! Yay! Tftc
